The "Suddenlies" Of God

 Acts 2:1-4

Our God is a God of 'suddenlies' who can work sudden signs, wonders, and miracles in our lives.

The day of Pentecost, which some believe and would debate was the birth of the church, was a sudden moment,

"Suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a mighty wind"

A remarkable occurrence took place before the conception and birth of John the Baptist.

Suddenly, angel Gabriel appeared to Zechariah the husband of Elizabeth and subsequent father of John the Baptist as he served in God's presence by burning incense in the Lord's temple.

Luke 1:8-20

Anyone who is doing God's will can receive a 'suddenly' miracle from God.

Anyone serving God faithfully despite the odds can have a life changing and sudden encounter like Zechariah the priest had.

What had been impossible in Zechariah the priest and his wife Elizabeth's life, suddenly became possible because of a sudden angelic encounter God granted him.

Cornelius was a generous man who gave to the poor and had a prayer life.

Cornelius prayers and giving had come up as a memorial before God.

God rewarded him with a sudden encounter- an angelic visitation, which led to his salvation and his household's salvation.

Acts 10:1-48

The 'suddenlies' of God are the wonderful acts, signs, wonders, and miracles of God that happen at a time or moment people did not envisage.

Many of the miracles of Jesus were 'suddenlies' in the lives of those who were beneficiaries.

These individuals woke up like they do every morning from their night's sleep with their ailments, diseases, mental issues, demon possession, fears, and unhappiness without realizing a contact with Jesus just ahead of them with will make their day special.

Suddenly the blind could see, the lame could walk, the demon possessed were set free, health issues were resolved, the impossible happened.

Gideon was always hiding from his nations enemies as he had become accustomed to doing daily, this was his survival strategy.

On a certain day, something sudden and different happened, he received an angelic visitor who changed the narrative of Gideon's life positively.

Judges 6:11-23

Moses went about his duty shepherding his father in-law's sheep as he had been doing for almost 40 years, but within the time period of a day, a lot changed. He had a sudden encounter.

Exodus 3:1-22

The suddenly of God will bring your long-awaited change.

The suddenly of God will cause a positive transformation in your life.

The most important 'suddenly' from God is the second coming of Jesus.

We should all be prepared for it by ensuring we are followers of Jesus Christ by being truly saved.

It will come as a thief in the night.

Matthew 24:42-44

Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18...

Out Of The Ashes

Isaiah 61:3 Ashes are not seen as useful substances. Ashes are waste that's thrown away. Ashes are what is left after a substance is burnt out. Your life may seem like ashes right now but something good and beautiful can come out of it when it's given to God. You may feel like an ash yourself. You may be feeling burnt out from unpleasant experiences of the past, the previous week, the last Month , or the the last year and life's battles may have left you burnt out. Know that out of your ashes can come beauty! God is the one who gives us beauty for ashes. God can make you and your life beautiful! Don't make the ashes your permanent state. God can make your season of ashes work out into a season of glory for you. Romans 8:28 The phoenix is a mystical and fictional bird that burns out after living for about six centuries. After burning itself out it rises from it's ashes renewed, youthful and revitalized to live through another life cycle. Like the p...
