Oracles Of God

 1 Peter 4:11

An oracle of God must know God's mind.

Our text passage reveals God wants those who identify with His word to represent Him properly and accurately.

To do so, we are encouraged to speak as oracles.

An oracle communicates the words and mind of a deity/divine being on matters.

A man/woman who is an oracle of God is one who speaks as though God Himself were speaking through him/her.

To speak as an oracle is to have and be filled with the Holy Spirit, allowing Him to speak through us.

The Holy Spirit helps us know things to come, He communicates the Father's mind and purposes to us.

John 16:13

He gives us the mind of Christ to understand, know, and communicate God's word.

1 Corinthians 2:16

Speaking as an oracle of God helps us accurately teach and communicate God's heart for the present.

Speaking as an oracle of God enables us to be a blessing to people, it enables us to use divine utterances to help many.

1 Kings 17:10-16

There are issues of life that can come up which no man can solve in human wisdom, with human training or life's experience.

There are challenges beyond man that require divine intervention.

This is a reason God raises men up that He speaks through as oracles.

When a man/woman is speaking as an oracle of God not only is the mind and intentions of God being communicated, solutions and answers are being released to fix issues, situations, and problems.

We see this through the lives of men like Elijah, Elisha, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

In their earthly ministries they spoke and it happened, they decreed and it came to pass, they blessed and blessings manifested, they prophesied and it happened according to their word.

God hasn't stopped using men.

He desires to use you too

You can become a true oracle through who God's Spirit works, makes decrees, and prays.

Being an oracle of God answers to having the mind of Christ.

To have the mind of Christ is to be connected to the heart of our heavenly Father.

Philippians 2:5-8

When we are divinely connected in this kind of way we can speak God's view on issues, and  matters that concern us and others.

We can communicate God's view and perspective on personal and public matters, pray God's will and decree it because of the mind of Christ.

Moving Forward Against All Odds

 2 kings 2:8-24 The forty two youths mocking Prophet Elisha in our text passage represent forty two different ways, problems, or odds the enemy can use to try and stop us. It is God's will that you go forward in life (make progress) despite the odds stacked against you. Each challenge, problem, setback, or odd from the enemy to stop you from moving forward is due for a curse. Just like Daniel of old who purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the delicacies from King Nebuchadenezzer's table, purpose in your heart that nothing will stop you from moving forward in God and with God. Trust The Process

 God is a sovereign God who rules in the affairs of men. Daniel 4:32 God is interested in the affairs of His creation and pays attention to every single detail about humanity and all His other works of creation. Luke 12:6,7 That includes you, God is interested in you. Matthew 6:26-32 Since God created you and loves you, you can trust His process for your life. The God who created you knows you. He not only knows you He is intentional about you. Genesis 1:31 He has a plan, a good plan for you. He has an expected end for you. Jeremiah 29:11 This means He has a blueprint for your life.
