The Power Of An Altar

 Exodus 20:24

An altar can be good or bad depending on the purpose of the altar and the spirit forces the altar is used to serve or invoke.

An altar is a point of supernatural activity, a spot where spiritual transactions are going on.

Numbers 23:1-3

Altars are powerful and can be life changing.

A life or a destiny can be made or destroyed before an altar.

On an altar communities, regions, and nations can be blessed or cursed.

What is done on an altar can affect the coming generations positively or negatively.

Noah sacrificed on an altar and it made God change His mind about the earth, removing His curse on the earth..

Genesis 8:20,21

God has great respect unto the place of the altar because an altar is a spot/place where sacrifice goes on.

Altars started in heaven, God has an altar before Him in heaven, a golden altar.

Revelation 9:13

Sacrifices move spirits, whether good or bad spirits.

God responds to sacrifice.

Psalm 51:17

The power of an altar is determined by the kind of sacrifice on that altar.

There are physical altars and spiritual altars.

Revelation 6:9

Physical altars are altars of earth, while spiritual altars are heavenly altars.

Physical altars are connected to heavenly altars.

Physical altars are a link between the earthly realm and the spiritual realm.

Men like Moses, Abraham, Solomon, Noah, Jacob, and Manasseh built altars to communicate with God or as God instructed.

1 kings 9:25, Exodus 17:15, Genesis 13:18, 1 kings 23:12

Through evil altars, witchcraft is propagated and entire regions can and have been held captive.

Believers don't  exactly erect physical altars nowadays unlike Bible times  but we operate powerful spiritual altars.

- Our praises to God  is an altar of sacrifice unto the Lord.

Hebrews 13:15

- Our prayers and giving is an altar unto the Lord.

Acts 10:30

- Worshipping God with our body is an altar of sacrifice unto the Lord.

Romans 12:1

- Your heart can be an altar unto the Lord.

Psalm 51:17

-The cross of Jesus Christ is an altar of power to those who are saved.

1 Corinthians 1:18

Jesus was the sacrifice on the 'altar' of the cross.

Hebrews 13:10

This makes what was done at the cross of calvary the most powerful spiritual activity that will ever occur on this earth.

Every other altar has to bow to the sacrifice of Jesus and the message of the cross.

The spiritual altar of the believer is superior to every negative, man made erected altar for evil.

While evil altars are erected to curse and propagate the enemy's agenda, spiritual altars of the Lord, especially what Jesus did at the cross drives God's agenda and brings about great blessing.

Navigating A New Year

Isaiah  42:16 Our text passage above shows us God is the one who shows us the path to take and leads us in new directions. Your path matters to God. The way you you choose to take is important to God. Your steps are seen by God and ordered by God. Psalm 37:23 The year ahead of you matters to God too. Luke 13:8-9 Each year God has given you the grace to witness, experience, and journey through is another opportunity to be fruitful for God. God wants you to make the most of the year ahead of you to His glory. Human beings do not always know the way and path to go, we can be limited in wisdom. History shows we do not always make the best choices. The year ahead of us will require knowing the way to go, having the wisdom to make the best decisions and choices. Deuteronomy 30:19 To successfully navigate the year we need to stay in God.. To navigate is to find your way through, it is following the right path to a specific destination. Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18

The Importance Of The Anointing

Acts 10:38 The anointing is the presence of the Holy Spirit with a person. The anointing speaks, the anointing directs, and the anointing teaches people what they need to know and do. 1 John 2:27 You need the anointing. You can grow in the anointing. It is also possible to depart from the anointing. The anointing won't depart from you but you can depart from the anointing. You should remain in Him. It is worth it investing time to understand the your anointing, growing in your anointing and obeying the anointing. As you get to know a person better by spending time with them, so it is with the anointing in your life. With the anointing, you can't go wrong. The anointing strategically positions you in God's kingdom and in life. Jesus was full of the Holy Spirit. Colossians 2:9 Jesus had the anointing when He was here on earth. Jesus is our example of what our life can be when we have the anointing. Hebrews 12:2 Jesus knew His purpose. Luke 2:49 Jesus
