Judges 16:28
Our text passage shows us God remembered Samson and granted him his heart desire.
God answered Samson's prayer.
In remembering Samson, Samson's prayer was answered and He performed one final exploit which fulfilled his life's mission on earth.
It is a beautiful thing for God to remember you.
When God remembers you for good get ready for good things.
When God remembered Samson, his prayer was answered and he was honored with strength while his enemies the Philistines were destroyed.
Judges 16:28-30
Every time God remembers a person or a people for good in scriptures it is either for honor or deliverance.
May God honor and deliver us.
God is not blind that He cannot see us.
God is not deaf that He cannot hear us.
God is not armless or his hands too short that He cannot stretch out His hands to deliver.
Isaiah 59: 1-2
Isaiah 50: 2
God is not a carved image made from wood, God is not some small pocket god that we carry around.
God is not a man made god that men bow down to in their foolishness.
God has feelings, emotions, an intellect and He can remember.
Psalm 94:9-11
He remembered Hannah after many years of mockery and barrenness.
He remembered Abraham.
He remembered Lot.
He remembered Sarah, Abraham's wife.
He remembered Noah in the arm after a long period of blooding the earth.
With God, you can be remembered for good or for judgement.
God remembered the enemy nations who resisted and mistreated the children of Israel after their exodus from Egypt.
Their judgement came under the leadership of Joshua.
May God remember you for good!
May God remember our wicked and unrepentant enemies for judgement!
God's judgement may not be instant when enemies do evil to His people, that's why many of them are deceived into continuing to do evil.
But God doesn't forget the evil done to His person, His people.
God records all that happens to us.
He keeps our tears in a book!
Psalm 56:8
If He notices our tears, He notices everything about us.
God notices our words.
Matthew 12:36
If God notices our words and tears He notices everything about our lives.
He saw you when you were being conceived in your mother's womb.
Psalm 139:13
Our leaving this world, our death is precious to God.
Psalm 116:15
If He knows us and sees us, if He was there when we were conceived, if He records our words and keeps our tears, and if our death is precious to Him it means He can remember us while we are alive!
God will answer your prayers because He has remembered you.
He will do good to you because He has remembered you.
He will deliver you because He has remembered you.
He will save you, justify you, vindicate you, redeem you, and help you because He has remembered you.
