The King's Countenance (2)

 Revelations 1:12-16

In the scripture passage/text above we read a description of the King's countenance.

Jesus Christ in His glorified, divine state.

True and successful kings maintain a spiritual connection to the King of kings and Lord of lords.

In Bible times we see from the scripture that it's earthly kings who maintained a relationship with God that was most successful.

King David was a very successful king who had God as His refuge, anchor, and strength.

King Solomon was a very successful king who had quite a peaceful reign and lots of prosperity when he loved God and maintained his relationship with the God of his father king David.

Adam was created to be the king of the earth, in the image and likeness of His maker. He had the blessing and the divine glory and mandate to function in that capacity. This was before the fall.

King Uzziah was a very successful king whose reign enjoyed a lot of innovativeness in warfare and ingenuity. He was a king marvelously helped by God. This was before he got proud and became leprous as a result of God frowning at him.

We need to focus on making the King happy with us, our God.

If you are going to be successful in your leadership and kingly office, keep your relationship with God alive.

To succeed, look to the countenance of the King- the one whose face is like the sun shining in all its brilliance.

Revelation 1:16

When we look to the countenance of the King of kings, His glory rub's off on us.

When we look to the countenance of the king, our King, we begin to manifest as kings after His order.

2 Corinthians 3:18

On the countenance of our king, we find life!

Proverbs 16:15

Our target and aim as a people should be to please our king.

Your heart's desire as a true citizen of God's kingdom should be to ensure the countenance of our King is always brightened towards you.

It is to our benefit when our king is happy with us.

Jesus Christ is our king.

He is the King of the kingdom we are from.

Colossians 1:13

There is light and great glory to contact on the face/countenance of Jesus Christ.

There is wisdom in spending time with God, it makes our face shine.

Ecclesiastes 8:1

The face of Moses shore after spending a long time on the mountain top in the presence of the King of all kings.

Exodus 34:30

God wants His face to shine upon you.

Numbers 6:25

When God's face shines upon us we contact His life.

John 1:4

When God's face shines upon us we are being transformed into His image.

2 Corinthians 3:18

When God's countenance shines upon us we live gloriously.

When God's countenance shines upon us we take on God's nature.

John 12:36

God's countenance upon us gives us peace.

Numbers 6:26

When God's countenance shines upon you, darkness (evil) departs from you.

John 1:5

The good news to us is that the King's countenance is one of favor and love to us, this is due to God the King viewing us through the lens of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 5:2

Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18

Navigating A New Year

Isaiah  42:16 Our text passage above shows us God is the one who shows us the path to take and leads us in new directions. Your path matters to God. The way you you choose to take is important to God. Your steps are seen by God and ordered by God. Psalm 37:23 The year ahead of you matters to God too. Luke 13:8-9 Each year God has given you the grace to witness, experience, and journey through is another opportunity to be fruitful for God. God wants you to make the most of the year ahead of you to His glory. Human beings do not always know the way and path to go, we can be limited in wisdom. History shows we do not always make the best choices. The year ahead of us will require knowing the way to go, having the wisdom to make the best decisions and choices. Deuteronomy 30:19 To successfully navigate the year we need to stay in God.. To navigate is to find your way through, it is following the right path to a specific destination. The Importance Of The Anointing

Acts 10:38 The anointing is the presence of the Holy Spirit with a person. The anointing speaks, the anointing directs, and the anointing teaches people what they need to know and do. 1 John 2:27 You need the anointing. You can grow in the anointing. It is also possible to depart from the anointing. The anointing won't depart from you but you can depart from the anointing. You should remain in Him. It is worth it investing time to understand the your anointing, growing in your anointing and obeying the anointing. As you get to know a person better by spending time with them, so it is with the anointing in your life. With the anointing, you can't go wrong. The anointing strategically positions you in God's kingdom and in life. Jesus was full of the Holy Spirit. Colossians 2:9 Jesus had the anointing when He was here on earth. Jesus is our example of what our life can be when we have the anointing. Hebrews 12:2 Jesus knew His purpose. Luke 2:49 Jesus
