Supernatural Weapons

 2 Corinthians 10:14

The believer is equipped with spiritual weapons, though not carnal or tangible physically their supernatural effect is not to be denied, they have tangible effects.

That we weapons of our warfare are not seen with the physical eyes does not mean they are less effective than physical weapons.

In most situations spiritual weapons do a cleaner, thorough, and more effective job than physical weapons.

Spiritual weapons are powerful enough to pull down strongholds.

Weapons are instruments of offense and defense we use for our protection and victory during battles.

God in His wisdom knows the importance of weapons and He's equipped His people with supernatural weapons adequately.

In the animal kingdom, animals have been given survival abilities by the Creator.

It is usually an instinct to protect themselves or to hunt for food.

Many of them have physical attributes that act as weapons.

As it is with the physical, it is usually so in the spiritual.

There are spiritual weapons.

Spiritual weapons are supernatural weapons.

Supernatural weapons are kingdom weapons.

Supernatural weapons are weapons the believer, the kingdom citizen has access to.

Ephesians 6:10-18

Supernatural weapons have divine power to demolish strongholds.

Supernatural weapons enhance our spiritual warfare, and they enhance our victory.

Weapons are used in the spirit realm.

We see angels with swords in the Holy scriptures.

1 Chronicles 21:16

God didn't get the idea for weapons from man. God's angels had been equipped with weapons before humanity existed.

This shows us swords have existed before human beings came up with the idea of swords and other weapons.

We see from scripture that the first war happened in heaven, Satan and one third of the angels of God lost their place in heaven, they refused to leave, there was resistance, so Michael the archangel (a warrior angel) and his team fought Satan and the one third on Satan's side.

Lucifer, who became Satan lost, he and his cohorts were thrown out of heaven.

Revelation 12:7-10

I believe that war was not merely a punching or boxing matching but supernatural weapons were used by these angelic forces.

There are weapons in the spirit realm that are not available on the earth.

One of the greatest battle stories in history is perhaps the David and Goliath battle.

Goliath was armed with carnal, physical weapons. While David was armed with spiritual weapons over physical weapons.

Goliath had the height advantage, the reach advantage, the armor advantage, the physical weapon advantage.

Goliath mocked David, in the same way the flesh mocks the things of the spirit.

He was mistaken. We will also be mistaken to mock or look down on spiritual things, due to what we can see which seems to have more advantages.

That battle was more of a carnal weapons versus supernatural weapons battle.

Supernatural weapons prevailed, as surely as light prevails over darkness.

We have supernatural/kingdom weapons available to us:

1) PRAYER (Ephesians 6:18)

2) THE SPIRIT OF MIGHT (Isaiah 11:2, Ephesians 6:10)

3) THE LORD HIMSELF (Hebrews 12:29)

4) THE BLOOD OF JESUS (Revelation 12:11)

5) THE WORD OF God, our sword. (Ephesians 6:17)

6) THE WORD OF YOUR TESTIMONY (Revelation 12:11)

7) THE HELMET OF SALVATION (your salvation) (Ephesians 6:17)

8) THE SHIELD OF FAITH (Ephesians 6:16)

9) THE HEAVENLY LANGUAGE (Ephesians 6:18)

10) YOUR DECLARATION/DECREES (Job 22:28)

Navigating A New Year

Isaiah  42:16 Our text passage above shows us God is the one who shows us the path to take and leads us in new directions. Your path matters to God. The way you you choose to take is important to God. Your steps are seen by God and ordered by God. Psalm 37:23 The year ahead of you matters to God too. Luke 13:8-9 Each year God has given you the grace to witness, experience, and journey through is another opportunity to be fruitful for God. God wants you to make the most of the year ahead of you to His glory. Human beings do not always know the way and path to go, we can be limited in wisdom. History shows we do not always make the best choices. The year ahead of us will require knowing the way to go, having the wisdom to make the best decisions and choices. Deuteronomy 30:19 To successfully navigate the year we need to stay in God.. To navigate is to find your way through, it is following the right path to a specific destination. Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18

The Importance Of The Anointing

Acts 10:38 The anointing is the presence of the Holy Spirit with a person. The anointing speaks, the anointing directs, and the anointing teaches people what they need to know and do. 1 John 2:27 You need the anointing. You can grow in the anointing. It is also possible to depart from the anointing. The anointing won't depart from you but you can depart from the anointing. You should remain in Him. It is worth it investing time to understand the your anointing, growing in your anointing and obeying the anointing. As you get to know a person better by spending time with them, so it is with the anointing in your life. With the anointing, you can't go wrong. The anointing strategically positions you in God's kingdom and in life. Jesus was full of the Holy Spirit. Colossians 2:9 Jesus had the anointing when He was here on earth. Jesus is our example of what our life can be when we have the anointing. Hebrews 12:2 Jesus knew His purpose. Luke 2:49 Jesus
