The King's Countenance!

 Proverbs 16:15

God is the King.

God's countenance towards you matters.

One of the greatest blessings you can enjoy is for God's face to look favorably in your direction.

It brings life, lifting, and progress.

It is a wonderful thing when God smiles at an individual's life and destiny.

The idea and concept of kingship/royalty started and originates from God.

In our physical realm kings are given the honor, respect, and reverence.

Kings/Queens are not seen as mere men but people who have the right and authority to rule over others, especially those in their jurisdiction and realm.

The crown is the major symbol of distinction that sets a queen and king apart from their subjects, from those in their domain.

God has a crown that separates Him from other spirits.

God has distinct, unique, and glorious attributes that distinguish Him from other spirits, He is the Father of all spirits.

God is the God-King whose favor we should always seek for.

God's favor and love lifts us to any height, brings us any needed breakthrough, and protects us.

There are loads of benefits that can be received by those who are in the good books of a king/queen.

It is to the advantage of an individual who the king's countenance favors.

May the countenance of King Jesus favor you!

The scriptures inform us there is light and glory on the countenance of Jesus Christ! There is glory on His face that is beyond human comprehension.

2 Corinthians 4:6

The countenance of kings in Bible times showed volumes regarding what was to befall the individual the king is focused on, whether it's a Pharoah of Egypt, a Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon, Cyrus the great of Persia, King Xerxes of Persia, King David of Israel amongst others.

Cyrus the great was addressed as the king of kings in his time because of the many kings that paid tribute to him, kings whose land/countries he had conquered, and had come under Cyruses jurisdiction.

By the time Cyruses grandson Xerxes became king of Persia the Persian empire had grown to over 180 countries/lands and counting, all under Xerxes control. He controlled a powerful dynasty and empire that favor was going to make an orphan girl queen of.

King Xerxes loved and favored Esther, the orphan Jewish girl brought up by her uncle Mordecai who served at the king's gate.

The king's countenance also favored Mordecai, Esther's uncle.

Esther 2:17

Esther 5:8 - Esther 6:1-12

The King's countenance determines if we get the positive change we seek in our lives or not.

One look from earthly kings could determine life or death, mercy or punishment, poverty or riches, depending on the disposition of the king.

Earthly kings have so much power and have had a lot of power in ancient and Bible times because the democratic form of rulership/government wasn't practiced at the time. It was monarchy and dictatorships that were in operation.

The word of the king was final.

Ecclesiastes 8:4,5

May God look favorably towards us.

Numbers 6: 25,26

As Esther found favor before her king, may we find favor before the King of kings and Lord of lords.

This favor will bring a positive change to any life and destiny.

Key characters in the Bible found themselves having to stand before kings in Bible times- Joseph before Pharaoh, Moses before Pharaoh, Jesus before Herod, David before Saul, Esther before Xerxes, Abraham before Abimelech as well as several others.

For many of them, contact with kings benefitted them.

Many people scheme, fight, betray one another, and play politics to be in royal circles and to have the favor of kings.

Yet they neglect the King who truly matters, they forget the King who has the heart of all earthly kings in His hand!

Proverbs 21:1

Jesus Christ is Lord, He is King of kings and Lord of lords!

Acts 2:38

Revelation 17:14

God is the king!

Psalm 47:6-7

Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18

Navigating A New Year

Isaiah  42:16 Our text passage above shows us God is the one who shows us the path to take and leads us in new directions. Your path matters to God. The way you you choose to take is important to God. Your steps are seen by God and ordered by God. Psalm 37:23 The year ahead of you matters to God too. Luke 13:8-9 Each year God has given you the grace to witness, experience, and journey through is another opportunity to be fruitful for God. God wants you to make the most of the year ahead of you to His glory. Human beings do not always know the way and path to go, we can be limited in wisdom. History shows we do not always make the best choices. The year ahead of us will require knowing the way to go, having the wisdom to make the best decisions and choices. Deuteronomy 30:19 To successfully navigate the year we need to stay in God.. To navigate is to find your way through, it is following the right path to a specific destination. The Importance Of The Anointing

Acts 10:38 The anointing is the presence of the Holy Spirit with a person. The anointing speaks, the anointing directs, and the anointing teaches people what they need to know and do. 1 John 2:27 You need the anointing. You can grow in the anointing. It is also possible to depart from the anointing. The anointing won't depart from you but you can depart from the anointing. You should remain in Him. It is worth it investing time to understand the your anointing, growing in your anointing and obeying the anointing. As you get to know a person better by spending time with them, so it is with the anointing in your life. With the anointing, you can't go wrong. The anointing strategically positions you in God's kingdom and in life. Jesus was full of the Holy Spirit. Colossians 2:9 Jesus had the anointing when He was here on earth. Jesus is our example of what our life can be when we have the anointing. Hebrews 12:2 Jesus knew His purpose. Luke 2:49 Jesus
