James 4: 2, 3
Our text passage reveals we do not have certain things because we simply did not ask for them in prayer.
What we ask for is what we get, as long as it is within God's will, God's word.
John 15:7
There are certain experiences we will not have because we did not ask for them.
Most people do not dare to ask God for certain things and experiences because they do not believe God wants them to have those things.
Some people think and feel God doesn't care, though they believe there is a God out there somewhere.
There are other people who don't ask God for things they want and need because they don't know the will of God or understand it.
There's also a category of people who don't ask God for certain blessings or experiences because they don't believe in God, they don't believe God exists.
Nature has revealed to us God exists.
Job 12:7-10
Archaeology has revealed to us God exists.
Science, when looked to for the origin of creation cannot explain or give us logical answers we can work with. Science points us to a theory- the big bang theory.
The big bang theory cannot logically explain the wisdom, the pattern, the order and intelligence we observe in nature which points to a divine intelligence and creator.
God is Spirit, God is supernatural.
John 4:24
All through human history God has revealed Himself to humanity in diverse ways.
God has revealed Himself through prophecy, revelation, nature, dreams, His chosen people, supernatural encounters, and most importantly Jesus Christ our Savior.
Hebrews 1:1-3
The Bible reveals supernatural experiences and encounters, they have a purpose, and they are God's will.
We see angelic interventions and encounters in the Bible.
2 Kings 19:35
Judges 6:11-12
We see supernatural wisdom, understanding, knowledge, and skill given to people in the Bible.
Daniel 1:17
We see the supernatural come into people's daily lives through the ministry of Jesus, the Apostles, and prophets.
The supernatural emanates from God and is who God is.
The supernatural is God's will for you.
You can have supernatural visitations, encounters, provision, wisdom, skill, favor, deliverance, healing, and blessings if you dare to believe and ask.
John 14:13,14
