Glad Tidings

Luke 2:4-10 From our text passage we see glad tidings were brought to shepherds who lived in the same country where Jesus was born. The glad tidings were delivered by an angel of God. The angel didn't come to pass judgement, destroy, or kill. He came for a higher purpose. He came for the gospel. He came to direct according to the glad tiding that had happened. He calmed the fear of the shepherds who were frightened to see him. The shepherds also saw a host of angels in the heaven praising God in excitement about Jesus's birth. Glad tidings means good news. Gladness is another word for joy/joyful. Glad tidings bring joy. The gospel means good news. Good news brings about joy and celebration. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of gladness/joy. Psalm 45:7 The kingdom of God is a kingdom of joy. Romans 14:17 The birth of Jesus the Christ brought joy in heaven and on earth. Why shouldn't we celebrate it? Heaven celebrated God coming to earth in the form of a human being, a baby who

You've Got Something

Genesis    1:1-19 God spoke the world into existence out of nothing. Nothing is something when God is in it. It would seem God made creation out of nothing. At some point God had nothing valuable to work with except darkness and disorder to achieve His intended outcome. Genesis 1:2 God called forth creation out of Himself. God achieved what He had hoped to achieve. Genesis 1:31 God achieved His aim God achieved His purposes. God is an achiever. Humanity was originally created in God's image and likeness through Adam, which Adam lost and Jesus restored. You are created to achieve your intended target- your dreams, hope, vision, imagination. You are created to achieve your aim. You are created to achieve your purposes. You are an achiever. Genesis 1:26-28 It may seem like you have nothing today but that is a good place to start from. It may seem like your life is full of disorder today but disorder can be converted to order with God. If you have God you have it all. Make sure God is

The Jesus Wine

John 2:1-11 Our text passage reveals Jesus turning water into wine. When we ponder on this we realize it is miraculous. The timing was miraculous, the miracle happened just in time. It happened at a good enough time to avoid embarrassment for the bridegroom. Jesus is never late, and His miracles occur in perfect timing. The wine Jesus produced came after after a first wine was served, it came last. Jesus came to earth after Adam. Adam was the first man to be made, Jesus is the last Adam. We inherited an earthly nature from Adam, while we receive a divine/heavenly nature from Jesus Christ. As the first wine at that wedding was not as sweet as the second wine which came from Jesus, our second nature produced in us by the Holy Spirit through salvation in Jesus Christ is sweeter than our first nature which we have received from Adam. This second nature, this divine nature is what makes us the salt of the earth. It gives us a new and better flavor. In Christ Jesus our nature is made bette

He Knows What To Do

John 6:1-13 Our text passage is very insightful. It gives us insights into the kind of man Jesus Christ was/is, the kind of heart He has, and His solution to difficult situations. Jesus was a problem solver when He walked the earth as a man. He used His ability to teach and work miracles to solve people's problems. In our text passage account, Jesus was faced with what seemed like a daunting task, a huge challenge for mere men to overcome when a crowd of over five thousand people were before Him- men, women, and children who needed to be fed. Feeding them would have been easy if there was enough resources to feed them and if they were at a location where food could be bought. The situation didn't look favorable. Fortunately, it's Jesus Christ we are talking about here. He was no ordinary man. When we involve God, unfavorable scenarios, unfavorable circumstances, and unpleasant situations do not count. God is a God of truth, He is not a God who operates by human facts. Whe

Wisdom For Life's Questions

James 1:5 Wisdom is a prerequisite in life. Fortunately God is willing to give it to as many as ask Him for it. There are things we are meant to discover as we journey through life. There are things God wants us to find out through Him. Proverbs 25:2 Life's journey requires making discoveries, these discoveries demand wisdom. We need wisdom for life's journey. Proverbs 4:7 There will be situations confronting us in this world that may seem hard. They are life's tough questions, they are life's difficult questions, they are life's hard questions. Jesus faced a number of such questions while He walked the earth in human form. He knew challenging situations, He was also confronted directly with hard and tricky questions at times. The Pharisees and Sadducees tried nailing Him with hard questions whenever the opportunity presented itself. John 8:1-11 There were questions meant to corner Him, discredit Him, and embarrass Him which He scaled through with the wisdom of God

The Divine Nature

2 Peter 1:4 The nature of a thing determines it's potential. You cannot be better than the nature in you. You nature determines your limitations and your possibilities. Your nature has a lot to do with determining what you can achieve. Animals behave the way they do because of their nature. Every living thing has it's own nature. Your nature has to do with your DNA, your genetics. It is the way you are 'wired' internally. Your DNA, your genetics comes about as a result of your ancestry, your lineage. It's what you've inherited from your parents which has very likely been passed on Your looks, your health, your personality and maybe your character  will have a lot to do with your family history. God is a generational thinking God. Exodus 3:6 God is the Spirit who sees the big picture. He looks at things from a generational and eternal perspective. 1 Chronicles 28:4-6 If God gives you an instruction it is to produce not just a temporary outcome but a generationa

Holy Spirit, the Miracle Worker

Genesis 1 We see from our text passage that the Holy Spirit is the Spirit that moves, that's creative, and colorful. When the Spirit moves, miracles happen. When the Spirit moves, creative miracles occur. The movement of the Spirit produces the unusual. Sons of God, followers of Jesus Christ are entitled to the unusual, the miraculous, and the supernatural that the Spirit manifests. Acts 10:38 This is because the Spirit is meant to move through and move in the life of a believer, the Christian. For this reason it's in our interest to be in tune with the Spirit. To flow with the Spirit is not to miss our miracles. When we move with the Spirit who is the miracle worker we won't miss the wonders God wants to manifest in and through our lives. Matthew 12:18 The Holy Spirit was a key player during creation. He is creative, dynamic, colorful and has good taste. The beauty of the Spirit's work is seen in nature- the beauty of the sky, the colors of the rainbow, the glory of

Flow With The Spirit (2)

Hebrews 3:7,8 Flowing with the Spirit is not merely a common sense affair, there is nothing common about it. Most people are not flowing with the Spirit. Most are not in tune with the Spirit. It is far from common. It is not an intellectual affair, it is a Spirit affair that requires sensitivity to the Holy Spirit, confidence in knowing the Holy Spirit communicates and being aware of the presence of the Holy Spirit in your life. To flow with the Spirit of God is to have a heart that picks up the Spirit's inspiration and direction. A circumcised heart will do so. Romans 2:28,29 The enemy wants us to have hardened hearts so that we will not be sensitive to the Spirit. A hardened heart is a heart of stone. It is a heart the Spirit cannot work with, it is a heart the Spirit cannot use or communicate with. God is willing to work on our hearts if we allow Him. Ezekiel 36:26,27 A heart of flesh is the type heart God wants us to have. It is the kind of heart that can receive from the Lor

Flow With The Spirit

John 7:38 Our text passage reads about the living water that flows out of the heart/belly of the believer . This living water is the Holy Spirit. Certain words stand out in that text- heart, flow, and living water. Our heart is very crucial to spiritual matters, even our salvation Romans 10:9 The heart is likened to a storage unit, the things of life are stored in our hearts. Information, facts, and memories we gather are stored in our hearts. Proverbs 4:23 What we store in our heart determines what we can give the Holy Spirit to work with. Store the word of God in your heart. The Holy Spirit works with our hearts. It is interesting to note many of the things used to describe the Holy Spirit are elements/creation  that move or can be made to move. Anything that flows is not static, that which flows is that which moves. Wind, oil, water, rivers, fire and a dove are some of the representations of the Holy Spirit in the Bible. Let's explore them. Wind- the direction of the wind can b

The God Who Connects (2)

Matthew 2:1-12 It was God who connected the Magi (wise men) to Jesus. God did it in the most unusual way, He used a bright and glorious Star to lead the wise men (Magi) to where Jesus was over a two year journey. God is not a usual god and He does unusual things. That Jesus may be blessed the heaven led the wise men who had gifts for Jesus to where young Jesus was. God can do anything to connect you to your blessing, and He can use anyone He chooses to bless you. It was God who connected Ruth to Boaz for marriage through Naomi's guidance. Ruth ended up marrying the richest and most eligible bachelor in the land through God's connection at work motivated by Naomi's instruction. Ruth 3:1-18 Ruth was rewarded for her goodness to her mother in-law Naomi, and her decision to serve the true God alongside Naomi. Ruth 1:16 It was God who connected Rebecca to Isaac by a divine orchestration that involved several players. Genesis 24:1-67 God is the God who connects and He knows how

The God Who Connects

Genesis 24:1-62 The story from our text passage is a wonderful story of how God brought about a marital union through God's divine orchestration. This story is evidence that God is truly a God who rules in the affairs of men. Daniel 4:7 While our text passage is about a miracle marriage coming to life, it shows deeper things about God's ability and how God works. We see that God connects, God orchestrates, and God directs. Psalm 37:23 The God who connected Isaac and Rebecca despite being in distant geographical locations, strangers to one another, with no previous intention of meeting and getting married is the same God who can connect people together for business, ministry, academics, and career purposes. For the sake of God's kingdom purposes and assignments God connects people together. God knows those you should do life with, God knows those who matter to your life and destiny, God knows those you should influence, those who should mentor you, and He knows how to conne

Prayer: A Light In The Darkness

Colossians 4:2 Prayer is of God. The Spirit that inspires you to pray is the Spirit of God. Romans 8:26 The Spirit of God is light, the kingdom of God is light, the children of God are light, the church of God is a city of light. We are from a kingdom and camp of light. Colossians 1:13 People of the kingdom pray, people of the light pray. Prayer is light for everything we do in the kingdom is done in light. 1 Peter 2:9 When we pray according to God's will we are piercing the darkness spiritually. Prayer helps us push back the darkness. Prayer brings us before God, in God's presence we draw grace from the One who sits on the throne of grace. Your prayer time is your audience with God. Don't joke with your personal prayer time, spend quality time with God through prayer. God is Light, prayer brings us before the Light. When we come before the Light, light rubs off on us. In God who is Light we receive light to function in the darkness of this world. Hebrews 4:16 Prayer stren

Idols: Deceptions of Darkness

Exodus 20:3-6 Idols produce vanity and lead to emptiness. Idols in our life come about by deception basically. Anyone can have an idol in his/her life. An idol is anything we have a preference for over God. An idol is a thing we prefer to give our time, attention, and strength to over a relationship with God. There's idolatry which is the form of worship given to a graven image, a carved image, a bowing down to an idol. God frowns at this. Psalm 115:5-8 An idol is anything we enjoy more than the presence of God. There are idols that are outright evil and there are idols that are not evil in themselves but have become sinful to the individuals who have them because they have been prioritized over God. An example of this is money, when money takes the place of the love of God in the human heart it becomes an idol to that heart. 1 Timothy 6:10 Idols can come into our heart through misplaced priorities, the strength of the flesh, the lure of this world, and our human weakness. Idols a

Bewitchment: A work of Darkness

Galatians 3:1-3 In our text passage we see the Apostle Paul asked the Galatians who had bewitched them. There are all sorts of bewitched people in the world today unfortunately. A fact about bewitched people is that many of them don't understand the battle they have come into, the fight against their destiny and the fact that their minds have been hijacked through deception. What many people have settled for as their fate is not God's will for them. Bewitchment makes a person do foolish things. Darkness (the gates of hell) has many strategies. We must not be ignorant of the wiles of the enemy, bewitchment is one of them. 2 Corinthians 2:11 To be bewitched is simply to be deceived and under a contrary influence. Bewitchment brings a dark presence into a persons life or aspects of a person's life. Bewitchment blinds the eyes, makes people misuse opportunities, makes people lose favor with others and makes a person act contrary to the ways of mental dignity. When Paul wrote

Defeating The Darkness

John 1:4,5 The light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it. Darkness has been an ancient age-long force on this earth. The whole world is under the influence of darkness except for the few who walk with God and truly know Him. Psalm 74:20 We see darkness on the scene during the account of creation before God called forth the manifestation of light. Genesis 1:2 God created light and called it good. Genesis 1:4 Light is better than darkness, light is the answer to darkness, and light gets rid of darkness. Darkness connotes that which is evil, hidden, ungodly, contrary, and harmful. Darkness is a force that infiltrates the souls of men. People full of darkness or possessed with darkness are puppets in the enemy's hand. Darkness is a spirit. Darkness is a realm, it is the realm of the enemy, it is Satan's realm. Darkness is also called the gates of hell. Darkness or gates of hell is the kingdom, structure, government, or realm of Satan. Matthew 16:18 Darkness

Spirit, Move!

Genesis 1:1,2 The movement of the Holy Spirit produces signs, wonders, and miracles. The movement of the Holy Spirit brings a creative glory. The Holy Spirit is proactive, He moves, He is dynamic like wind. John 3:8 The Holy Spirit is not dead like some gods or idols some people choose to worship. Psalm 115:5-8 He is a Spirit of action, and He moves to achieve specific purposes. The movement of the Spirit brings order. When the Spirit moves chaos is replaced with order. The movement of the Spirit gives physical and spiritual strength. Judges 14:6 Ephesians 6:10 The movement of the Spirit is the Holy Spirit working. When the Spirit is working, the bitter is made sweet. Exodus 15:23-25 The movement of the Spirit replaces ashes with beauty. Isaiah 61:1-3 The movement of the Spirit replaces fear with faith. 1 John 4:18 Romans 5:5 The movement of the Spirit replaces trouble with peace. John 14:27 The movement of the Spirit of God brings growth which is in line with the kingdom of God, the

GRACE: the God Factor

John 1:14 Jesus was a living, walking, embodiment of the grace of God. He was full of grace. The very words of His mouth were graceful words that were full of grace. Grace is essential to your greatness journey. Every hero of faith in the Bible is a beneficiary of God's grace. 1 Corinthians 15:10 Grace is necessary to make the most of life and to attain greatness. Since grace is so important to our spiritual walk and human life, it is worth understanding what grace is. Some have defined grace as the unmerited favor of God. Others have explained grace to mean God's Riches At Christ's Expense. Some say grace is a mystery of God in a human life. Others say grace is the working of God's Spirit in human lives. All those definitions are part of grace and none of them is wrong. Grace is an all encompassing word, there are many aspects to grace. Grace is from God, and grace can grow. Luke 2:52 John 1:16 Grace can simply be defined as the God factor. Grace is the God factor in

The Chosen Few

Matthew 22:14 It is great grace extended to a human life that a person is called of God. That a person has become a chosen one is a rare grace and mercy that God allows people to determine and aspire to. You are the one who will determine whether you will be one of God's chosen after you have been called like many others have. Everyone who has given their life to the Lord (Jesus Christ) at one time or the other is called, but being called of God is just the beginning of the journey. Your decisions are what determines whether you will transition from being called to being chosen. The chosen are fewer in number than the called, the called have a chance to become the chosen. The chosen are fewer in number than the called, it is as a result of man's choices and decisions not God's wish. The chosen few are those who decide they want to be vessels of honor for God's use. 2 Timothy 2:20,21 Who Are The Chosen Few ? 1) They are those who regularly allow God to cleanse them by H

The God Of All Creation

Psalm 24:1,2 The God of all creation is the God who created the universes, the heavens, and the earth with all it's fullness. The God of all creation is the God who created all the stars in the sky and knows each of them by name, He calls them by name. Psalm 147:4 The God of all creation is the God who controls the winds and has them as His servants. Psalm 135:7 The God of all creation is the Father of all spirits. Hebrews 12:9 The God of all creation is the lover of humanity. John 3:16 The God of all creation is the helper of humanity, He is your helper. Psalm 121:1,2 He can use anything He has created to help you. He can use the earth to help you. Revelation 12:16 He can use His angels to help you. Hebrews 1:14 He can use the wind to help you. Numbers 11:31 He can inspire or direct a human being to help you. Matthew 2:11 He can use animals to help you. 1 Kings 17:6 He can use the stars to fight for you. Judges 5:20 He can use elements like rain, snow, and hailstones to fight for

Thanksgiving: A way of life

1 Thessalonians 5:18,19 Thanksgiving to God is meant to be a way of life for the follower of Jesus Christ, it is the Christian's way of life. It is the will of God for us, it should be our default response to God in every situation and circumstance. We have every reason to be grateful and thankful. It is possible to be grateful and thankful despite the odds stacked against us and the challenges we face in this life. John 15:11 Life will present you with reasons why you shouldn't be grateful and thankful, you will experience physical evidence that doesn't look favorable. Despite this, if your perspective is right you will give God thanks. There are always reasons to give God thanks and there is more working for you than against you. Part of the enemy's tactic is to hinder you from seeing and understanding that. Those who give God the thanks He deserves are often fewer than those who give Him thanks daily. The path of gratitude and thanksgiving is the path of the narrow

Hezekiah's Prayer

Isaiah 38:1-9 The text passage is an insightful story that shows the power and speed of prayer. Hezekiah the king of Judah had an illness that wasn't responding to treatment. Hezekiah overcame his predicament by turning to the right person. King Hezekiah turned to God and he received a positive turnaround in his health. Like king Hezekiah we may find ourselves in situations that are beyond us, we may find ourselves in conditions that defy every form of help we have sought whether it's medical, herbal, therapies, physiotherapy, exercise, or even spiritual help. During such times, who and where you go to for help matters greatly, it will determine whether you overcome what you are going through or not. When God's word came to king Hezekiah through the prophet Isaiah that he would not overcome his sickness but die, he was smart enough to turn to the only person who could heal/help him- God. Many people accept it as their fate when unfortunate reports come to them. People oft

Massive Mercy

James 2:13 The latter times is like the days of Noah. Matthew 24:37 You will need mercy to survive these times, the mercy of God. Mercy is wonderful, mercy is a wonderful virtue, Mercy is also a person. The scriptures show us all the wonderful things the mercy of God can do to a life and destiny. In every generation, individuals and societies have benefitted from the mercy of God. Humanity will always need God's mercy. In Noah's day, Noah found grace with God and he and his family benefitted from God's mercy. 1 Peter 3:20 They were preserved when the known world was perishing. The mercy of God has preservation power . Lamentations 3:22,23 In these times you need God to preserve you. We are in the end times- a tough season spiritually, economically, mentally, and socially upon the earth. As the days of Noah, the end times will be a time when fallen angel interference will be great upon the earth. Spiritually and technologically, this is happening already. We are truly in t

Healing For The Soul

Isaiah 61:1 God has made soul healing available. God heals our emotions, He's made provision for the healing of our souls. He binds up the broken hearted, being broken hearted is an emotional matter. The quality of our lives cannot be better than the state of our souls. Your emotions is a part of your soul. Your reasoning faculty, your mind  is a part of your soul. Your will is a part of your soul. Your will is your ability to be determined, your resolve, the ability to make up your mind and stick with it. A person's mental health whether good or bad is a reflection of the persons soul. Your soul is essential to your salvation. You believe the gospel through your soul- your ability to process information with your mind. Romans 10:10 It is through our soul we feed and nourish our spirit man. Your soul processes information which then reaches the spirit in you. Human beings are made up of their spirit, soul and body. 1 Thessalonians 5:23 Our body cloths our soul and spirit. Your

Expect Mercy

Romans 9:15 You get what you expect. What we expect in our lives matters. Jesus left an instruction for His followers to tarry in Jerusalem until they are endued with power from on high. Luke 24:49 It's only 120 people who expected the enduement with power Jesus spoke about that remained in the upper room. God honored their waiting, God honored their expectation. According to Biblical scholars there were 500 people waiting in the upper room in Jerusalem, with the passage of time they reduced from 500 to 120. This means 380 people missed out on the day of Pentecost. They missed out on the promise of Jesus, they missed out on the fulfillment of prophecy, they missed out on being part of history, they missed out on being part of what is believed to be the birth of the church, they missed out on the supernatural. The 120 who tarried until the promise of Jesus was fulfilled are those who kept their expectation alive. They endured and waited until their expectation of Jesus's promis

Our 9th Anniversary

It is with great pleasure and gratitude to God that your kingdom minded, Jesus focused, teaching ministry turns nine years old. This time, nine years ago, The Light Of Jesus Christ was being born. Glory Halleluyah! It has been nine years of God's faithfulness, God's mercy, and God's support to us as a family and church group. Thanks to everyone who has been part of the journey. You are appreciated. Your well wishes and prayers have gone a long way. We continue to value your support. We covet your prayers at this time. We value your intercession. Much Love!

Mercy For Our Matter

Mark 10:46-52  The story of blind Bartimaeus which our text passage is about is a classic example of the power of the mercy of God. Crying out for the mercy of God is never wasted time. There is no issue of life the mercy of God cannot solve. There is no matter of life the mercy of God cannot tackle. There is no situation beyond the mercy of God. The mercy of God keeps us from the traps of life. God in His mercy gives wisdom to the man He choses to keep, to deliver him from the 'forces' that devalues, reduces, and preys on his life. Proverbs 6:23-29 Mercy changes our story for the better. Mercy is the compassion of God, it is the forbearance of God towards us, it is God being lenient with us. Mercy is what makes God withhold punishment, it is what makes God give forgiveness. The mercy of God is what makes God look away from our sins and gives us a new beginning. Hebrews 8:12 The mercy of God is what makes God not deal with us for our wrong doing as we deserve. Psalm 103:10 Merc

Your Version Of Breakthrough

Micah 2:13 God has the power to break forth on your behalf, leading you into breakthrough as our text passage shows. He goes ahead of His people breaking down hindrances and opposition to our breakthrough. God has a breakthrough for you. What your breakthrough will look like is different from what the breakthrough of another person will look like. Your breakthrough will be unique to you, it will be specifically for you. Breakthroughs are as diverse and different from one another as people are different and unique from one another. In the kingdom of God there is diversity and variety. We are informed in the scriptures that the children of Abraham (people of faith, followers of Jesus) will come from every part of the world for a feast. The feast of the marriage supper of the Lamb. Matthew 8:11 People of different nationalities, different tribes,  different ethnic groups, and different skin color is found in the kingdom of God. Each child of God is unique and God has a tailor made breakt

His Voice & Your Breakthrough

John 10:27 Hearing God's voice is very important to our life and destiny. Jesus likened His followers to sheep, and He referred to Himself as the Shepherd. It is the duty of shepherds to lead, direct and protect the sheep. They lead the sheep to the place of pasture and streams of water. A good shepherd will have the interest of his sheep at heart. Shepherds can be sacrificial, risking their lives to protect the sheep by fighting off wild animals like wolves, bears, snakes and other predators who would like to have the shepherds sheep for a meal. Jesus is the Shepherd of our souls. He is the chief shepherd, the good shepherd, the true shepherd who has given His all for our safety, blessings, and protection. Our direction, guidance, and leading will come from God's voice. God speaks! In God's voice your instruction is found. Instructions make us prosper, especially if the instruction is from God. Proverbs 16:20 Your own unique and exclusive instruction will be given to you

The Waters Of Breakthrough!

2 Samuel 5:20 Breakthrough, according to our text passage is likened to water. David prevailed over his enemies the Philistines by the help of God, he likened that victory to God breaking out like a flood or powerful breach of water. David likened his victory to a breakthrough of water. Through David, God broke out on David's enemies! There's no doubt that water is a very powerful element. If you doubt it, visit a dam and witness the intensity with which water gushes. Visit a beach and watch the power with which the waves of the water splashes unto the shore of the beach on a windy day. David's victory was one that was spectacular in his own sight. He said God gave him breakthrough (in warfare) that was like a breaking forth of water, it was like a powerful flow of water the way God broke out on David's enemies through David. 1 Chronicles 14:11 There are other passages in the scriptures that associate water with breakthrough, success, good fortune, fruitfulness, and pr

The Wonders Of The 4TH Man (2)

Daniel 3:8-30 When you disobey Satan like the three Hebrew boys did in our text passage, he gets angry and seeks to destroy like Nebuchadnezzer  sought to do to those Hebrew boys. The disregard of king Nebuchadnezzer's command to bow to the image he had set up is a disregard of Satan by the Hebrew boys, for it was Satan that was at work in Nebuchadnezzer at the time, it was Satan who was trying to get the worship that belongs to God through Nebuchadnezzer's ego and image. Satan like Nebuchadnezzer wants you to regard him. Nebuchadnezzer's attempt to destroy Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego did not prevail because the 4th Man showed up! When the 4th Man shows up in your fire-like experience the flames of that fire become tamed. Daniel 3:25 When the 4th Man shows up in your fire of affliction and difficulty what killed others will make you. Daniel 3:22-25 When the 4th Man shows up there will be a change of story for the better. Daniel 3:28,29 When the 4th Man shows up there

The Wonders Of The 4th Man

Daniel 3:14-30 We see king Nebuchadnezzer was in a rage and fury against the three Hebrew boys- Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego. Those Hebrew boys found themselves in trouble for doing the right thing, they were in a difficult situation for standing for righteousness, they were to suffer and die for defying an ungodly king who was full of ego. In life you can suffer for doing the right thing, in this world you can find yourself in tight, difficult, or even embarrassing situations because you've refused to 'bow down' to Satan. The enemy can become enraged and angry with you, the enemy can come at you because you have defied him and done the right thing. It is not every suffering that is due to sin. The disciples of Jesus once saw a blind man and asked Jesus who had sinned the blind man or his parents, they assumed suffering is naturally the consequence of sin or some kind of generational curse. This way of thinking is prevalent today in Christian circles. Jesus responded

Let Your Altar Speak!

1 Kings 3:4,5 What young king Solomon did on the altar at Gibeon 'spoke' throughout his life. It was after Solomon sacrificed unto God at an altar God appeared to him in a dream of the night. His sacrifice summoned God, and led to Solomon's distinction. It was after Elijah rebuilt the altar of the Lord and sacrificed to God on it that fire descended from heaven. 1 kings 18:30-39 Every altar has a voice and every altar speaks. Revelation 16:7 Every altar has a covenant that works with it, and altars which are broken down can be rebuilt. 1 kings 18:30-33 Due to the cross of calvary and the process that led to the cross, the blood of Jesus speaks in Zion and at all the altars where the name of the Lord is called. Every true church or ministry has an altar before the Lord. It is a spiritual altar God recognises and associates with that work. The covenant God has with a church is connected to the church's spiritual altar. Matthew 21:13 Revelation 5:8 Revelation 8:3 The spi

The Power Of An Altar

Exodus 20:24 An altar can be good or bad depending on the purpose of the altar and the spirit forces the altar is used to serve or invoke. An altar is a point of supernatural activity, a spot where spiritual transactions are going on. Numbers 23:1-3 Altars are powerful and can be life changing. A life or a destiny can be made or destroyed before an altar. On an altar communities, regions, and nations can be blessed or cursed. What is done on an altar can affect the coming generations positively or negatively. Noah sacrificed on an altar and it made God change His mind about the earth, removing His curse on the earth.. Genesis 8:20,21 God has great respect unto the place of the altar because an altar is a spot/place where sacrifice goes on. Altars started in heaven, God has an altar before Him in heaven, a golden altar. Revelation 9:13 Sacrifices move spirits, whether good or bad spirits. God responds to sacrifice. Psalm 51:17 The power of an altar is determined by the kind of sacrific
