Isaiah 54: 5-8
To be redeemed in simple terms is to be bought back.
It implies a value has been placed on you.
It means a price has been used to purchase you.
The redeemer is the relative who pays the purchasing price to boy us back from slavery.
Redemption takes us from darkness into light, from slavery into freedom.
Redemption places value on you because you are bought back at a price more than your original value!
Jesus Christ is our redeemer!
He is our kinsman redeemer!
He is our relative, our kin by virtue of salvation, by accepting His salvation by faith!
His blood redeems us and makes us His relatives.
Redemption brings us into a new spiritual reality.
