Pressing In For A Miracle

Psalm 46:1

Our scripture passage informs us that God is our present help in time of need!

That means God is ever present to help us..

It means God is ever present to hear us.

It means God is ever present see and know what we are going through.

It means God is on hand to intervene in our favor.

Faith is now.

God is a faith God, a now God.

He is the God of our present moment.

There are times when you need a miracle eagerly.

He is the God of your present moment reality, the one who helps you in the now, who doesn't delay your miracle till tomorrow.

There are times in life's journey you may need a miracles desperately.

There are moments in life you need God to come through for you right now, right there and then because of the seriousness and urgency of your matter.

Such times are not the time you need a Pastor or church giving you a long list of prayer requests to pray for 21 days.

Such times are not the time you need a Prophet telling you to go and look for consultancy fee before he or she can attend to you when you have no money on you.

Such times are not when you need a priest making you feel condemned for your sins, making you believe God is punishing you for your wrongs.

Such moments, might not be the time you need an Apostle telling you to take affirmations for the next 1 Month before you get results.

Moments like that, are not when you need a self professed teacher of God's word manipulating the scriptures to delay you and extort money from you.

There are times you almost can't wait because time is not favoring you in the matter at hand.

Such times are not the time you can afford to stand on a long prayer queue to be prayed for by an Evangelist who has hundreds of people to attend to, when you have a time deadline to a matter that's due within minutes.

When you are at your wits end, you've tried everything and everyone you know to sort out a matter and the consequence of not solving it is grave, and the clock is ticking, you need a miracle!

When a loved one is in a coma in the hospital and the medical team are seriously considering turning off their life support you need an immediate miracle!

Life's experience can present these type of tricky situations, and we have characters in the Bible who faced such urgent and grave matters.

God can give us a right now, immediate miracle.

I know and believe this because He is our present help in time of need.

I know and believe this because He is the same yesterday, today and forever, if He intervened in the desperate situations of others in the past He can do the same today for you and I.

There are characters in the Bible who needed an instant miracle, a right now, this moment miracle.

King Hezekiah was one of them.

Hezekiah is in an awful situation with his health, and to make matters worse the word of the Lord had come to him from a genuine prophet that he was to put his household in order because he wasn't going to get better, he was going to die.

Thank God Hezekiah knew how to press into God for a miracle!

He prayed, he pressed into God in the place of prayer and God intervened.

The same prophet who came with unfavorable news for Hezekiah, is the same prophet who turned back before he could leave the palace courts that God was adding 15 years to Hezekiah's life and he would have victory over his rival enemy king.

God even gave Hezekiah a sign as evidence that He would be faithful to His word to Hezekiah without Hezekiah asking!

May God change every unfavorable prophecy and report against you into good news for you!

The poor widow is another example of someone who needed an immediate miracle from the Lord.

2 Kings 4:1-7

He two sons were to be taken away as slaved because of her late husbands debt.

Her husband was a godly man but unfortunately he died with debts.

The poor woman was desperate, she needed a solution, he sons were so close to becoming slaves because of their fathers battle..

May God deliver us and our children from inherited battles in Jesus Name!

Thank God she went to a genuine prophet, a prophet connected to the God of the present reality.

The equivalent of what are bailiffs today were coming for her sons.

She needed the shame and impending sorrow avoided, she had no time to waste.

She and her sons needed to be free.

Thank God she got her miracle through God's servant and God's power at work.

God loves you as much as the individuals I have mentioned.

If He could have given up His Son Jesus Christ for your redemption, will He not through Jesus freely give you all things?

We can press into God for our miracles.

The woman with the issue of blood is another example.

She had spent most of her livelihood on trying to fix her excessive bleeding.

She had spent a fortune on physicians, yet she didn't feel or get any better.

She had no money to waste or throw around on her health anymore.

Thanks God Jesus wasn't going to judge her by checking whether she is a tithe payer or not before she can have a miracle.

Thank God Jesus wasn't going to charge her for a miracle, He wasn't going to require a financial seed to help anyone, He wasn't going to demand consultancy fee before He can minister to anyone. for Jesus; Kingdom work which we call ministry is not about personal gain but doing the heavenly Father's will and blessing humanity, pointing them to the heavenly Father in the process.

The woman with the issue of blood pressed into Jesus, virtue/power was drawn from Jesus and she was healed.

May your prayers always draw virtue from Jesus Christ.

Press into Jesus today, you can have your own this day, present miracle.

Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18...

Out Of The Ashes

Isaiah 61:3 Ashes are not seen as useful substances. Ashes are waste that's thrown away. Ashes are what is left after a substance is burnt out. Your life may seem like ashes right now but something good and beautiful can come out of it when it's given to God. You may feel like an ash yourself. You may be feeling burnt out from unpleasant experiences of the past, the previous week, the last Month , or the the last year and life's battles may have left you burnt out. Know that out of your ashes can come beauty! God is the one who gives us beauty for ashes. God can make you and your life beautiful! Don't make the ashes your permanent state. God can make your season of ashes work out into a season of glory for you. Romans 8:28 The phoenix is a mystical and fictional bird that burns out after living for about six centuries. After burning itself out it rises from it's ashes renewed, youthful and revitalized to live through another life cycle. Like the p...
