Matthew 6:13 Our text scripture passage shows us God is the one who truly delivers. So God is our deliverer. Who is a deliverer? A deliverer is a person who rescues, who saves from hardship, danger, or evil. This is what the Lord Jesus Christ does. He delivers from sin, Satan, shame, sickness, and sorrow. He delivers from fallen angels, demonic spirits, evil forces and evil mysteries. He delivers us from the kingdom of darkness, the wiles of men, the tricks of enemies, and the weapons of cruelty. He delivers us from ourselves, since some people are the enemies of themselves whether they know it or not. He delivers us from death. John 11: 38-44 Jesus the Christ is the great deliverer. No man can deliver you outside of being used by God to help you. If a man is not operating with the power and wisdom of God, he/she cannot deliver you. The Lord has all the power and wisdom to deliver us with our various unique issues and scenarios. He has the kingdom, the power and the glory to deliver us...

2 Corinthians 3:18 Our text passage informs us transformation is a major part of our spiritual journey. Transformation is a major, radical, and total change that makes a thing totally different and unrecognizable from what it used to be. We are on a journey of transformation spiritually. A work is being done in us, which eventually manifests outwardly. Transformation makes new and brings the new. Transformation leads to glory.  New things have a glory about them- their smell, the freshness, the purity and the cleaness. New things make us happy, they bring a certain excitement. A new car, a new house, a new job, a new pet, publishing a new book or finishing a new project, a new breakthrough, a new bouncing baby added to a couple; all these things bring great joy. The kind of joy we feel when these things happen to us should give us an insight into the joy God's heavenly family feel when a new believer is added to the Lord's family. Angels rejoice/celebrate when a new convert cho...

2 Kings 6:15-17 Our text passage shows us it's very important to have the right perspective in life. An individual who is with God is never outnumbered by the enemy! What we see with our natural eyes and what we are experiencing does not necessarily reveal the truth. There are times in life you may feel outnumbered, unmotivated & overwhelmed. Life's trials, challenges, twists and turns can make us feel that way. Health issues, career issues, spiritual warfare, family issues, biological limitations, betrayals, and the wickedness of men can make us feel outnumbered. When the bills keep coming, debts are accruing, responsibilities are increasing, naysayers and critics are all around you, enemies encircle you & detractors are on your tail. During such times, remember "greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world" The individual with God is the majority. Unfortunately, Gehazi the assistant of Prophet Elisha didn't understand this. Many of us can b...

Jeremiah 32:27 Our text passage has a question in it. The passage informs us God is the Lord before the question came. A lord is a master, the one who owns and controls. God is the Master, the owner, and He controls, sorts out and fixes. The text informs us He is the God of all flesh. This means everything pertaining to life on earth He is God over it. The flesh refers to our body. Anything that has a body has a right to live on earth. The fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the things that move and creep all have their various type of bodies. Human beings have their own bodies. God is God over every form of flesh, He called them into existence, He formed them. Then the question from the text passage, "is anything too hard for me?" Anything that can go wrong on earth, in creation, and within our bodies can be fixed by the Lord. God has supernatural solutions for everything. Our challenges do not intimidate God. Our difficulties do not scare God. Our fears do not make God ...

1 Samuel 2:8 Our text passage reveals God raises the beggar from the dust, and lifts the needy from the ash heap to make them sit with princes and inherit a throne of honor. In other words, its God who turns the lowly into highly placed people, He turns those who lack into people who are abundant in riches, and He raises the head and horn of those who are bowed down. The Lord is the one who makes royalty out of those that are regarded as common and despised. If that is not a miracle I don't know what else is. If that is not mysterious, then tell me what else is. Our text passage shows God lifts and transforms mysteriously! God is a God of mysterious liftings! Psalm 3:3 God's ways are beyond man. The way God lifts men up and shows mercy to a person is beyond what a human mind can orchestrate. No man can plan for you what God has planned for you. No man can do for you what God can do for you. God is the Master planner, Master orchestrater, and the one who sets up. When it is God...

Proverbs 21:1 Our text passage informs us the kings heart is in God's hand and He directs it as the rivers of water turning it as He wills. A king is a leader and person of influence, usually with great wealth and in a position to bless you. It is God who directs the heart of a king, it is God who directs the heart of men in the way He pleases. God connects people, God can put us in the heart of people for good. God is a God who connects people. God is a God who links people together for His purposes, will, and assignments. God brings friendships together for a purpose. God permitted Jonathan the son of king Saul to love David the shepherd boy as much as he loved himself. 1 Samuel 18:1 There is a reason and purpose for that, it was to bring David closer to the palace, to the royal family and ultimately to bring David to his destiny which is to become king of Israel. Jonathan consented to David's becoming the next king, which was to Jonathan's own giving up of what could hav...

Matthew 27: 57-66 Matthew 28: 1-8 Our text passages shows that God is a God who sets things up. He is a planner, a great mastermind and an orchestrator. The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ was a master set up from the throne room of God. If the spirit and human enemies of Jesus knew what they were doing was playing into God's plan for Jesus they would not have done what they did. 1 Corinthians 2:8 We will do well aligning with the Lord's plan, will, and purposes. Romans 8:28 When the Lord is involved, what looks like a closed door is actually an open door, what looks like a dead end is the beginning of a new chapter and what looks like a closed case is an entrance into a whole new world. Jesus died as a result of the occurrences of the crucifixion, He was eventually put in a tomb and it looked like the end of the story. The authorities had commanded that the rock  rolled over the entrance to His tomb be sealed so that no one moves it or goes there. Even in death Jesus...

John 1:16 Grace is fuel for the journey of life. Grace helps and enhances us in life. Grace qualifies us for what we need to do in life and helps us make it to the finish line of life successfully. Our lives can be likened to cars, and life itself can be likened to an individual race each person is running. 1 Corinthians 9:24 A car that has no fuel cannot race. A car that ran out of fuel during the race will not make it to the finish line. What fuel is to vehicles is what grace is to us on the journey of life, and even more. A car that had been stuck, that's been immobile due to an empty tank will begin to run efficiently once fuel, diesel, or electricity has been supplied to it. Grace is what we need to make it. As fuel gets a vehicle that was immobile on an empty tank moving, grace gets us moving in life and destiny. Fuel transforms the state of a vehicle from being stuck and grounded when its on an empty tank to moving and functioning efficiently, grace does the same thing for ...

Proverbs 24:10 Life will demand strength from you, whether its physical, mental, or spiritual strength or all of them. You need strength for the journey of life. You need strength to survive the storms of life, you need strength to ride out the tempest that may come your way on life's journey. On the journey of life we need to know where to get strength when our strength reserves are being depleted. Just as cars need to top up their fuel at the gas/fuel station, we need to top up our strength too on the journey of life. Electric cars recharge at certain points, diesel cars also get fuel at gas stations. If they don't, the car will stop and refuse to move at some point. In the same manner, when our strength is not replenished we will start functioning below our best at some point. When you are tired, fatigued, or weak, where do you go to receive strength? Feeling weak is not an offence, feeling fatigued is not a crime, neither is feeling tired a sin. Life's issues and chal...

Psalm 46:1 Our scripture passage informs us that God is our present help in time of need! That means God is ever present to help us.. It means God is ever present to hear us. It means God is ever present see and know what we are going through.  It means God is on hand to intervene in our favor. Faith is now. Faith is a present tense reality. Mark 11:24 God is a faith God, a now God. He is the God of our present moment. There are times when you might need the manifestation of a miracle eagerly. He is the God of your present moment reality, the one who helps you in the now, who doesn't delay your miracle till tomorrow. There are times in life's journey you may need a miracle desperately. There are moments in life you need God to come through for you right now, right there and then because of the seriousness and urgency of your matter. Such times are not the time you need a Pastor or church giving you a long list of prayer points to pray for 21 days. Such times are not the time yo...

Psalm 16:11 Our text passage shows us there is joy and there are pleasures in the presence of God. There is a type of joy we will never know or experience except we get into His presence. We can access the presence of God and go into the presence of God regularly even daily. In life we want joy, we all wish to live a life of joy. In life we also want pleasures, that is why we seek all sorts of entertainment. But those pleasures we get here are fleeting, they are temporary. There is long lasting and permanent joy in the Lord's presence. We access the presence of God through singing, through songs, the Lord loves music . Psalm 100:2 Our rest is found in the Lord's presence. Life can have its turbulent moments. Life can have its difficult seasons. That's why we need rest. We have to find rest. True rest, in a difficult world is found in the Lord's presence. Exodus 33:14 The presence of God is also called the secret place. We also access it through prayer . Hebrews 4:16 We...

Job 14: 7-9 Growth is the plan and will of God. Nature shows this and the scriptures informs us so. Our text passage shows us a tree stomp can grow again at the scent of water. This means the tree stomp had grown or was once growing before something went wrong. It was cut down and water was taken away from it. At the scent of water it started growing again. Water is life, it represents life spiritually, which Jesus Christ gives. Water also represents grace. May God water our lives with His grace! The grace of God waters our lives, enriching us. 2 Corinthians 8:9 Growth means development, evolving, changing, transforming, increasing, and rising. Children grown into adults, hobbies can grown into businesses and income streams, seeds evolve into plants, chicks grown into hens and cockerels, puppies grown into dogs and kittens into cats. Every animal was once at a baby stage and they evolve from there by growing into their adult form. When a farmer plants a seed, he expects it to grow. As ...

1 Samuel 16:13 It is God who makes kings. It is God who creates royalty. It is God who chooses leadership. It is God who brings about royal lines, and royal lineages on earth. He does it in His sovereign will and plan. He choses kings. He lifts up kings and brings down kings. He brings people before royalty. He makes royals out of non royals. He does so according to His purposes. He does so by His Spirit. There is a dimension of God's Spirit that makes royals, both spiritual and earthly royals. It is called the Spirit of the Lord. This was that dimension of the Holy Spirits anointing that came upon David. The Spirit of the Lord makes royalty of men and can make a dynasty of kingship from a family and lineage. The Spirit of the Lord makes wisdom available to those who have it. Wisdom rewards and honors men. Proverbs 4:8,9 Wisdom is a requirement for leaders and rulers. Wisdom is often associated with kings God has chosen- King Saul before he departed from the Lord, Joseph in Egypt,...

Judges 16:28 Our text passage shows us God remembered Samson and granted him his heart desire. God answered Samson's prayer. In remembering Samson, Samson's prayer was answered and he performed one final exploit which fulfilled his life's mission on earth. It is a beautiful thing for God to remember you. When God remembers you for good get ready for good things. When God remembered Samson, his prayer was answered and he was honored with strength while his enemies the Philistines were destroyed. Judges 16:28-30 Every time God remembers a person or a people for good in scriptures it is either for honor or deliverance. This is when God remembers a person for good. May God honor and deliver us. God is not blind that He cannot see us. God is not deaf that He cannot hear us. God is not armless or his hands too short that He cannot stretch out His hands to deliver. Isaiah 59: 1-2 Isaiah 50: 2 God is not a carved image made from wood, God is not some small pocket god that we carry ...

Acts 1:8  There is a power that makes a human being more than a mere mortal. There is a spiritual power that answers to all areas and issues of life. There is a power that makes our lives whole, healed, well and established. There is a power that makes us effective in our life's assignment, calling and responsibilities. Acts 1:8 There is a power that brings salvation and attracts people to your God. There is a power that establishes families, businesses, careers and the work of a man's hand. Humanity was not originally created powerless. We were created with the blessing of the Lord. Genesis 1:26,28 To be blessed is to be empowered, it is an empowerment to succeed. The Lord would have us succeed. Your life needs power. You have a need for power so as to win every warfare against you. Ephesians 6:12 You need power to prevail in life. A powerless man, a mere man can be swallowed up in life at any moment. When the power of God is in and upon you, what took out others will not take...

Genesis 49: 1-28 Our text passage shows us Israel praying over his twelve sons and telling them what was to befall them in the years ahead of them. It's a very insightful passage we can draw many life lessons and spiritual lessons from. The power of a fathers prayer over his children, especially a godly father is very powerful. Jacob who became Israel is one of the father's of faith. He is the grandson of Abraham and the son of Isaac. Jacob was a man of great destiny. He was a man of God,  he was prophetic and he had encounters with God., great encounters of God. One of the places where we see the prophetic dimension at work the most in Jacob/Israel's life is in his fatherly/patriarchal blessing to  each of his twelve sons. Through Jacob/Israel's prayer for his sons we see the power of a father's prayer for his children. The words of Jacob/Israel during his prophetic prayers for his twelve sons show us not only what had happened in the lives of his sons up till the ...

Exodus 15:22-26 Our text passage shows us bitter water turning to sweet water. This happened through God's intervention through His prophet. God can make your life sweet. The application of the cross, the wisdom of God to our bitter situation converts that which is bitter to sweetness. The tree or branch thrown into the bitter water represents the cross of Jesus Christ and the wisdom of God. God specializes in making the bitter sweet. It was what the ministry of Jesus Christ was all about.- turning the life and destiny of people from that which is bitter to that which is sweet. Isaiah 61:1-7 We see similar experiences in other passages of the scripture where bitter scenarios as a result of unpleasant experiences were converted to sweet experiences. The blind receiving their sight is sweetness to the blind. The lame walking is sweetness to the lame. The demon possessed getting delivered is sweetness to the oppressed. Those burdened and yoke laden being set free is sweetness to their...

Zechariah 4:6 Mountains can be levelled. Challenges can be overcome. Enemies can be defeated. However it doesn't happen in our human power or by human strength. It happens by God's Spirit! We can only go so far without the help of the Spirit of God. We can only achieve so much without the Spirit of God. We can not achieve supernatural things without God's Spirit. Men who fulfill their destinies do it by the Spirit of God. Men who don't go wrong achieve it by the Spirit of God. The ministry of the Holy Spirit is so important to us. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God with you. He is an excellent Spirit you can have a relationship with. He guides, He leads, He reminds, He communicates, He helps, He advocates, He fights and He reveals. We cannot defeat the lions of life without the Spirit of God and the might He gives. Judges 14:5-6 The Spirit of might dimension of the Holy Spirit was the secret of Samson. Judges 13:25 We cannot shift and overcome the mountains and block...

Champions win. Champions are visible. They are visible because they have been winning. Winning is a key to visibility. If you keep winning in life's affairs, your world will begin to notice you. And you should win, God would have you win. You can be and you should be visible for the Lord. Light is visible, if it is not it is darkness. You are not called to darkness, you are called to light, we are called to be the lights of the world through Christ Jesus! Light wins, darkness loses. Darkness always bows to light. Champions are light in their jurisdiction and habitation. King David was called the light of Israel. He led the armies of his nation into battle and always came back victorious. He never lost any battle on the battlefield. From the moment that young man went into battle against Goliath and won, he was visible in the land and kept winning his battles. David was a champion, a champion of light! Goliath, the Philistine giant he defeated on the battlefield was a champion too...

Exodus 4:1-5 Our text passage shows us God asking Moses what he had in his hand. The answer is a rod, a shepherd's rod which God would use mightily. What Moses had in his hand was all God needed. God doesn't ask us to give what we do not have. It is the kingdom of darkness who inconvenience people, asking for all sorts of things people can't get or what people do not have. Anyone who inconveniences people to handover or give what is beyond them more often than not is a false prophet or false minister of the gospel. Ezekiel 34:10 There is no time you do not have something to offer the Lord. There is no time you do not have something to potentially change your fortunes through God. Your prayer, your praise, your giving, your service, your skill, your kindness to the less privileged are seed you can sow. They are things you can give. The widow who gave two mites in the temple gave the least in the eyes of men but in the sight of Jesus Christ she gave the most. Mark 12:41-44 Th...
