The Greatest Event

Hebrews 11:3-38 A lot has happened under the sun. The flood during Noah's time, the splitting of the red sea, fire falling from heaven as a result of Elijah's prayer, the resurrection of legions of armies as prophet Ezekiel  prophesied, Jesus raising people from the dead, a teenage boy (David) killing Goliath, and God creating the man and forming the woman. These were all great events and occurrences in their time. We have had the first world war, the second world war, the rise of the Roman empire, the Persian empire, the Babylonian empire, the French revolution and the holocaust. Many great occurrences and events are still happening and will still happen in our world on social, economic, political, and spiritual levels. The Bible confirms this. Matthew 24: 3-42 The greatest occurrence or event that has ever happened did not have the attention of the media or paparazzi. There was no red carpet rolled out for this event, no fancy dresses or costumes on display, the

The Amazing Benefits Of Discernment

John 1:47 Discernment is the ability to see beyond the exterior, beyond what is on the outside and the facade of man. The ability to discern gives you a unique perspective. Discernment  makes you see beyond the pretense, the hypocrisy, the lies, and the evil motivations of man. Discernment is a gift from God that helps with understanding why a person or people have come into your life and what their intentions are. Discernment  makes you see people for what they really are . The ability to discern is a most useful gift and it's one of the 9 gifts of the Spirit of God. 1 Corinthians 12:7-11 The scripture records about God's ability  to discern. Hebrews 4:13 A balanced and thorough understanding of God's Word brings discernment. Through the Word we can discern. Hebrews 4:12 When things, people, ideas, offers, and opportunities do not align with the Word of God we can discern what to do about them. Our responsibility is to get ourselves well aligned with the

The Resurrection Breakthrough

John  11: 25,26 The resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead is the greatest miracle recorded in the Bible. Mark 16:6 It is a breakthrough of a magnitude that can't be quantified. Jesus's death and resurrection is a physical and spiritual breakthrough. Matthew 27:51 Jesus's resurrection is the greatest miracle not only because the dead came back to life but because of it's impact on the past, present, the future, and eternity. If there was no resurrection there will be no salvation, redemption, justification and reconciliation. The resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead is the greatest miracle and breakthrough, not just because a dead man came back to life, but because of the 'quality' of the man who came back to life and the purpose behind it. The man Jesus is a part of the Godhead and God in human flesh.  John 1:14 Jesus's resurrection split time, changed the course of history, and gave men hope. A living hope. 1 Peter 1:3 In a sens

Keep Faith Alive!!!

Luke 18:1-8 The times we are in calls for faith. We are in times where there is a lot of tension, anxiety, fear, challenges, and uncertainty in the world and with individuals. We will not be wrong to believe we are in a 'dark' time in the world. Matthew 24:3-14 In darkness, light is needed. In these times, faith is light in a dark world. We have a responsibility to keep faith alive. In times like this many will give up on God. In times like these, many will also come to God. Hold on to your faith. Revelation 3:11 Maintain your place in faith. This is not the time to give up. We have to hold on to the faith we were given and that we have been growing over time. Romans  12:3 Keep faith alive! You can give up on your faith, it's possible. You can neglect your faith, it's possible. Unfortunately, many who are already in the faith will do so. 1 Timothy 4:1 Don't neglect your faith, keep faith alive. Jesus asked a very important question - &q
