God's Treasured Possession

 Deuteronomy 7:6

The children of Israel were chosen as a treasure unto God.

It is an awesome privilege to be a treasured possession of God.

This is who and what God wants us to be to Him.

For this reason, God has extended that privilege to humanity.

Through Jesus Christ, you can be as close to God as you wish to be.

James 4:8

Through the mercy and grace of God that is Jesus Christ you can be God's treasured possession like the children of Israel are.

We humans value our treasures, we stay where our treasures are, our hearts are where our treasure is.

God is the same.

When you become His special treasure or treasured possession, God will come and dwell with you because His heart is towards you.

John 14:23

Matthew 6:21

To become a treasured possession of God, you have to be chosen, to be chosen is to accept Jesus Christ.

1 Peter 2:9

To be God's treasured possession is to be called, if you accept Jesus Christ as Lord and savior, you are called.

The honor of being God's treasured possession is to become royalty in God, you are royalty if you are in Jesus Christ.

You are God's treasured possession when you are holy.

You become holy by faith in the righteousness of God which is Jesus Christ.

Philippians 3:9

It is Jesus who makes us holy, not our human morality or righteousness.

Isaiah 64:6

If Jesus says you are righteous and sanctified in Him, then you are.

That makes you holy.

John 17:17

Being a treasured possession of God makes you unique.

An individual in Christ Jesus is peculiar.

An aspect of being peculiar is knowing who you are in God and not doing everything everyone else is doing.

Jeremiah 10:2

A person who is God's treasured possession will show forth the praises of God.

What this means is that your life will glorify God.

Your life should point others to God, have testimonies, and make others praise God because of you.

Matthew 5:16

A treasured possession of God is an individual or people who have come out of darkness into the kingdom of God.

Colossians 1:13

A person God has put His name upon is a treasured possession of God.

Numbers 6:27

A treasured possession is an individual or people, who is precious to God.

Isaiah 43:2-4

A treasured possession of God comes under God's protection.

In Christ Jesus we become valuable.

We protect our valuables, our treasures.

God does the same.

Psalm 121:7-8

A treasured possession of God is a person who has the Holy Spirit in Him.

1 Corinthians 6:19

The Spirit of God makes us valuable, He is our advantage.

John 16:7

Go and take your place in Christ Jesus!

Navigating A New Year

Isaiah  42:16 Our text passage above shows us God is the one who shows us the path to take and leads us in new directions. Your path matters to God. The way you you choose to take is important to God. Your steps are seen by God and ordered by God. Psalm 37:23 The year ahead of you matters to God too. Luke 13:8-9 Each year God has given you the grace to witness, experience, and journey through is another opportunity to be fruitful for God. God wants you to make the most of the year ahead of you to His glory. Human beings do not always know the way and path to go, we can be limited in wisdom. History shows we do not always make the best choices. The year ahead of us will require knowing the way to go, having the wisdom to make the best decisions and choices. Deuteronomy 30:19 To successfully navigate the year we need to stay in God.. To navigate is to find your way through, it is following the right path to a specific destination. Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18

The Importance Of The Anointing

Acts 10:38 The anointing is the presence of the Holy Spirit with a person. The anointing speaks, the anointing directs, and the anointing teaches people what they need to know and do. 1 John 2:27 You need the anointing. You can grow in the anointing. It is also possible to depart from the anointing. The anointing won't depart from you but you can depart from the anointing. You should remain in Him. It is worth it investing time to understand the your anointing, growing in your anointing and obeying the anointing. As you get to know a person better by spending time with them, so it is with the anointing in your life. With the anointing, you can't go wrong. The anointing strategically positions you in God's kingdom and in life. Jesus was full of the Holy Spirit. Colossians 2:9 Jesus had the anointing when He was here on earth. Jesus is our example of what our life can be when we have the anointing. Hebrews 12:2 Jesus knew His purpose. Luke 2:49 Jesus
