Matthew 6:10
There is a connection between God's kingdom, God's will, and heaven.
The will of God is what happens in heaven, it's what God wants happening to you and in you on earth.
The will of God is not exactly hard to know and find out.
If we can get 'pictures' of heaven from the scriptures we will have an idea of what happens in heaven and what we should be doing here on earth in line with heaven.
By pictures of heaven, I'm referring to a revelation and understanding of heaven from the pages of the scriptures.
The blue print for our lives is with God and God's realm is heaven.
The will and purpose of God for our lives must be revealed from heaven.
We need a revelation of heaven.
The presence and working of heaven in a life and on earth is what is known as God's kingdom.
The kingdom of God is in our midst now, it is within us.
Luke 17:21
If you are in Christ, the will of God will be sensed and known from within you by you because the Spirit of God is within you.
The Spirit of God reveals that which is of heaven, which is of God, to you.
John 16:14
The Spirit of God will teach you the will of God and the oracles of God's kingdom from within you.
John 14:26
Jesus linked the will of God to heaven
Matthew 6:10
The will of God is that the happenings of heaven will happen in your life.
What is done in heaven that we can do, to be in alignment with God's will?
Prayer is a heavenly activity. In heaven, prayer goes on. Jesus Christ prays in heaven, He is at the right hand side of the Father interceding for the saints!
Romans 8:34
If the darling of heaven prays, it means the angels pray in heaven!
When we, the people of God, the church of God pray, we are being heavenly. We are doing what is done in heaven.
Worship is part of the activity and lifestyle of heaven. It should be the activity of the saints here on earth.
A lifestyle of worship in spirit and truth is what God requires from us. Worship aligns us with God's will.
Our lives should be a worship to God!
John 4:24
Praise goes on in heaven. The angels of God are constantly praising God. The saints of the Lord on earth should do the same since God inhabits the praise of his people.
Psalm 22:3
Gratitude is the attitude of heaven. The gratitude of the angels to God makes them break out in worship and praise.
It's possible to praise God as a requirement, tradition, protocol or culture in certain places, for instance a church or assembly gathering. It doesn't mean we are truly grateful.
Being grateful is a condition and state of the heart. Not all men are grateful men despite their many blessings from God.
God looks at the heart and gratitude is a reflection of the state of the heart.
Grateful people focus on what God has done, not what they feel God has not done. We should learn to express gratitude to God in all things.
Gratitude leads to expressions of thanksgiving. Gratitude is God's will for us.
1 Thessalonians 5:18
Assembling in unity is the will of God and a heavenly act. It is a heavenly responsibility.
This is why we go to church.
The sons of God must gather together in unity.
We don't go to church because we are jobless, we go to church because it's a reflection of what happens in heaven. That is where we assemble together with the saints in unity.
God commends it. It is beautiful in the sight of God. It is God's will.
Psalm 133:1
Fight, fighting is an activity we have seen in heaven. The first fight ever occurred between two angel groups pitched against each other. The archangel Michael and his group, and Lucifer and his group. Lucifer and his group lost the battle and they were cast out of heaven.
Michael and his team fought to keep the kingdom secure and threw the impostor out!
Revelation 12:7-9
Citizens of the kingdom are called to be warriors, we are no weaklings!
We fight.
We fight because the will of God is one we enforce against all odds. We fight by engaging in spiritual warfare. We fight by fighting the good fight of faith. We fight for the cause of God, the Kingdom of God and the gospel we are custodians of.
1 Timothy 6:12
Receive The Word of God, the word of God reveals the will of God to us.
Angels gather before the Lord's throne to receive His words in heaven.
We should do the same, it's a heavenly thing which God commends.
Luke 10:39-42
Each time God's word is taught, preached, given as prophecy, declared, confessed or acted upon it aligns us into the will of God.
Mary the mother of Jesus received the word of the Lord as impossible as it sounded and became blessed for it.
"Be it unto me, according to your word" should be our default state to every true and sincere word from the Lord to us.
