Marvelous Help

2 Chronicles 26:13-15

We all need help from time to time.

Man (humanity) is not created to be independent of God.

Genesis 3:8

Due to the imperfect state of the world and the human race, we will need help now and again.

Roman 3:23

It is a great thought to know God is available to help us.

Psalm 70:5

King Uzziah was a man who received God's help.

The help of God made him strong and powerful.

God helped this king to the point that he became great and distinguished.

It is the help of God that makes a person great.

We know from scriptures that God is no respecter of persons, what He has done for one, He can and will do for another.

Acts 10:34

If God has made kings in the past, He will make kings on earth today.

If God has lifted people out of the dunghill (poverty and misfortune) before, He will do so today.

If God has fought for people before, He will fight for someone/some people today.

God is our present help  in times of need.

Psalm 46:1

The Lord our God can help you in a marvelous way.

Marvelous means to cause wonder.

God can help you in a way that will make men wonder, you will be amazed yourself.

Psalm 118:23

The God who helps is also called Wonderful.

He can help His people in the most wonderful way!

Most importantly, the believer has the Holy Spirit with and within him.

The Holy Spirit is our perpetual helper.

John 14:15-18

He is the presence of God in us.

With the Holy Spirit comes the mind of Christ with which we can solve problems and please God.

Through the Holy Spirit we can access the Christ mind.

John 14:26

Through the Holy Spirit we pray right, love right, and we are empowered to do God's will.

Romans 5:5

The Holy Spirit directs us.

Romans 8:14

He is our helper with the big and small things.

Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18

The Importance Of The Anointing

Acts 10:38 The anointing is the presence of the Holy Spirit with a person. The anointing speaks, the anointing directs, and the anointing teaches people what they need to know and do. 1 John 2:27 You need the anointing. You can grow in the anointing. It is also possible to depart from the anointing. The anointing won't depart from you but you can depart from the anointing. You should remain in Him. It is worth it investing time to understand the your anointing, growing in your anointing and obeying the anointing. As you get to know a person better by spending time with them, so it is with the anointing in your life. With the anointing, you can't go wrong. The anointing strategically positions you in God's kingdom and in life. Jesus was full of the Holy Spirit. Colossians 2:9 Jesus had the anointing when He was here on earth. Jesus is our example of what our life can be when we have the anointing. Hebrews 12:2 Jesus knew His purpose. Luke 2:49 Jesus

Navigating A New Year

Isaiah  42:16 Our text passage above shows us God is the one who shows us the path to take and leads us in new directions. Your path matters to God. The way you you choose to take is important to God. Your steps are seen by God and ordered by God. Psalm 37:23 The year ahead of you matters to God too. Luke 13:8-9 Each year God has given you the grace to witness, experience, and journey through is another opportunity to be fruitful for God. God wants you to make the most of the year ahead of you to His glory. Human beings do not always know the way and path to go, we can be limited in wisdom. History shows we do not always make the best choices. The year ahead of us will require knowing the way to go, having the wisdom to make the best decisions and choices. Deuteronomy 30:19 To successfully navigate the year we need to stay in God.. To navigate is to find your way through, it is following the right path to a specific destination. Car drivers either buy a GPS/Navigation device system or
