Supernatural Skills

 Exodus 31:1-5

God gave Bezalel wisdom and creative skill for the building of the temple.

This glorified God.

Skills are necessary for all areas of life, they are essential for us to make the most of life.

God is the giver of ability, know-how, expertise, and skill.

He gave David skill on the battlefield, skill to play the harp, skill to write poems and psalms, God also gave King David leadership skills.

God was the one who trained David.

Psalm 144:1

God graces some people with manifold skills, David was one of them.

David was a man of many attributes due to God gracing him with skills to function in many capacities.

David functioned in the prophetic, he functioned as a priest, he functioned as a king, he functioned as a warrior, he functioned as a shepherd, and he functioned as a writer.

David had skill as a nation builder, a unifier, and as a statesman.

He was known as the sweet psalmist of Israel due to his skillful ability to compose and minister songs of worship to God.

2 Samuel 23:1

He was an anointed worshipper whose skillful playing of the harp relived a tormented king Saul each time he played.

1 Samuel 16:14-23

Oholiab and other skilled workers were given the ability from God to make everything God had commanded Moses.

God gives supernatural skill!

True ability and skill comes from God.

I heard about and also watched the testimony of a man who died on a dentists operation chair during a dental operation and he went to heaven. He had an encounter with Jesus which was life changing.

He is back alive as a preacher.

Before he died, he couldn't play any musical instrument, when he came back to life he could supernaturally play 15 musical instruments skillfully.

That's supernatural!

Supernatural skills are kingdom skills, they are skills God gives to his people to carry out His will on the earth.

God gives us abilities and skills to function in the offices, capacities, and responsibilities He has called us to.

Spiritual gifts give us spiritual skill.

1 Corinthians 12:8-11

There is a skill for everything in life, and God gives us the necessary skill to not only survive, but to do what we need to do well, and thrive doing it.

Daniel was skillful at unravelling mysteries and interpreting dreams.

Daniel 5:10-12

Joseph was skillful at interpreting dreams, and coming up with solutions.

Genesis 41:14-40

These are men who received supernatural skills from God.

Jesus demonstrated mastery in all things, He had all skill for His assignment.

So should we.

Solomon was skillful at leading and judging God's people by wisdom that was supernatural.

In some religions and myths, it is believed Solomon controlled spirits by his God given wisdom and used them to carry out impossible assignments. He then bottled them up or constrained many of them in lamps. This is how the concept of genies or jinn's came about.

This is not a Biblical account, so it perhaps can't be verified.

God can bless you with supernatural skill.

Navigating A New Year

Isaiah  42:16 Our text passage above shows us God is the one who shows us the path to take and leads us in new directions. Your path matters to God. The way you you choose to take is important to God. Your steps are seen by God and ordered by God. Psalm 37:23 The year ahead of you matters to God too. Luke 13:8-9 Each year God has given you the grace to witness, experience, and journey through is another opportunity to be fruitful for God. God wants you to make the most of the year ahead of you to His glory. Human beings do not always know the way and path to go, we can be limited in wisdom. History shows we do not always make the best choices. The year ahead of us will require knowing the way to go, having the wisdom to make the best decisions and choices. Deuteronomy 30:19 To successfully navigate the year we need to stay in God.. To navigate is to find your way through, it is following the right path to a specific destination. Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18

The Importance Of The Anointing

Acts 10:38 The anointing is the presence of the Holy Spirit with a person. The anointing speaks, the anointing directs, and the anointing teaches people what they need to know and do. 1 John 2:27 You need the anointing. You can grow in the anointing. It is also possible to depart from the anointing. The anointing won't depart from you but you can depart from the anointing. You should remain in Him. It is worth it investing time to understand the your anointing, growing in your anointing and obeying the anointing. As you get to know a person better by spending time with them, so it is with the anointing in your life. With the anointing, you can't go wrong. The anointing strategically positions you in God's kingdom and in life. Jesus was full of the Holy Spirit. Colossians 2:9 Jesus had the anointing when He was here on earth. Jesus is our example of what our life can be when we have the anointing. Hebrews 12:2 Jesus knew His purpose. Luke 2:49 Jesus
