Persevering For The Blessing!

Galatians 6:9

There are times and seasons when we need to persevere till there is a manifestation of God's promises tangibly in our lives.

The text passage shows us it is possible to give up and be weary before our reward or harvest comes.

There are times we will need to persevere until we see the blessing.

James 5:7

Jacob is an example of perseverance, he persevered for 14 years serving his uncle Laban just to marry the lady he loved.

He persevered all night wrestling with God for a blessing. Like Jacob we need to persevere to be who we should be, have what we should have, and be all we can be.

Genesis 32:22-30

Perseverance is a word that is not taught about much in Christendom these days. It is not the most exciting thought or word but it is important never the less.

People don't like the idea of having to wait, of being patient, or enduring.

To persevere is to continue in a course of action even in the face of difficulty or with little or no indication of success.

Perseverance applies to our spiritual and physical life.

Perseverance is one of the qualities people God commends have.

Perseverance is a quality God looks for in those He marks for special things.

Matthew 24:13

Abraham is a great example of perseverance .

He continued erecting altars of prayer and worship to God despite advancing in years by the day with no physical evidence he and his wife will have children together.

He continued praising God and hoping against hope.

Romans 4:17-21

Our Lord Jesus Christ persevered for a greater aim and the glory ahead of Him.

Hebrews 12:2,3

He endured the cross, He despised the shame that He may raise sons unto glory.

Hebrews 2:9,10

The perseverance of Jesus, Jacob, and Abraham were rewarded.

They got the rewards of persevering for God.

You cannot endure or persevere for God and go unrewarded.

Nobody serves God in vain.

Hebrews 11:6

Anyone who served a god in vain, served the wrong god.

God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Serving God and living for Him is not always an easy thing.

Many will not understand you.

Some will mock and despise you, while others may envy you.

There will be those who don't understand your season of preparation, patience, and process.

Matthew 5:11,12

To those who can endure it, if you can persevere, you will have the blessing and glorify God.

God honors those who persevere for His sake.

1 Samuel 2:30

The reward of perseverance is honor and a greater blessing.

Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18...

Out Of The Ashes

Isaiah 61:3 Ashes are not seen as useful substances. Ashes are waste that's thrown away. Ashes are what is left after a substance is burnt out. Your life may seem like ashes right now but something good and beautiful can come out of it when it's given to God. You may feel like an ash yourself. You may be feeling burnt out from unpleasant experiences of the past, the previous week, the last Month , or the the last year and life's battles may have left you burnt out. Know that out of your ashes can come beauty! God is the one who gives us beauty for ashes. God can make you and your life beautiful! Don't make the ashes your permanent state. God can make your season of ashes work out into a season of glory for you. Romans 8:28 The phoenix is a mystical and fictional bird that burns out after living for about six centuries. After burning itself out it rises from it's ashes renewed, youthful and revitalized to live through another life cycle. Like the p...
