Intercession: A Vital Key

 Ephesians 6:19

Intercession is standing in the gap on behalf of another person or people in the place of prayer.

Intercession is a selfless kind of prayer which benefits another.

It is the loving, the strong, and the selfless that usually intercede for others in prayer.

It is giving your time, your strength and words to God so that God will benefit another person or people.

Selfish leaders cannot inspire selfless prayer!

Intercessors are great blessings, its is a great blessing to have intercessors in our lives, families, and churches.

No matter how strong your calling is, you need the prayers of others.

No matter how anointed you are, you need the prayers of others.

No matter how gifted, talented, and endowed you are with spiritual and natural abilities you still need the benefits that come from other people praying for you.

It doesn't matter if your calling had the most spiritually dramatic scenario around it when you were called into God's service, you still need the intercession the church can offer you.

Christians are encouraged to pray for one another.

Prophecies and prayers had preceded his birth.

The Jews had been expecting the Messiah for generations before the birth of Jesus and they had been praying for Him and about His coming.

It is a great blessing to have parents, family, or friends who intercede for us in prayer.

2 Timothy 1:5

The prayer of the church led to Peter's supernatural release by an angel sent from God.

Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18

The Importance Of The Anointing

Acts 10:38 The anointing is the presence of the Holy Spirit with a person. The anointing speaks, the anointing directs, and the anointing teaches people what they need to know and do. 1 John 2:27 You need the anointing. You can grow in the anointing. It is also possible to depart from the anointing. The anointing won't depart from you but you can depart from the anointing. You should remain in Him. It is worth it investing time to understand the your anointing, growing in your anointing and obeying the anointing. As you get to know a person better by spending time with them, so it is with the anointing in your life. With the anointing, you can't go wrong. The anointing strategically positions you in God's kingdom and in life. Jesus was full of the Holy Spirit. Colossians 2:9 Jesus had the anointing when He was here on earth. Jesus is our example of what our life can be when we have the anointing. Hebrews 12:2 Jesus knew His purpose. Luke 2:49 Jesus

Navigating A New Year

Isaiah  42:16 Our text passage above shows us God is the one who shows us the path to take and leads us in new directions. Your path matters to God. The way you you choose to take is important to God. Your steps are seen by God and ordered by God. Psalm 37:23 The year ahead of you matters to God too. Luke 13:8-9 Each year God has given you the grace to witness, experience, and journey through is another opportunity to be fruitful for God. God wants you to make the most of the year ahead of you to His glory. Human beings do not always know the way and path to go, we can be limited in wisdom. History shows we do not always make the best choices. The year ahead of us will require knowing the way to go, having the wisdom to make the best decisions and choices. Deuteronomy 30:19 To successfully navigate the year we need to stay in God.. To navigate is to find your way through, it is following the right path to a specific destination. Car drivers either buy a GPS/Navigation device system or
