The God Who Connects

 Genesis 24:1-62

The story from our text passage is a wonderful story of how God brought about a marital union through God's divine orchestration.

This story is evidence that God is truly a God who rules in the affairs of men.

Daniel 4:7

While our text passage is about a miracle marriage coming to life, it shows deeper things about God's ability and how God works.

We see that God connects, God orchestrates, and God directs.

Psalm 37:23

The God who connected Isaac and Rebecca despite being in distant geographical locations, strangers to one another, with no previous intention of meeting and getting married is the same God who can connect people together for business, ministry, academics, and career purposes.

For the sake of God's kingdom purposes and assignments God connects people together.

God knows those you should do life with, God knows those who matter to your life and destiny, God knows those you should influence, those who should mentor you, and He knows how to connect you to them and them to you.

It was God's arrangement that Daniel, Shedrach, Meshach, and Abednego would be friends and influence one another positively.

Daniel 2:17-23

It was God's connection that brought Jesus and His twelve disciples together for kingdom purposes.

Luke 6:12,13

If you need a spouse you need  God's divine connection.

If your business needs customers you need God's divine connection.

If your church needs members and partners for your pastoral assignment you need God's divine connection.

If you need a business partner to start that business with you need God's divine connection.

If you need a benefactor or patron you need God's divine connection.

God is the One who connects.

Ezekiel 37:7

God is the One who brings people and things together for a purpose.

When God's leading, guidance, and direction are at work they produce divine orchestrations.

Prayer is a key part of making divine connections happen.

Abraham prayed that an angel would go ahead of Eliezer his senior servant before Eliezer embarked on the difficult journey of finding his master's family and picking a wife from there for Isaac.

Eliezer also prayed when he got to the land his master Abraham came from that God will bless his assignment and mission.

God was faithful to do so.

Genesis 24:12-15

Prayer made the assignment easier and possible.

Prayer puts angels to work behind the scene for divine connections to happen.

Genesis 24:7

Navigating A New Year

Isaiah  42:16 Our text passage above shows us God is the one who shows us the path to take and leads us in new directions. Your path matters to God. The way you you choose to take is important to God. Your steps are seen by God and ordered by God. Psalm 37:23 The year ahead of you matters to God too. Luke 13:8-9 Each year God has given you the grace to witness, experience, and journey through is another opportunity to be fruitful for God. God wants you to make the most of the year ahead of you to His glory. Human beings do not always know the way and path to go, we can be limited in wisdom. History shows we do not always make the best choices. The year ahead of us will require knowing the way to go, having the wisdom to make the best decisions and choices. Deuteronomy 30:19 To successfully navigate the year we need to stay in God.. To navigate is to find your way through, it is following the right path to a specific destination. Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18

The Importance Of The Anointing

Acts 10:38 The anointing is the presence of the Holy Spirit with a person. The anointing speaks, the anointing directs, and the anointing teaches people what they need to know and do. 1 John 2:27 You need the anointing. You can grow in the anointing. It is also possible to depart from the anointing. The anointing won't depart from you but you can depart from the anointing. You should remain in Him. It is worth it investing time to understand the your anointing, growing in your anointing and obeying the anointing. As you get to know a person better by spending time with them, so it is with the anointing in your life. With the anointing, you can't go wrong. The anointing strategically positions you in God's kingdom and in life. Jesus was full of the Holy Spirit. Colossians 2:9 Jesus had the anointing when He was here on earth. Jesus is our example of what our life can be when we have the anointing. Hebrews 12:2 Jesus knew His purpose. Luke 2:49 Jesus
