Job 14: 7-9 Growth is the plan and will of God. Nature shows this and the scriptures informs us so. Our text passage shows us a tree stomp can grow again at the scent of water. This means the tree stomp had grown or was once growing before something went wrong. It was cut down and water was taken away from it. At the scent of water it started growing again. Water is life, it represents life spiritually, which Jesus Christ gives. Water also represents grace. May God water our lives with His grace!  1 Samuel 16:13 It is God who makes kings. It is God who creates royalty. It is God who chooses leadership. It is God who brings about royal lines, and royal lineages on earth. He does it in His sovereign will and plan. He choses kings. He lifts up kings and brings down kings. He brings people before royalty. He makes royals out of non royals. Judges 16:28 Our text passage shows us God remembered Samson and granted him his heart desire. God answered Samson's prayer. In remembering Samson, Samson's prayer was answered and he performed one final exploit which fulfilled his life's mission on earth. It is a beautiful thing for God to remember you.
