Supernatural Rewards

1 Corinthians 9:24 Life can be likened to a race, after the race comes the reward. God is not a user or abuser, God doesn't use and dump people. God is a rewarder, God is in the business of rewarding people. God rewards us in this lifetime. Matthew 19:29 God also rewards us in eternity. James 1:12 God's rewards manifest in our physical realm, His rewards start from the spirit dimension. The kingdom of God which the believer has been translated to, has a reward system. Matthew 6:33 Throughout the scriptures we see God rewarding people. God rewards our endurance towards Him and towards His cause. Matthew 24:13 God rewards our honoring His kingdom and righteousness. Matthew 6:33 God rewards our respecting His presence. 2 Samuel 6:11-15 God is not a commander or task master who sends his soldiers or servants out into battle without giving them from the spoils of war. It is not God's will that we identify with Him, suffer for His sake, and go unrewarded. This time of the year i

Supernatural Loyalty

2 Timothy 2:13 If God denies His people He has denied Himself. God cannot deny Himself. God is faithful and loyal. God is fiercely loyal to those who are in covenant with Him. The supernatural God is supernaturally loyal. John 15:13 God regards loyalty to His people as loyalty to Himself. You can be assured God will come through for you if you are in covenant relationship with Him through Jesus Christ. Romans 8:32 A strategy of the enemy is to create doubt in you, he wants you to doubt God. The enemy would have you doubt God's love, God's goodness, God's faithfulness, and God's loyalty to you. The enemy is a manipulator. He will manipulate situations, circumstances, and inspire people to mistreat you so that you'll blame God for it. The enemy wants you to murmur and complain. He played such a game with the Israelites as they journeyed to the promised land.  Unfortunately the Israelites took the bait, God got angry with the Israelites and many of them fell. We have

Supernatural Endurance

Matthew 24:13 Enduring for the right reason, the right person, or the right cause, brings about great rewards. It takes courage and endurance to keep going when you have every reason to give up. The times preceding the coming of the Lord which we are in will require your endurance. The picture the Bible paints of the state of the world before the return of the Lord, which is what is playing out before us, is one of dark times. From natural disasters to the state of men's hearts, men's actions, wars, and rumors of wars, many things are not encouraging about the state of our world. Matthew 24 Daily, disturbing information which is not edifying fills our tabloids, social media space, and the news on radio and television. You will need a daily dose of strength, and endurance to get through the times we are in. Courage, strength, and endurance is available by God's Spirit, the Spirit of might. Isaiah 11:2 The Holy Spirit supplies persistence, strength, courage, and endurance a

Supernatural Recovery

1 Samuel 30:8-19 Our text passage is one of supernatural recovery. David the king enjoyed supernatural recovery as we see from our text passage, his recovering of all that was stolen from him and his men was guided by God. God can enable you to recover from everything negative that the enemy and life's tough circumstances has thrown at you. God also gives grace for amazing and supernatural recoveries from medical conditions, traumas, accidents, and all sorts of health issues. Through God you can recover in your spirit man, your soul, and your body. God is the one who can and who gives healing and wholeness of the spirit, soul, and body. 1 Thessalonians 5:23 God brings back to life that which was dead. The power of life and creation is with God. You are able to make a full recovery in any area of your life through Jesus Christ where you need it. God is still the same. God granted king Hezekiah the grace to recover from his health condition and granted him fifteen more years to live

Supernatural Empowerment

Matthew 3:11 John the Baptist was clear about it, the baptism of Jesus is superior and better than his own. John baptized with water, which is good, but Jesus baptizes with the Holy Spirit and fire which is better. God has something better for you! God is a God who always has something better. Isaiah 60:17 Baptism empowers spiritually, baptism empowers supernaturally. God has made provision for your empowerment. The Father did so through Jesus Christ. A part of the reason Jesus came is to empower you. Jesus came that you may be blessed, to be blessed is to be empowered to succeed. We are empowered through a baptism into Jesus Christ. It was after John's water baptism the heavens opened and the Holy Spirit alighted upon Jesus in the manner of a dove. Luke 3:21,22 Jesus was empowered supernaturally to fulfill His ministry and destiny after He was baptized. Luke 3:23 The baptism of Jesus Christ (with the Holy Spirit and fire) empowers you to fulfill your life's assignment and de

Supernatural Messengers

Mark 16:17,18 God has messengers in both human and celestial form. The Bible informs about messengers of God who brought the signs, wonders, and miracles of God to those they were sent to. Each child of God has been called to a supernatural life, a life of signs following. We are called to be supernatural messengers of God. Jesus Christ (God in flesh) is the chief of all supernatural messengers. Jesus is a part of God who came to the earth to bring the supernatural and good news of the kingdom of God to humanity. Angels (celestial beings) are supernatural messengers who are on assignment from our heavenly Father to bring good tidings to us, help us, protect us, minister to us, and minister for us. They are servants of God in the sense that they serve God, they are also sons of God in the fact that God created them, they are Bonafide members of the kingdom of God. They can also bring judgement or death at God's instruction against those who have run out of favor with God or are aga

Supernatural Names

Proverbs 18:10 The scripture informs from our text passage that the name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous run into it and they are saved.  The Lord's name protects, the Lord's name can be accessed (used), the Lord's name brings salvation. That is supernatural! The name of the Lord is supernatural, and it does supernatural things. Jesus Christ (Yeshua Hamaschiah) is the Lord. God has a number of names, these names reveal the character, nature, and titles of God. Each name of God is supernatural and can work wonders when applied in prayer through Jesus's name. God's names are for His people to know and use. Each name of God is a revelation of God. Let's consider a number of the names of God in Hebrew. God's name is Jehovah (Yahweh)- Exodus 6:3 God's name is Yahweh Yahweh means the self-existent One. God's name is El-Shaddai El-Shaddai means the Almighty. Exodus 6:3 God's name is Jehovah-Rapha Jehovah-Rapha means the Lord our healer.

Call For The Supernatural

James 4: 2, 3 Our text passage reveals we do not have certain things because we simply did not ask for them in prayer. What we ask for is what we get, as long as it is within God's will, God's word. John 15:7 There are certain experiences we will not have because we did not ask for them. Most people do not dare to ask God for certain things and experiences because they do not believe God wants them to have those things. Some people think and feel God doesn't care, though they believe there is a God out there somewhere. There are other people who don't ask God for things they want and need because they don't know the will of God or understand it. There's also a category of people who don't ask God for certain blessings or experiences because they don't believe in God, they don't believe God exists. Nature has revealed to us God exists. Job 12:7-10 Archaeology has revealed to us God exists. Science, when looked to for the origin of creation cannot ex

Miracles Of Mercy

Mark 10:46-52 Blind Bartimaeus received a miracle of mercy. Jesus the Christ is the mercy of God personified. We see from the Bible account of the Blind Bartimaeus story that he cried out to God for mercy, and he received the miracle of new eyes, which he needed and never had prior to his miracle. Everyone who received a miracle from Jesus as documented in the Bible, got their miracles on the virtue of mercy, Jesus's mercy. When God pities a person or people, or has compassion on a person or people, that is mercy. Isaiah 49:15 The mercy of God precedes the miracles of mercy. The mercy of God brings miracles, deliverance, healing, favor, blessings, and freedom. Acts 10:38 The mercy of God completes you. The mercy of God supplies what you need. The mercy of God came to Blind Bartimaeus in answer to his cry for mercy. Everyone Jesus had mercy on received a miracle. Matthew 15:32-39 The cry for mercy (prayer) precedes the miracle of mercy. Mercy changes our life stories for the bette

The Supernatural Seed

John 12: 24,25 The concept of seeds started with God. Seed planting and its subsequent process of germination, growth, and fruit bearing is God's wisdom. God is all-wise and knowledgeable. The seed brings about continuity, sustainability, fruitfulness, and harvests. Genesis 1:11 God is a supernatural God. John 4:24 Jesus is God's supernatural seed. He is the supernatural seed of God that has germinated salvation, justification, redemption, sanctification, and glorification for the saints. He is the supernatural seed whose death and resurrection grants us access into the presence of our heavenly Father. Hebrews 10:19-22 Jesus is the supernatural seed who has raised sons for God among human beings. Hebrews 2:10 Jesus is the supernatural seed whose germination/resurrection brought gifts to men. Ephesians 4:8 He is the supernatural seed whose sacrifice reconciles men to God. Romans 5:10 Seeds ensure continuity and sustainability. The trees of the world continue to exist from gener

The Blood, The Supernatural

Hebrews 10:19 The blood of Jesus gives us the boldness, and a confidence to enter the most holy place, God presence! The blood of Jesus Christ is our access to the supernatural. It is our ticket to the holiest of holies, the presence of the heavenly Father where the supernatural occurs. God is Spirit, God is supernatural. The blood that poured out of the body of Jesus when He was pierced with a spear on what I believe is His right-hand side was His life gushing out for you and me. "The life of a thing is in its blood" Leviticus 17:11 Blood and water came out of the side of Jesus. John 19:34 Water is symbolic of life. Revelation 22:1 The blood and water that came out of His side is His life poured out for us as a sacrifice. The question is what kind of life was sacrificed by God to bless us, what kind of life was in Jesus the Christ? The life Jesus lived on earth was a supernatural life. This is seen from the prophesies preceding His birth. Luke 1:35 Isaiah 7:14 Jesus's m

The Supernatural Soldier

2 Timothy 2:3-5 Anyone who is a citizen of God's kingdom is a soldier, our text passage shows us that. In Christ Jesus we are part of the army of God. God's military team, soldiers of Christ. There are similarities between physical soldiers and the spiritual soldiers that we are in Christ. There are things we see about the nature, lifestyle, and efforts of soldiers in this natural realm that applies to us, that we can learn from as spiritual soldiers. A major quality of soldiers, good soldiers, is their loyalty to the nation they come from or represent. We are from the kingdom of God in Christ Jesus; we are members of a holy nation! 1 Peter 2:9 The kingdom of God is a supernatural kingdom and God has given us the kingdom. Luke 12:32 If the kingdom of God is supernatural and you are a soldier from God's kingdom it means you are a supernatural soldier. Soldiers have ranks, positions, assigned posts and orders they follow. You have a kingdom rank, a kingdom assignment, a pla

The "Suddenlies" Of God

Acts 2:1-4 Our God is a God of 'suddenlies' who can work sudden signs, wonders, and miracles in our lives. The day of Pentecost, which some believe and would debate was the birth of the church, was a sudden moment, "Suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a mighty wind" A remarkable occurrence took place before the conception and birth of John the Baptist. Suddenly, angel Gabriel appeared to Zechariah the husband of Elizabeth and subsequent father of John the Baptist as he served in God's presence by burning incense in the Lord's temple. Luke 1:8-20 Anyone who is doing God's will can receive a 'suddenly' miracle from God. Anyone serving God faithfully despite the odds can have a life changing and sudden encounter like Zechariah the priest had. What had been impossible in Zechariah the priest and his wife Elizabeth's life, suddenly became possible because of a sudden angelic encounter God granted him. Cornelius was a generous man who gave

Trails Of Fire

Judges 15:1-5 There are lessons/parallels we can gather from the 300 foxes Samson released into the Philistine fields after setting them on fire, as seen in our text message. Samson's wife had been given to another man while he was away shortly after they got married, she was given to a Philistine man who played the role of best man/friend to Samson on his wedding day. This was done by Samson's father under Philistine influence so as to spite Samson, since Samson had taken a wife from the Philistines, the enemy camp. The foxes Samson used to get vengeance on the Philistines are an example of how we should be for God. The foxes were used as weapons by Samson. You should be a weapon in the hands of your creator . Jeremiah 51:20 The foxes were alive when Samson used them, dead foxes would be of no use to Samson. God has kept you alive so that you will be useful to Him . Psalm 30:9 The foxes Samson used to destroy the farmlands of the Philistines were lit with fire. It is God's

Air Power

Revelations 12:13,14 The two wings of a great eagle given to the woman from our text passage above was given to her by God to help her escape the enemy. God is the one who makes a way of escape for us. For this woman he made a way of escape for her through the air. Wings empower us to dominate the sky. Man was given the blessing to dominate, a mandate to have dominion over land, sea, and the sky. Man was created with the intention and instruction to have dominion over the fish of the sea (marine, aquatic, water realm), the birds of the air (the heavens, sky, atmosphere, wind) and over cattle, over all the earth, over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth (land, terrafirma, animals) Genesis 1:26 It is God-like power to have dominion over the air/wind. This was why the disciples of Jesus marveled at Jesus when He rebuked the wind and the sea, by doing so He showed His dominion over the sky and the sea. The word of God works in all three realms- sky, land, and sea. There are ange

On The Wings Of The Eagle

Exodus 19:4 God used the illustration of the eagle to explain how He upheld the Israelites as they journeyed out of Egypt. Deuteronomy 32:9-11 The eagle is a remarkable bird, it is the only bird God identifies with in the scriptures. There are other birds mentioned in the scriptures- the raven, the pelican, the vulture, the owl, the ostrich, the rooster, and the sparrow. It's only in the eagle God finds qualities that are worthy enough to associate with His being. Four living creatures from the presence of God were seen by Ezekiel the priest in a vision and they had four faces each, the face of an eagle was one of the four faces. Ezekiel 1:4-10 The eagle is a big bird who has a very wide wingspan. The eagle is also a very smart bird who knows how to use the large wings it has effectively. Just like the eagle, we have a responsibility to use what God has given us in smart and effective ways- our time, gifts, talents, abilities, and treasures. The wings of the eagle acts as a shade

Supernatural Change

2 Samuel 6:10-12 God brought a tangible, noticeable change to Obed-Edom and his household by blessing them as a result of His presence. In the presence of God there is blessing, the blessing manifests as a positive supernatural change! God knows the importance of a positive supernatural change in the life of people, His people, those who are connected to Him by the covenant of the blood of Jesus. Everyone needs a change every now and then. Change is a necessity for humanity, it is a need, a certainty, and part of God's program for you. Daniel 2:21 God has a positive change for you! God wants you to be hopeful in what has become a dark world. 1 Peter 3:15 A supernatural change from God is a positive thing. A positive change answers to a positive hope in God. Romans 4:18 A supernatural change answers to supernatural hope. A supernatural change answers to supernatural faith. Romans 4:3-5 A supernatural change answers to supernatural love. 1 John 4:16 God works with our hope, faith, a

Supernatural Consciousness

2 Kings 6:16-19 There is an entire realm of the supernatural many are not acquainted with. Jesus Christ is the root of believers. Supernatural is what our roots are as believers. Jesus is our door, our plug, our root to the supernatural. We need this consciousness. Without this consciousness, the supernatural doesn't work for us. There's a link between our identity and our supernatural life. Our identity has a lot to do with our consciousness. We need to be conscious of who we are in God. We need to be aware of our supernatural covenant connection to our supernatural God. The blood of Jesus gave us a new covenant with God, which is supernatural. 1 Corinthians 11:25 Knowing and being sure of our identity in God makes the supernatural life become normal for us. Gideon had a divine encounter that changed his identity. This led to a supernatural awareness of God's presence and might within Gideon to carry out his life's assignment. He moved from fear and doubt to confidenc

Supernatural Weapons

2 Corinthians 10:14 The believer is equipped with spiritual weapons, though not carnal or tangible physically their supernatural effect is not to be denied, they have tangible effects. That we weapons of our warfare are not seen with the physical eyes does not mean they are less effective than physical weapons. In most situations spiritual weapons do a cleaner, thorough, and more effective job than physical weapons. Spiritual weapons are powerful enough to pull down strongholds. Weapons are instruments of offense and defense we use for our protection and victory during battles. God in His wisdom knows the importance of weapons and He's equipped His people with supernatural weapons adequately. In the animal kingdom, animals have been given survival abilities by the Creator. It is usually an instinct to protect themselves or to hunt for food. Many of them have physical attributes that act as weapons. As it is with the physical, it is usually so in the spiritual. There are spiritual

Supernatural Skills

Exodus 31:1-5 God gave Bezalel wisdom and creative skill for the building of the temple. This glorified God. Skills are necessary for all areas of life, they are essential for us to make the most of life. God is the giver of ability, know-how, expertise, and skill. He gave David skill on the battlefield, skill to play the harp, skill to write poems and psalms, God also gave King David leadership skills. God was the one who trained David. Psalm 144:1 God graces some people with manifold skills, David was one of them. David was a man of many attributes due to God gracing him with skills to function in many capacities. David functioned in the prophetic, he functioned as a priest, he functioned as a king, he functioned as a warrior, he functioned as a shepherd, and he functioned as a writer. David had skill as a nation builder, a unifier, and as a statesman. He was known as the sweet psalmist of Israel due to his skillful ability to compose and minister songs of worship to God. 2 Samuel 2

Divine Acceleration

1 Kings 18:44-48 There are times we need speed in life. The fulfilment of our purpose/destiny can depend on it, since we live in a realm/world where a lot has to do with time. Things happen in life that slow us down, that make us move at a slower pace than God intended for us. If you foresee you won't make it at the pace you are moving in life, you need divine acceleration. Isaiah 60:22 God is a giver of speed. God can give you speed in the aspect or area of life you need it. God's zeal brings speed. Isaiah 9:7 This speed will get you to the destination you should get to on time. John 6:21 The enemy has a tactic of putting delays and denials on people. The Bible informs us the enemy is the one who puts resistance, obstacles, fatigue, and all sorts of walls along our spiritual and natural path to wear us out and slow us down. A right perspective to have is to see the obstacles, impediments, and resistance the enemy brings your way as "shadows" meant to distract you. D

The Anointing & The Fire

Matthew 3:11 The anointing in the believer is no ordinary or mere human influence. The fire of God upon and within the believer is no earthly power. Jesus Christ is the one who baptizes with the Holy Spirit (anointing) and fire (power). The fire of God enhances our evangelism and kingdom outreach. Acts 1:8 Acts 2:1-3 The anointing produces exploits, direction, guidance, inspiration, and activates spiritual gifts. The anointing is part of that which is heavenly in our earthly frame. The anointing is the working of the Holy Spirit's grace and deposit within you. The fire of God does a work of purification, protection, empowerment, and deliverance for and within the believer. It changes men, transforms ministries, and strengthens us in our weak areas. The exploits we see from the life of Samson as recorded in the scriptures is the work of the anointing. It was the dimension of the Holy Spirit known as the Spirit of might that was at work in Samson. Isaiah 11:2 I pray for you, that yo

The Fruits & Gifts Of The Spirit

James 1:17 God gives good and perfect gifts. God is a giver, nature shows us this and the Bible confirms it. Romans 1:20 God has given to humanity "everything it needs for life and godliness" 2 Peter 1:3 The scriptures show us a major way to receive in life, especially from God is to ask. God in His benevolence gives gifts, in His generosity He also makes us fruitful. The new creation should be gifted and fruitful. The gifts and fruits of the Spirit are given for a reason, for a purpose. The gifts and fruits of the spirit balance one another. There's a correlation between the gifts of the Spirit and the fruits of the Spirit. The fruits of the Spirit are qualities that help us manage the gifts of the Spirit . The gifts of the Spirit compliment the fruits of the Spirit. The fruits of the Spirit manage the gifts of the Spirit. The fruits of the Spirit brings spiritual maturity while the gifts of the Spirit brings about spiritual exploits. The gifts of the Spirit brings pr

The Powers Of The Age To Come!

Hebrews 6:4,5 The powers of the age to come is kingdom power, it is power from the kingdom of God. It is power beyond that which is human or earthly. It is the God kind of power that was at work in Jesus Christ while He was on earth. It is the kind of power at work in the angels of God to bless or to bring judgement to people God has assigned them to. It is the kind of power in the new creation. The powers of the age to come is for the demonstration of the kingdom of God, and the manifestation of God's will. The powers of the age to come is the working of the Holy Spirit's powers through a human vessel. Acts 19:12 Every believer has "tasted" of the powers of the age to come. It is the power that made you a son of God. John 1:12 The powers of the age to come manifests as rights, authority, signs, wonders, and miracles. It is the power that will turn the entire world into a paradise during the 1000 years reign of Christ on earth. Revelation 20:1-3 The spiritual gifts

The King Of Glory!

Psalm 24:7-10 God is a God of many attributes. He is a Father, the Father of all spirits. Hebrews 12:9 God is a man of war, a consuming fire, the provider, our refuge, our high tower, our anchor, our shield, our reward, the I AM, love, amongst many other titles and attributes. From the pool of many qualities, attributes, names, and manifold dimensions of God, there is perhaps no title that reveals God more than the title of "King of glory" God is the King. Since God has the kingdom, He is King. Revelation 19:16 God's kingdom is one of His biggest priorities. Matthew 6:13 This is why John the Baptist and Jesus Christ came with messages about the kingdom of God. Matthew 4:23, Matthew 3:1,2 The glory of God encapsulates what and who God is. The word glory is from the word "kabod" which refers to full weight, heaviness, and totality. It's a Hebrew word. Kabod or glory of God is the full strength, power, ability, weight, honor, significance and magnificence of G

God's Treasured Possession

Deuteronomy 7:6 The children of Israel were chosen as a treasure unto God. It is an awesome privilege to be a treasured possession of God. This is who and what God wants us to be to Him. For this reason, God has extended that privilege to humanity. Through Jesus Christ, you can be as close to God as you wish to be. James 4:8 Through the mercy and grace of God that is Jesus Christ you can be God's treasured possession like the children of Israel are. We humans value our treasures, we stay where our treasures are, our hearts are where our treasure is. God is the same. When you become His special treasure or treasured possession, God will come and dwell with you because His heart is towards you. John 14:23 Matthew 6:21 To become a treasured possession of God, you have to be chosen, to be chosen is to accept Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 2:9 To be God's treasured possession is to be called, if you accept Jesus Christ as Lord and savior, you are called. The honor of being God's treasur

The Spoken Blessing

Numbers 6: 22 to 27 Our text passage shows us an ancient blessing the priests used to speak over the congregation/assembly of God's people, verse twenty two and twenty three shows us they are blessings that God gave as words to Moses for the priests to bless the nation. With God given words, the priests blessed the people, and the people became blessed! Those words carried the blessing and the presence of God with them. The words 'stuck' to the people as the priests declared them over the people, and the nation of Israel prospered. In Christ Jesus we are priests, and as priests we can bless ourselves and others by speaking these words and praying them over our life and over the life of others. 1 Peter 2:9 There are great blessings in the spoken words of an individual God has anointed to bless His people. There are great blessings in your words as well. Blessings are meant to be declared and released through the mouth. Genesis 1:28 The Bible has a lot to say about words. Th

Cast Your Net

John 21:4-6 T here will usually be an instruction that precedes your miracle harvest from God. You have your own role to play in receiving or harvesting what God has for you. God does not do for us, what He expects us to do ourselves. Peter and the other disciples in the boat received a miracle catch from God as the text passage above shows. There are lessons we can glean from how they received from Jesus the Christ. 1. They were instructed, and they obeyed. 2. These disciples received their harvest of a miracle catch while they were on the job. 3. They cast their net. Just like Peter and the other fishermen disciples were, we have to be sensitive to God's instruction and be ready to obey it when it comes. Jesus showed up on the seashore and gave those disciples an instruction when they were not expecting it. God's word can come to you at anytime and at any moment, when it comes what will you do with it? When God's word comes to you, will you discern it? When God's wor

At Thy Word

Luke 5: 4 - 9 Our text passage shows us the impact of God's word. The word of God can surprise or astonish you with the results it produces. It has been commonly said in Christian circles that  "one word from God can change your life forever"  This is a very true saying. A very acceptable saying. The words of Jesus Christ are the words of God. At the word of Jesus, the supernatural happens. At the word of Jesus, mighty things  happen. At the word of Jesus, wonders happen. At the word of Jesus, miracles occur. Peter needed a harvest, he needed a breakthrough, he needed results. He had worked for it, he had toiled, he had done what he knew to do, after all Peter was an experienced fisherman. Despite Peter's experience and hard work, Peter didn't have the breakthrough he sought on the job. Many people are like Peter in a sense. They are good and experienced at what they do. They have put in the work, they have followed the rules, they got the education, the qualific

The Elevated Life

Ephesians 2:4-6 The heavenly realms is the realm where the believer, the true follower of Jesus Christ is positioned in Christ Jesus. Jesus Christ is highly placed, and we (sons of God) are positioned in Him. Spiritually, sons of God are highly placed. We are placed far above the principalities, powers, rulers of this world, elemental spirits, challenges, setbacks, evil, and bewitchment found in this world. Ephesians 1:19-22 What God has done in His sons (believers/born again people) is a work of power! By the mighty power of God we (sons of God) are spiritually elevated! This elevation is a result of God's love and grace towards us. This spiritual positioning of the saints is the outcome of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The elevated life is the life the believer is called to, as a result of Jesus's resurrection from the dead. Followers of Jesus Christ, sons of God, are not ordinary people. They are sons of God after all. John 1:12,13 A benefit of being aware of our elevat

God & The Power Of His Might

Ephesians 6:10 Today's text passage above shows us there is strength in the Lord, there is might in the Lord, and there is power in the Lord. God's might is powerful! In the Lord there is might. Power and might is domiciled in the believer. God gives the spirit of might.  The spirit of might is one of the dimensions of the Holy Spirit. Isaiah 11:2 God raises mighty men. 1 Samuel 2:8 The hand of God is mighty. 1 Peter 5:6 The power of God is mighty. Ephesians 6:10 God is our mighty rock, our refuge. Psalm 62:7 God is a mighty warrior. Zephaniah 3:17 The resurrection of Christ is testament to the mightiness of God. It's by power, God's power that the resurrection took place. Philippians 3:10 God is the One who groomed David from being a shepherd boy to becoming a skilled fighter on the battle field, a mighty warrior. Psalm 144:1 God's power was the power at work in Samson. Samson was God's weapon in the form of a one man army through the Spirit of might. Judges 1

Intention (2)

2 Samuel 7:1-16 Our text passage shows us an insight that brought blessings into King David's life.  King David desired to build a house for God, it was his intention and this pleased God. God honored David's good intention towards God's presence (the ark of the covenant), He did so through David's son- King Solomon. Kind Solomon went on to build what is perhaps the most glorious and expensive temple ever built for the Lord. 1 Kings 6:1-14 It all started with a godly intention, King David's intention. Your intention can also please God. David's intention brought glory to God. God wants to honor your godly intentions as He honored David's intention. Your intention emanates from your heart and gives strength to your imagination. What you intend is what you will most likely imagine. Whatever a people intend, imagine, and work together in unity to achieve will be accomplished. Genesis 11:4-6 Your intention can become your focus, when this focus is given illum

Intention

Daniel 1:8 Your intention is what you aim to do, what you intend, or plan. Our intention matters. It matters because it comes from the heart, and God deals with our hearts. Serving God and living for God in a world system where everything possible will come against your relationship with God is something we have to be intentional about. Your intention can get you blessed. Your intention is from your heart, and the heart is what God looks at. 1 Samuel 16:7 Your intention matters because we are relating with a God who knows the secrets of the heart. Psalm 44:21 God knows the thoughts and intents of our heart. God's word discerns the thoughts and intents of our hearts. Hebrews 4:12 God knows if you plan to do His will or not. God knows if you intend to please Him. God knows if Jesus or His kingdom message is your aim. God cannot be mocked or deceived. He is a God before whom all things are made plain.
