DON'T GIVE UP. (Transcript)

One of the things we are able to see from the Bible is that the world and every physical creation has it's root in a spirit source.
God is that spirit source. Genesis 1:1
So creation emerged from God's Spirit dimension and creation is maintained by God who is Spirit.
Psalm 8:1,3,4
When things went wrong it was also from the spirit realm.
The devil is a spirit, a fallen angel and it was his deception that has put humanity and the world in the bad shape it is today.
The devil took on the image of a serpent and deceived the first woman Eve who made her husband by the name of Adam to sin. Genesis 3:1-19
The curse that came upon humanity is from a spiritual source, the deception of humanity was from a spirit source and many of the challenges we go through have spiritual roots or sources.
Man is so used to the physical dimension of the five senses of touch, smell, hearing, sight and taste.
We tend to think everything including our problems are limited to the physical dimension, so we begin to seek for help in places where there is no help.
We take the call to pray and spiritual exercises with levity, we devise all kinds of physical means to solve our issues.
The spirit controls the physical.
The Spirit realm created the physical realm. The spirit realm is more real than the physical realm.
Prayer is one of the ways we can control things from the spirit realm.
If everyone understood this, prayer meetings will always be full. Wise people don't give up on prayer and my encouragement to you is not to give up on prayer, especially sincere Bible based prayer
The hope that humanity has is also from a spirit source. Colossians 1:27

Delivered on the 4th of February 2015 @ THE LIGHT OF JESUS CHRIST ASSEMBLY MINISTRIES Wednesday prayer meeting.

Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18

The Importance Of The Anointing

Acts 10:38 The anointing is the presence of the Holy Spirit with a person. The anointing speaks, the anointing directs, and the anointing teaches people what they need to know and do. 1 John 2:27 You need the anointing. You can grow in the anointing. It is also possible to depart from the anointing. The anointing won't depart from you but you can depart from the anointing. You should remain in Him. It is worth it investing time to understand the your anointing, growing in your anointing and obeying the anointing. As you get to know a person better by spending time with them, so it is with the anointing in your life. With the anointing, you can't go wrong. The anointing strategically positions you in God's kingdom and in life. Jesus was full of the Holy Spirit. Colossians 2:9 Jesus had the anointing when He was here on earth. Jesus is our example of what our life can be when we have the anointing. Hebrews 12:2 Jesus knew His purpose. Luke 2:49 Jesus

Navigating A New Year

Isaiah  42:16 Our text passage above shows us God is the one who shows us the path to take and leads us in new directions. Your path matters to God. The way you you choose to take is important to God. Your steps are seen by God and ordered by God. Psalm 37:23 The year ahead of you matters to God too. Luke 13:8-9 Each year God has given you the grace to witness, experience, and journey through is another opportunity to be fruitful for God. God wants you to make the most of the year ahead of you to His glory. Human beings do not always know the way and path to go, we can be limited in wisdom. History shows we do not always make the best choices. The year ahead of us will require knowing the way to go, having the wisdom to make the best decisions and choices. Deuteronomy 30:19 To successfully navigate the year we need to stay in God.. To navigate is to find your way through, it is following the right path to a specific destination. Car drivers either buy a GPS/Navigation device system or
