As It Is In Heaven

Matthew 6:10 There is a connection between God's kingdom, God's will, and heaven. The will of God is what  happens in heaven, it's what God wants happening to you and in you on earth. The will of God is not exactly hard to know and find out. If we can get 'pictures' of heaven from the scriptures we will have an idea of what happens in heaven and what we should be doing here on earth in line with heaven. By pictures of heaven, I'm referring to a revelation and understanding of heaven from the pages of the scriptures. The blue print for our lives is with God and God's realm is heaven. The will and purpose of God for our lives must be revealed from heaven. We need a revelation of heaven . The presence and working of heaven in a life and on earth is what is known as God's kingdom. The kingdom of God is in our midst now, it is within us. Luke 17:21 If you are in Christ, the will of God will be sensed and known from within you by you because the Spirit of Go

Deliver Us From Evil

Matthew 6:11 The scripture is clear that God is the one who truly delivers. In the Lord's prayer we see Jesus asking His disciples to pray for deliverance from evil. Some Bible translations read "deliver us from the evil one". Satan is the evil one. 1 John 5:19 If there was no enemy (evil one) there will be no need for deliverance as there will be no evil. There is evil in the world because the evil one is on the earth. Revelation 12:7-9 The devil's presence on earth resists the will of God and causes unfavorable circumstances and situations. Matthew 16:23 For these reasons, there's a need for the ministry of deliverance. The ministry of deliverance was a crucial aspect of the ministry of Jesus Christ. Deliverance is simply to be set free or rescued. The word deliverance connotes being released from the grip or clutches of someone, something, or circumstances that is beyond us. Deliverance is an entitlement and benefit of citizens of God's kingdom. Obadiah 1:

Your Daily Bread

Matthew 6:11 In the text passage above Jesus showed us our daily bread is something to ask for in prayer. He also showed that prayer is meant to be a daily occurrence. It is important to ask God for your daily bread. Jesus taught us to ask for our daily bread. Your daily bread is a benefit you ask for. Your daily bread is your daily benefit. When we consider bread according to the scriptures it connotes provision. Jesus referred to healing as bread. Jesus paid the price for our healing. Isaiah 53:5 Daily bread is everything God wants you to have within a day - healing, salvation, prosperity, joy, peace, righteousness etc Bread according to scripture does not refer merely to food, though food is part of your daily bread. Psalm 103:5, Exodus 23:25 Jesus said His meat (food) is to do the will of the Father and finish the work He was sent. John 4:31-34 Part of your daily bread is your daily portion of responsibility, your responsibility for the kingdom of God. Another part of your daily b

The Spirit Of The Lord

1 Samuel 16:12,13 There is a dimension of God's Spirit that makes kings out of men! This dimension brings royalty to individuals or families who are not previously connected to royalty. This dimension of the Holy Ghost is a real destiny enhancer! There are dimensions to God's Spirit. Isaiah 11:2 The Spirit of God manifests in His seven dimensions when He is before the Father's throne. Revelations 4:2-5 The idea and concept of royalty is from God. God is presented in the scriptures as a King. The Father (God) is usually depicted as sitting on a throne. Revelation 3:21 It is kings who sit on thrones. God is the King of all kings. God is the one who makes kings. Daniel 2:21 God is a Spirit, since God is a Spirit and He is the One who chooses and makes kings, He anoints for kingship through His Spirit. The dimensions in God's Spirit are qualities every king needs. There is a dimension in the Holy Spirit that is necessary for kingship, it is this dimension of the 7 spirits

The Journey Of Faith

Psalm 119:105 Faith is needed for the journey of life. Life is meant to be a journey of faith. Too many people live by what they feel. see, touch, smell, and hear and that's why they haven't been stable in their faith or spiritual walk. Many have limited life to the physical senses, and perhaps they shouldn't be blamed, that is what they have known all their lives and perhaps what they have been taught. Faith is beyond the senses of touch, smell, sight, taste, or hearing. The discipline needed to live a life of faith or go on a journey of faith is just not there for many. It takes discipline to walk with God and be all we should be in life. It's necessary to be disciplined about how we spend or invest our time. It's necessary to be disciplined with our money/finances. It's necessary to be disciplined before God and in the place of prayer. It's necessary to discipline our body. It's not always everything the body demands that we have to give it, or else

All Things Are Possible

Romans 8:11 The resurrection of Jesus is proof that all things are possible with God. The resurrection of Jesus has many implications and positive benefits for humanity. There is nothing impossible when God is involved, The life and ministry of Jesus is testament to the fact that all things are possible with God. Everything about Jesus was miraculous. Some of the most impossible situations and scenarios are seen on the pages of the scriptures. In the Bible we see many  impossible cases become possible. A virgin lady getting pregnant is an impossible situation becoming possible. Isaiah 7:14 In the life and ministry of men like Moses, Elijah, and Elisha  we see God making the impossible possible. Jesus demonstrating unusual wisdom beyond the age of a twelve year old when He was twelve years old is evidence of God's possibility power. Luke 2:45-47 The signs, wonders, and miracles seen through Jesus are evidence that with God all things are possible. John 3:2 Luke 5:17-26 The forgive

Blessed To Triumph!

1 Corinthians 15:57 We are called to be victorious. Through Jesus Christ we have the victory, so God deserves our praise and worship. The blessing of God causes us to triumph. Our true identity is in the blessing of God. Adam (the first man) was blessed like his creator is. He was blessed with the likeness and image of God. Genesis 1:26 He had that image and likeness until the enemy deceived his wife and they both fell. The blessing departed and the first curse came upon Adam, his wife Eve, and humanity. The curse changed the world, and the pattern and order God had put in place. God did not leave humanity without hope. Our creator made an opportunity for the glory and blessing Adam lost to be restored to humanity through the second Adam. Jesus Christ is the second Adam. He is the last Adam. Romans 5:17 The glory and blessing given to man causes us to triumph and prevail, succeed and do well in life. Genesis 1:28 The power of Satan in whatever form- witchcraft, voodoo, sorcery, divin

Intercession: A Vital Key

Ephesians 6:19 Intercession is standing in the gap on behalf of another person or people in the place of prayer. Intercession is a selfless kind of prayer which benefits another. It is the loving, the strong, and the selfless that usually intercede for others in prayer. It is giving your time, your strength and words to God so that God will benefit another person or people. Selfish leaders cannot inspire selfless prayer! Intercessors are great blessings, its is a great blessing to have intercessors in our lives, families, and churches. No matter how strong your calling is, you need the prayers of others. No matter how anointed you are, you need the prayers of others. No matter how gifted, talented, and endowed you are with spiritual and natural abilities you still need the benefits that come from other people praying for you. It doesn't matter if your calling had the most spiritually dramatic scenario around it when you were called into God's service, you still need the inter

Fight To Win

1 Corinthians 9:27 Discipline is an important aspect of any sport. Without discipline the indiscipline sportsman cannot be at his/her best. Like a sportsman the citizen of God's kingdom needs discipline to fight and win. The Apostle Paul had a very different approach to ministry and the work of the kingdom of God. His approach to evangelism had to do with his mindset. In the mind of Christ which he had, he paints mental pictures with his words of the sons of God being athletes, being competitive, being fighters and engaging in combat sports. No true combat sport participant enters the fight venue with the intention to loose. Every sportsman who is worth his/her salt competes to win, they compete for the prize, the glory, and the benefits of winning. They compete with the hope and intention of succeeding. 1 Corinthians 9:24 Most athletes compete to make their country, family, and friends proud. The kingdom citizen can also be likened to an athlete, a combat sport participant. Ephe

Kingdom Restoration

Jeremiah 30:17 Restoration brings honor. Restoration brings dignity. Restoration brings honor. Restoration brings dignity. With restoration, there can be healing and there is a connection between restoration and healing. In the kingdom of God everything is whole. In God's kingdom there is wholeness, freshness, and newness. We receive newness of life in the kingdom of God. Colossians 1:13 2 Corinthians 5:17 In the kingdom of God there is restoration. In the kingdom of God there are signs, wonders, and miracles. This is the realm true and lasting miracles come from. Acts 5:12 Acts 19:11,12 Jesus did everything He saw the Father do. John 5:19 The Father is of the kingdom. So everything Jesus did was of a kingdom perspective. Philippians 2:5-7 The healing, miracles, wholeness, new beginnings, signs and wonders He released to people who were bound and afflicted were from the kingdom. John 3:11-13 Jesus saw people who were blind, lame, tortured, afflicted and with mental health as they

Extra Oil

Matthew 25:1-13 An aspect of wisdom is adequate preparation. What distinguished 5 out of 10 virgins as wise in the text passage above is adequate preparation. They had enough oil for their desired aim, which was to go with the bridegroom when he arrived. Do you have enough in place to achieve your desired aim? Have you adequately prepared? In life we have to be ready and prepared to achieve our aims and target, especially toward the coming of the Lord. There is 'extra' available in God. There is 'extra' in store in the kingdom. That 'extra' can and will make all the difference! It made the difference for the 5 wise virgins. The wise go for the available extra in God. There is extra wisdom, extra favor, extra goodness, extra mercy, and extra power in God, all available for the believer. In God there is extra oil for your pilgrim journey on earth. Matthew 25:4 In the parable of the virgins we see 10 virgins with lamps. The lamps represent our spiritual walk. The

Being Positive In Negative Times

Romans 15:13 The text passage above shows that we can have joy, peace, and overflow with hope as we trust God. God does this work in us irrespective of how negative things may look and be in the world. Jesus had a positive mindset of possibilities . When He saw the blind, He knew they could see again. John 9:1-11 When He saw a lunatic He knew the lunatic could be restored in his mental health. Mark 5:1-19 When He came across the dead, He was positive enough to believe the dead is asleep. Luke 8: 51-52 When He encountered demons He knew they could be cast out. Luke 8:1,2 In negative situations, Jesus was positive in His view and outlook. Negativity and darkness never overcame Him. John 1:5 That's how we should be and live. The darkness of this world should not overcome us. Negative and dark times may be upon the world and may continue for a season, in the midst of it all we can be positive in God. Romans 5:1,11 As light is the answer to darkness, being positive in God is an answer

Growing In The Love & Spirit of God

1 Corinthians 13:11 Love is for the mature. True godly, divine, holy love is for the mature. It is for those who are mature in the sight of God. Growth is of the kingdom of God. God wants and expects us to grow in our love walk. The kingdom of God is associated with growth from the scriptures. It is likened to a stone which grew into a mountain. Daniel 2:34-35 The kingdom of God is a constantly increasing kingdom. Isaiah 9:7 Increase is of the kingdom, as a kingdom citizen you have a right to increase and grow. 2 Peter 3:18 The Holy Spirit is the Spirit and presence of God's kingdom. It is a kingdom requirement that we grow in the Spirit and presence of God. The Holy Spirit in turn helps us grow in love. Romans 5:5 The Holy Spirit is a Spirit of love for God is love. Jesus walked in the fullness of the Spirit of God. Matthew 3:13-17 Due to the presence and fullness of the Spirit with Jesus, He demonstrated great love. Love to do God's will which made Him lay down His life. It

The Kingdom Way!

Proverbs 14:12   &   Proverbs 16:25 Life is a journey. We can conclude on this from the two scripture passages above. It is important to know the way to your destination for the journey to be worth it. A journey requires you know the way for your journey to be successful. If you do not know the way to your destination, the journey will be futile, fruitless, frustrating, and purposeless. Before the world labelled us Christians (which means Christ-like), the followers of Christ were called people of the way . Acts 9:2 Acts 19:9 Acts 22:4 The way referred to Jesus Christ and His teachings. Acts 19:23 The believers in Jesus, back in the days before they were called Christians were people many believed knew t he way to God, to the kingdom of God, to having a relationship with God, and living in the will of God. Today, we should still be known as people of the way ! WE should be pointing people to God and being able to tell people about the gospel of the kingdom of God. There are diffe

Prevailing By The Blessing

Genesis 49:25,26 The scripture passage above shows us Joseph had the blessing of God on his head. He wore the blessing spiritually like a crown! The blessing made Joseph a prince among his brothers! You need the blessing to prevail in a dark and difficult world. No matter how dark the times are we are meant to prevail as God's people. No matter how dark it gets in the world we are meant to shine through and in the darkness. Light is who we are in Christ Jesus. Shinning is the responsibility and blessing God has given to us. It is what we do! Matthew 5:14-16 It is clear dark times are upon the earth. Isaiah 60:2 Humanity has rejected the peace, the joy, the blessing, and the pattern of God for itself  by rejecting the person and sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Romans 3:10,11 As Jesus wept over Jerusalem for her atrocities and not recognizing the day of her visitation, He weeps today over the consequences of the choices the world is making. Luke 19:41-44 Jesus Christ is the hope for hum

Kingdom Blessings!

Revelation 5:12 God's blessing doesn't necessarily start in a life with material things or pleasant experiences happening to us. When we mention the blessing of God some people think along the lines of some material acquisition, money, a nice spouse, lovely children and a successful business or career. While all those things can be part of the manifestation of the blessing and they are good, they are not the blessing of God in itself. God's view is quite different from man's view, God's perspective is often different from humanity's perspective. Adam, the first man God created would not have been all he could be without the blessing of God. The blessing was necessary for Adam to succeed and be God like. Genesis 1:26,28 God wanted His creation (Adam and Eve) to be like Him, so He blessed them The blessing makes us God-like! God is blessed, God is the blessed  and only potentate. 1 Timothy 6:15 God is the one from whom all blessings flow. James 1:17 If we are of

Learn To Fight

1 Timothy 6:12 You have to fight for what you want and what you want to see in a positive sense. You have to fight against and for your reality. 1 Timothy 1:18 There is a type of fight that is good, there is a type of fight God commends. It is called the fight of faith! This is a fight God has called you to. As a member of God's kingdom you need to know how to fight the fights God wants you to fight. In God's kingdom we are called to a divine wrestle, we are called to strength, for we are soldiers! In God's kingdom we are called to fight. Ephesians 6:10,12 Angels of God are citizens of God's kingdom just like everyone who has given their lives to the Lord. Angels of God know how to fight! Revelation 12:7 The scriptures inform us they are strong. Psalm 103:20 In a fight, it is the stronger individual who wins while the one who wasn't strong enough looses. Satan wasn't strong enough and he was thrown out of heaven, he lost the fight! Revelation 12:7,8 In the kingd
