James 1:17
Our text passage shows us there are graces, gifts or endowments that come from the kingdom of heaven that are good and perfect.
They are given to us by our heavenly Father.
They come from above.
They are blessings.
They help us function, glorify God and walk in abilities beyond the ordinary.
They are gifts money cannot buy.
Acts 8:20
An example of something heavenly being dropped or endowed to a man is Elisha receiving the mantle of Elijah as Elijah was departing from the earth supernaturally.
What he received was no ordinary cloth, it was a mantle of power that enabled Elisha to function in the spirit of Elijah with a double portion.
It was what Elisha wanted, it was what Elisha requested for and he got.
He paid a price to receive it.
The price he paid was to ask for what he wanted and to go all the way with Elijah his "father" which none of the other "sons" of the prophet were willing to do.
2 kings 2:8-14
May we get what we need and what we want from the Lord!
There are blessings we can press into from the kingdom of God.
These blessings are functional gifts we can operate in and with.
They are graces from the kingdom of heaven.
They are endowments that come from the presence of the Lord.
They are kingdom endowments.
They are designed to empower us.
They empower us for service,
Mantles- are spiritual empowerments that confer responsibility, authority and an office.
2 kings 2:13,14
Horns- they represent victory, strength, dominance and power.
Often used as a metaphor, in the spiritual realm it can appear as a horn.
Horns show rank and give dominion.
Daniel 7:7-8
Luke 1:69
Anointings- is the working of the Holy Spirit in a human being.
Often depicted by oil, oil has been used to pass the Holy Spirit into a life and destiny.
The Holy Spirit can still use oil as a tool for a purpose.
He works as the oil from heaven, the oil of Gods kingdom.
Psalm 45:7
These are some of the endowments of the kingdom of God humanity can benefit from, grown into, and function in that gives them a place, an office, a ministry and makes them a channel of blessing on the earth to God's glory!
