Psalm 37:4
God promises to satisfy the hunger of His people. Matthew 5:6
The hunger and thirst referred to in Matthew 5:6 is is your desire.
Prayer is very important to the believer.
Our desire is also very important.
What you desire is what you will aspire for.
What you desire is what you will pray about.
What you desire is what you want.
What you desire is what God will give to you, if you delight in Him.
God knows we fall emotionally sick when we don't receive our desire. Proverbs 13:12
Your desire is your hunger.
Your desire is what you will be passionate about before God and man.
Your desire is what will keep you motivated when others stop.
One of the major reasons we don't achieve the things we want is because we loose motivation.
We loose motivation to achieve what we want because we give up on our desire.
The Bible doesn't show us that Nehemiah heard a voice from God to go and build the walls of Jerusalem, but he had a strong desire to do so. As he acted on his inner desire he entered his God given purpose.
God puts desires inside people.
You know your desire is of God if it is good and benefits other people and yourself.
God answers the prayers we pray about the desires He put inside us.
There are desires that are of the flesh and when we give in to that type of hunger it makes us sin against God. 1 Corinthians 7:2
The way to overcome negative desires is to yield to the Spirit of God. Galatians 5:16
Desire (good desire) goes along with prayer.
