The King's Countenance (3)

Matthew 17:2 On the Mount of transfiguration Peter, James, and John looked upon the countenance of Jesus Christ. For a while, they saw Jesus in His heavenly divine image- His face was as bright as the sun and His raiment was white as light! The divine being that Jesus Christ is can be trusted. Look to Him. Young (baby) birds look to their mothers to feed and nurture them. Newborn birds look to the face of their mothers for survival. The mother bird makes arrangements to feed her young, she's often ready, she's done some hunting and gathered some food; as her babies behold her countenance to survive she puts meat or worms in their young mouths/beaks. These baby birds look to the countenance of their mothers out of trust. The way young birds look to their parents (usually mothers) to survive and out of trust, that is how we must look to the countenance of our King for our survival and due to our trust in Him. Psalm 34:10 When we look to the countenance of God our king our faces

The King's Countenance (2)

Revelations 1:12-16 In the scripture passage/text above we read a description of the King's countenance. Jesus Christ in His glorified, divine state. True and successful kings maintain a spiritual connection to the King of kings and Lord of lords. In Bible times we see from the scripture that it's earthly kings who maintained a relationship with God that was most successful. King David was a very successful king who had God as His refuge, anchor, and strength. King Solomon was a very successful king who had quite a peaceful reign and lots of prosperity when he loved God and maintained his relationship with the God of his father king David. Adam was created to be the king of the earth, in the image and likeness of His maker. He had the blessing and the divine glory and mandate to function in that capacity. This was before the fall. King Uzziah was a very successful king whose reign enjoyed a lot of innovativeness in warfare and ingenuity. He was a king marvelously helped by Go

The King's Countenance!

Proverbs 16:15 God is the King. God's countenance towards you matters. One of the greatest blessings you can enjoy is for God's face to look favorably in your direction. It brings life, lifting, and progress. It is a wonderful thing when God smiles at an individual's life and destiny. The idea and concept of kingship/royalty started and originates from God. In our physical realm kings are given the honor, respect, and reverence. Kings/Queens are not seen as mere men but people who have the right and authority to rule over others, especially those in their jurisdiction and realm. The crown is the major symbol of distinction that sets a queen and king apart from their subjects, from those in their domain. God has a crown that separates Him from other spirits. God has distinct, unique, and glorious attributes that distinguish Him from other spirits, He is the Father of all spirits. God is the God-King whose favor we should always seek for. God's favor and love lifts us t
