Defeating The Darkness

 John 1:4,5

The light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it.

Darkness has been an ancient age-long force on this earth.

The whole world is under the influence of darkness except for the few who walk with God and truly know Him.

Psalm 74:20

We see darkness on the scene during the account of creation before God called forth the manifestation of light.

Genesis 1:2

God created light and called it good.

Genesis 1:4

Light is better than darkness, light is the answer to darkness, and light gets rid of darkness.

Darkness connotes that which is evil, hidden, ungodly, contrary, and harmful.

Darkness is a force that infiltrates the souls of men.

People full of darkness or possessed with darkness are puppets in the enemy's hand.

Darkness is a spirit.

Darkness is a realm, it is the realm of the enemy, it is Satan's realm.

Darkness is also called the gates of hell.

Darkness or gates of hell is the kingdom, structure, government, or realm of Satan.

Matthew 16:18

Darkness controls the world system and operates anywhere there is air.

Ephesians 2:2

The darkness has a hierarchy.

Ephesians 6:12

It has agents that operate on its behalf- spirit princes, spirit warriors, spirits assassins, monitoring spirits, and human agents/human points of contact.

Warlocks/wizards, witches/sorcerers, voodoo priests, soothsayers and occultists are human agents of darkness.

Agents of darkness can be found almost everywhere on this earth, anywhere air is, those Satan has influenced can be found there.

Evil fraternities and occult groups are the assemblies of darkness as true churches are assemblies of light.

Jesus who is the light of the world would show up in places and darkness would react.

The darkness reacts to light.

The darkness loves the dark and operates in the dark.

Demons, evil spirits would speak out through people at the appearance of the Light (Jesus).

Matthew 8:29

People will not always like you if you are in the Light (Jesus Christ). Sometimes it will be without any reason, not everyone will appreciate who you stand for.

Irrespective of the lure and power of darkness, darkness can be overcome.

Darkness has been given a moment of time to operate and reign.

Luke 22:53

Darkness is overcome by the Light.

John 8:12

God overcame and openly defeated darkness as a man.

Colossians 2:15

Jesus the Christ is the Light and answer to darkness.

Through Him we defeat the darkness.

Through Him the tools and weapons of darkness against us are destroyed.

1 John 3:8

Through Him all things are made new.

2 Corinthians 5:17

Navigating A New Year

Isaiah  42:16 Our text passage above shows us God is the one who shows us the path to take and leads us in new directions. Your path matters to God. The way you you choose to take is important to God. Your steps are seen by God and ordered by God. Psalm 37:23 The year ahead of you matters to God too. Luke 13:8-9 Each year God has given you the grace to witness, experience, and journey through is another opportunity to be fruitful for God. God wants you to make the most of the year ahead of you to His glory. Human beings do not always know the way and path to go, we can be limited in wisdom. History shows we do not always make the best choices. The year ahead of us will require knowing the way to go, having the wisdom to make the best decisions and choices. Deuteronomy 30:19 To successfully navigate the year we need to stay in God.. To navigate is to find your way through, it is following the right path to a specific destination. Car drivers either buy a GPS/Navigation device system or

Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18

The Importance Of The Anointing

Acts 10:38 The anointing is the presence of the Holy Spirit with a person. The anointing speaks, the anointing directs, and the anointing teaches people what they need to know and do. 1 John 2:27 You need the anointing. You can grow in the anointing. It is also possible to depart from the anointing. The anointing won't depart from you but you can depart from the anointing. You should remain in Him. It is worth it investing time to understand the your anointing, growing in your anointing and obeying the anointing. As you get to know a person better by spending time with them, so it is with the anointing in your life. With the anointing, you can't go wrong. The anointing strategically positions you in God's kingdom and in life. Jesus was full of the Holy Spirit. Colossians 2:9 Jesus had the anointing when He was here on earth. Jesus is our example of what our life can be when we have the anointing. Hebrews 12:2 Jesus knew His purpose. Luke 2:49 Jesus
