The Spoken Blessing

 Numbers 6: 22 to 27

Our text passage shows us an ancient blessing the priests used to speak over the congregation/assembly of God's people, verse twenty two and twenty three shows us they are blessings that God gave as words to Moses for the priests to bless the nation.

With God given words, the priests blessed the people, and the people became blessed!

Those words carried the blessing and the presence of God with them.

The words 'stuck' to the people as the priests declared them over the people, and the nation of Israel prospered.

In Christ Jesus we are priests, and as priests we can bless ourselves and others by speaking these words and praying them over our life and over the life of others.

1 Peter 2:9

There are great blessings in the spoken words of an individual God has anointed to bless His people.

There are great blessings in your words as well.

Blessings are meant to be declared and released through the mouth.

Genesis 1:28

The Bible has a lot to say about words.

There is power in our words.

Blessings can come by words spoken over you, that's powered by God.

What we say over ourselves, our family, and about our situation matters a lot.

Proverbs 18:21

It is the words we speak that angels respond to.

They respond to our words, our prayers.

Daniel 10:12

When God blesses, He speaks.

When God wants to bless, He instructs.

Words have been and words remain a way God blesses us and spreads blessings through generations.

Through His word, God rescues and brings deliverance.

Psalm 107:20

It is time to bless yourself.

Speak words of blessings over your destiny, life, family, children, career, finances, your future, and your nation.

A husband should speak words of blessings over his wife, and vice versa.

Words of blessings strengthen the marital and family bond.

Parents should speak words of blessings over their children daily.

Teaching our children to use their words to bless themselves, their parents, and others is part of admonishing them in the way of the Lord

Ephesians 6:4

Words of blessings strengthen communities, regions, and nations.

Genesis 26:4

The nation of Israel was not the biggest nation, they didn't have the largest or strongest army, or the most experienced fighting men when they left Egypt.

They were slaves who had lots of issues when they left Egypt.

Joshua 2:8-11

Yet they defeated nations who had more advantages than they did because the anointing, the blessing, God's presence was with them.

Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18...

Out Of The Ashes

Isaiah 61:3 Ashes are not seen as useful substances. Ashes are waste that's thrown away. Ashes are what is left after a substance is burnt out. Your life may seem like ashes right now but something good and beautiful can come out of it when it's given to God. You may feel like an ash yourself. You may be feeling burnt out from unpleasant experiences of the past, the previous week, the last Month , or the the last year and life's battles may have left you burnt out. Know that out of your ashes can come beauty! God is the one who gives us beauty for ashes. God can make you and your life beautiful! Don't make the ashes your permanent state. God can make your season of ashes work out into a season of glory for you. Romans 8:28 The phoenix is a mystical and fictional bird that burns out after living for about six centuries. After burning itself out it rises from it's ashes renewed, youthful and revitalized to live through another life cycle. Like the p...
