Exodus 4:1-5 Our text passage shows us God asking Moses what he had in his hand. The answer is a rod, a shepherd's rod which God would use mightily. What Moses had in his hand was all God needed. God doesn't ask us to give what we do not have. It is the kingdom of darkness who inconvenience people, asking for all sorts of things people can't get or what people do not have. Anyone who inconveniences people to handover or give what is beyond them more often than not is a false prophet or false minister of the gospel. Ezekiel 34:10 There is no time you do not have something to offer the Lord. There is no time you do not have something to potentially change your fortunes through God. Your prayer, your praise, your giving, your service, your skill, your kindness to the less privileged are seed you can sow. They are things you can give.
