Matthew 6:13
Our text scripture passage shows us God is the one who truly delivers.
So God is our deliverer.
Who is a deliverer?
A deliverer is a person who rescues, who saves from hardship, danger, or evil.
This is what the Lord Jesus Christ does.
He delivers from sin, Satan, shame, sickness, and sorrow.
He delivers from fallen angels, demonic spirits, evil forces and evil mysteries.
He delivers us from the kingdom of darkness, the wiles of men, the tricks of enemies, and the weapons of cruelty.
He delivers us from ourselves, since some people are the enemies of themselves whether they know it or not.
He delivers us from death.
John 11: 38-44
Jesus the Christ is the great deliverer.
No man can deliver you outside of being used by God to help you.
If a man is not operating with the power and wisdom of God, he/she cannot deliver you.
The Lord has all the power and wisdom to deliver us with our various unique issues and scenarios.
He has the kingdom, the power and the glory to deliver us!
Matthew 6:13
Trust in God brings about God's intervention and deliverance.
It is our trust in God that makes us pray, and God responds to sincere prayer with a performance.
Isaiah 65:24
Some people do not really have a prayer life, they don't have a prayer life because they don't really trust God.
Psalm 20:7
To trust God is to have faith in God, faith in God makes us pray and spend time in His presence.
In the place of prayer, we are in God's presence by faith.
Psalm 91:1
The presence of God is called the secret place of the most high.
Its called a secret place because we access it through prayer.
And the Lord taught us to access God's presence secretly through prayer.
Matthew 6: 6
In the presence of God, there is deliverance.
Psalm 32:7
May the Lord surround you with songs of deliverance!
