THE EYES OF FAITH (Transcript)

Text: Ephesians 1:18

Faith has eyes.
Bible faith 'sees'. It is based on understanding.
True faith sees in the lightof God's Word.
The ability to deeply understand the scriptures is what it means to see in the light of God's Word.
When we begin to understand the Bible to the point of having mentalpictures that are clear and well defined of what we read and meditate on, we are then getting to the place of understanding.
You cannot separate understanding from the eyes of faith, they go together.

There is a principle in God's Kingdom that 'what you see by faith is what you get'. Genesis 15:5
That's why using and understanding the eyes of your faith is important. We cannot separate the eyes of our faith, understanding wich is also called intelligence from  our heart.
This is why the state of our heart is so important. Understanding is the eyes of faith. Understanding is of the heart. And out of the heart comes the issues of life. Proverbs 4:23

Our heart is where we 'mix' the message we have heard with faith so that the Word of God we hear can profit us. Hebrews 4:2
The eyes of our heart is the eyes of our faith.
True faith comes from an understanding of God's Word put in our heart.
Your understanding in this context is the mental picture of God's Word you received when studying God's Word.
Your heart is your human spirit.
Man is a three dimensional creation.
Man is a tripartite being- he has a body, he has a soul, and he has a spirit which is also called spirit man. Genesis 2:7
The breath of God is spirit.
The breath of God is not ordinary air or wind.
When God breathed into the nostrils of Adam, he received Spirit inside Him. Since then man has had a spirit man.
The body goes back to the earth when we die, but the spirit of man is God's because it's from God. It is the spirit in man that gives life to the soul.
It was when Adam received spirit which is God's breath that his soul came alive.
So God owns the breath in us, God owns our spirit.
There is nothing we have that has not been given to us by God.
John 20:22- the Spirit comes by God's breath
The Holy Spirit helps our faith. The Holy Spirit can cooperate with our human spirit to give our spirit man inspiration and understanding. This understanding is the eyes of faith

Just like Abraham, our faith must be intact and we must use it. Romans 4:20,21
Just like Abraham used his faith to get God's approval and blessing, we must use our faith to get God's commendation and receive the promises of God. Romans 4:13
Our faith brings us into righteousness and right standing with God. Romans 3:22
The Holy Spirit is ready to help your faith. The Holy Spirit is ready to open the eyes of your faith by giving you understanding.
Hebrews 11:1-3- substance, evidence, not seen

People may not see the Word of God you confess regularly but they cannot deny the impact it will produce. The Word of God when held to will create what you need.
We were not there when God created all we see but today we cannot deny the impact and manifestation of what God created by speaking in faith.
We are products of God's creation from Genesis chapter 1.

God knew within Himself what He wanted and created it by His Spirit and is Word.
Both God's Spirit and God's Word are available to us today. God is still in te business of creating and manifesting things.
God wants to manifest beautiful things in your life but you have to cooperate with God.
God has created man as an agent who is free to make choices, and our choices will determine whether God will do what He wants to do in our lives.
Using your faith is a choice.
Understanding faith and using it is part of cooperating with God.
Using the eyes of your faith is a choice you must make, as you use it God will cooperate with you.
When God works with you, you will have results, you will be fruitful, you will start manifesting God's dreams for you.

The eyes of faith also called the eyes of our understanding becomes enlightened when we fill our hearts with God's Word and promises.
Commit today to go on a 'journey' in God's Word.
It is a journey full of spiritual beauty and glories.
Get into God's Words, meditate on them.
Ponder on God's promises for your life.
Speak God's promises into your situation.
Act on what you see in God's Word.
Ask the Holy Spirit to work with you daily.

Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18

The Importance Of The Anointing

Acts 10:38 The anointing is the presence of the Holy Spirit with a person. The anointing speaks, the anointing directs, and the anointing teaches people what they need to know and do. 1 John 2:27 You need the anointing. You can grow in the anointing. It is also possible to depart from the anointing. The anointing won't depart from you but you can depart from the anointing. You should remain in Him. It is worth it investing time to understand the your anointing, growing in your anointing and obeying the anointing. As you get to know a person better by spending time with them, so it is with the anointing in your life. With the anointing, you can't go wrong. The anointing strategically positions you in God's kingdom and in life. Jesus was full of the Holy Spirit. Colossians 2:9 Jesus had the anointing when He was here on earth. Jesus is our example of what our life can be when we have the anointing. Hebrews 12:2 Jesus knew His purpose. Luke 2:49 Jesus

Navigating A New Year

Isaiah  42:16 Our text passage above shows us God is the one who shows us the path to take and leads us in new directions. Your path matters to God. The way you you choose to take is important to God. Your steps are seen by God and ordered by God. Psalm 37:23 The year ahead of you matters to God too. Luke 13:8-9 Each year God has given you the grace to witness, experience, and journey through is another opportunity to be fruitful for God. God wants you to make the most of the year ahead of you to His glory. Human beings do not always know the way and path to go, we can be limited in wisdom. History shows we do not always make the best choices. The year ahead of us will require knowing the way to go, having the wisdom to make the best decisions and choices. Deuteronomy 30:19 To successfully navigate the year we need to stay in God.. To navigate is to find your way through, it is following the right path to a specific destination. Car drivers either buy a GPS/Navigation device system or
