Text: Hebrews 6:5
There is a power at work in you.
Faith is part of God's plan and God's design for His children not to be limited.
Faith is a quality of heaven, a quality and virtue in God, put in mortal man. This is why faith is precious. 2 Peter 1:1
Faith is part of your treasure in earthen vessels.
Faith is your protection from the devil.
Faith is likened to a shield in Ephesians 6, so it is by faith we are able to resist all the attacks people and the kingdom of darkness throw at us.
Your faith intimidates the devil and it is seen in the spirit realm. eg. the devil saw Job's faith.
Your faith intimidates the devil and that's why the devil attacks your faith and seeks to keep you out of faith.
The doubts, the anger, the frustrations and the people who disturb your peace are all what the enemy throws at you, they are intended to take you away from the place of faith.
There is a power at work in you.
It is a power that is alien to this world because it is not of this world.
It is a power that is effective and exclusively for God's sons and daughters.
That power is your faith and it makes all things possible to you. Ephesians 3:20
Faith is not of this world, it is from God's Kingdom.

2 Corinthians 4:7
Faith can be strange to common sense because it's not common, faith can seem ridiculous to logic and reason because it is of the Spirit not the flesh.
Faith operates beyond the five senses of sight, smell, touch, hearing and taste.

Hebrews 11:1
Faith is highly misunderstood.
Faith is not hope, hope is a positive expectation of what God is going to do for you, a positive expectation of what's going to happen for you.
Many people misunderstand faith and mix it up for hope.
Both have power, but hope is more of an expectation, while faith is more of trust, conviction and an assurance.

Don't allow anyone to move you away from the place of faith.

There are powers that God has given to his children as Hebrews 6:5 shows us, faith is one of those powers.
There are powers that God has given to his children as Hebrews 6:5 shows us, faith is one of those powers.
The life of Jesus Christ was a continuous demonstration of those powers.

2) The power to get wealth- Deuteronomy 8:18
3) The power to succeed- Joshua 1:8
4) The power to become a son of God- John 1:12
5) The power to work miracles- Mark 16:17
6) The power to witness- Acts 1:8
7) The power to sacrifice- Luke 21:1-4
8) The power to love- Romans 5:5
9) Power Over The Enemy-Luke 10:19
"A small body of determined spirits fired by an unquenchable faith in their mission can alter the course of history"
Faith is a leveller.

Your faith if used can make up for what you lack or where you are deficient.
God is not asking us to be spectacular, the most gifted, the strongest, the most talented or the one with the best opportunities and education. These are not the things God requires of us because He is the giver of these things.
What God requires of us is that we use our faith, for God can give us faith but He does make us use it, using your God given faith is your personal responsibility.
The things God will not do for us are the things He usually requires of us. God requires thatwe praise Him, He instructs it because He cannot praise Himself, He requires we use our faith because He cannot make us use it without our free will.
God can give you the desire to worship Him but He can't force you to worship Him, worship is an act that requires your will and your choice.
God wants us to obey Him but He won't force it. Your obedience requires your effort, your obedience decision.
Your faith is also an endowment from God that you must choose to use.
The Apostle Paul was a very gifted man.

The Apostle Paul was a very gifted man.
He had respect, influence and a great education. He dual citizenship and spoke about five languages.
He had all this in is favor before he found God while he was still called Saul.
But he realized all this is nothing compared to his faith. He placed more value on his faith, on his relationship with God than any earthly achievement.
Do you value your faith, do you value your relationship with God?
Do you know angels envy your salvation and they value the faith that God put into you?
Do you value what you carry?
Many of the challenges christians face in the form of attacks is to break our faith.
The devil is threatened by the faith God has given you, and God is pleased and delighted when we understand the faith He has given us and use it.

Matthew 8:5-13
The faith that pleases God is not complicated faith rooted in loads of programs, rituals, self made and self imposed ideas and works, but the simple faith that trusts and has conviction in God's Word.
Psalm 107:20- this is the type of faith the centurion in Matthew 8:5-13 had, and Jesus praised this type of faith!
