1 Samuel 2:8
Our text passage reveals God raises the beggar from the dust, and lifts the needy from the ash heap to make them sit with princes and inherit a throne of honor.
In other words, its God who turns the lowly into highly placed people, He turns those who lack into people who are abundant in riches, and He raises the head and horn of those who are bowed down.
The Lord is the one who makes royalty out of those that are regarded as common and despised.
If that is not a miracle I don't know what else is.
If that is not mysterious, then tell me what else is.
Our text passage shows God lifts and transforms mysteriously!
God is a God of mysterious liftings!
Psalm 3:3
God's ways are beyond man.
The way God lifts men up and shows mercy to a person is beyond what a human mind can orchestrate.
No man can plan for you what God has planned for you.
No man can do for you what God can do for you.
God is the Master planner, Master orchestrater, and the one who sets up.
When it is God's time to lift a person, a people or nation up, He moves forces in heaven, on earth and beneath the earth to favor the person or people He is lifting up.
When it was time for the liberation of the children of Israel, which was their lifting; God did it in ways that man cannot explain and science has no answer to.
God lifts men up in ways that are miraculous!
In ways no man can plan.
Mary the mother of Jesus Christ could not have planned the wonders and miracles Jesus would be and do.
It was beyond human thinking.
Luke 1:26-38
Joseph the husband of Jesus's mother could never have planned, imagined, or manifested for Jesus a life like Jesus lived.
God sets laws into motion and suspends laws for miracles to happen.
He also does so when He wants to lift a man up.
While men can know the ways of God for their life through the Holy Spirit, we only know what God permits us to know.
And no matter how much God allows us to know for our life or about the life of others, we only know and see in part.
1 Corinthians 13 verse 9 & 12
Humanity's science can only see and know a little from the creation and wonders of God.
While we marvel at God's creation through nature and what we think are great scientific discoveries, what we are able to see, explore and discover about creation is nothing compared to what we cannot see
Since the ways of God are mysterious to us, His liftings are mysterious too.
Romans 11:33
The man Jabeez became, after God heard His prayer; must have been a marvel to those who knew him before God lifted him up.
The prosperity of Obededom and his family which happened in a space of three Months when the ark of the covenant came to his house caught the attention of the nation.
Obededom and his home prospered speedily and mysteriously!
It was a mysterious lifting.
2 Samuel 6:12
When the time came for Mordecail the Jew who lived in Persia and who was uncle of Queen Esther to be lifted by God, the king of Persia Xerxes Ahaserus became restless and couldn't sleep.
Unable to sleep, he mysteriously and suddenly asked that the book of remembrance be brought before him and read to him.
The attendants reading to him got to the part where Mordecai once foiled an attempt to get the king killed by palace officials, betrayers.
Then king then asked what had been done for Mordecai who saved his life, and the king set out to honor Mordecai.
My a miraculous arrangement that could have only been God, Haman the enemy of Mordecai and the Jews had to watch Mordecai receive the honor he had hoped for himself as he played the role of Mordecai's personal driver.
He drove Mordecail around Persia during an open parade the king had in Mordecai's honor.
God made the king become restless, and mysteriously he was unsettled until Mordecai was honored!
Mordecai, his niece Queen Esther, and the Jews enjoyed mysterious liftings and the demise of their enemy Haman.

When the set time for the deliverance and lifting of the children of Israel came, God struck their oppressors with ten plagues.
These ten plagues showed the mysterious hand of God at work!
The hand of God moved sickness and diseases, it turned water to blood, killed a generation, moved angels, even the angels of death, controlled nature, insects and spirits, all against the Egyptians.
It was done for the deliverance and lifting of the Israelites.
Joshua 24:5
There is nothing God cannot do when He wants to bless, help, favor and lift an individual.
If God could have given Jesus for you, there is nothing He can't do for you in His love; including lifting you up!
Romans 8:32
