The Divine Nature

 2 Peter 1:4

The nature of a thing determines it's potential.

You cannot be better than the nature in you.

You nature determines your limitations and your possibilities.

Your nature has a lot to do with determining what you can achieve.

Animals behave the way they do because of their nature.

Every living thing has it's own nature.

Your nature has to do with your DNA, your genetics.

It is the way you are 'wired' internally.

Your DNA, your genetics comes about as a result of your ancestry, your lineage.

It's what you've inherited from your parents which has very likely been passed on

Your looks, your health, your personality and maybe your character  will have a lot to do with your family history.

God is a generational thinking God.

Exodus 3:6

God is the Spirit who sees the big picture.

He looks at things from a generational and eternal perspective.

1 Chronicles 28:4-6

If God gives you an instruction it is to produce not just a temporary outcome but a generational and eternal effect.

For this reason God wants you to have the right nature- the divine nature.

Salvation ushers us into God's family, it connects us to a new spiritual lineage, and qualifies us for an eternity with God.

Colossians 1:13

Salvation offers us God's adoption.

It grafts us into a new spiritual lineage that makes the God of the Bible, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob our God.

Romans 11:24

Salvation is a heart matter that is expressed through the mouth to the acknowledging of Jesus Christ as Lord and King over a life.

Romans 10:10

This gives us a new nature.

It is also the start of a new relationship with the Holy Spirit that should be cultivated and developed.

The new nature in us should produce eternal life in us.

1 John 5:11-13

The new nature we've received increases our potential

The new nature we've received entitles us to divine benefits as heirs with Jesus Christ.

Romans 8:17

The new nature in us is no ordinary nature but a supernatural, divine nature that makes divine possibilities happen.

Matthew 19:26

This divine nature can impact on your human health for the better.

The divine nature in you shows you are a son/daughter of God.

It is very visible in the Spirit realm.

Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18...

Out Of The Ashes

Isaiah 61:3 Ashes are not seen as useful substances. Ashes are waste that's thrown away. Ashes are what is left after a substance is burnt out. Your life may seem like ashes right now but something good and beautiful can come out of it when it's given to God. You may feel like an ash yourself. You may be feeling burnt out from unpleasant experiences of the past, the previous week, the last Month , or the the last year and life's battles may have left you burnt out. Know that out of your ashes can come beauty! God is the one who gives us beauty for ashes. God can make you and your life beautiful! Don't make the ashes your permanent state. God can make your season of ashes work out into a season of glory for you. Romans 8:28 The phoenix is a mystical and fictional bird that burns out after living for about six centuries. After burning itself out it rises from it's ashes renewed, youthful and revitalized to live through another life cycle. Like the p...
