Patience: A Key To Answered Prayer

1 Corinthians 13:4,5

Our primary responsibility as Christians is to love
In the Bible verse above we find that patience is the first quality of love.
Prayer works by faith, faith works with patience. Hebrews 6:12

Patience is a requirement  to possessing or receiving what is ours. Luke 21:19
Many people have missed out on what is theirs due to impatience.
"The biggest mistakes you will make in life will occur as a result of impatience" {Mike Murdock}
James 5:7,8

Imagine a farmer who is not patient enough to wait for the season of harvest. Such a farmer will miss the harvest that is due to him because the farmer couldn't wait for the due season of harvest. He will dig out his seed because he hasn't seen a harvest within a short while or he may stop watering the seed and the seed will die in the soil.
That seed had potential, it would have brought him results.
The issue was not with the seed but the impatience of the farmer.
An understanding farmer won't do that.
Patience is evidence of understanding.

Our prayers can be seeds that will produce results in our life in the immediate future or inthe distant future, but we need patience to receive the harvest of prayer. Isaiah 40:31, Hebrews 12:1

I once heard the story of a man who was clearing out a pathway in a cave looking for diamonds but unfortunately he gave up at the edge of his breakthrough, he was one more strike away from becoming as wealthy man as there was just a thin layer of rock between him and lots of diamonds, but he gave up and went home disappointed, he got tired and impatient trying.
Another diamond seeker came to the same cave and with one strike with his tool the thin layer of rock came down and he found lots of diamonds!
The first hardworking but impatient man had made the job easy for him!

I believe the first man who lost the reward of his hard work due to impatience falls into the category of those who fall by the wayside in life, while the second man who got the diamonds is in the category of those who reap the labor of others.
Jesus was clear about it, it is possible to reap where others have sown and reap the labor of others.

Patience can make you reap the labor of the impatient.

Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18

Navigating A New Year

Isaiah  42:16 Our text passage above shows us God is the one who shows us the path to take and leads us in new directions. Your path matters to God. The way you you choose to take is important to God. Your steps are seen by God and ordered by God. Psalm 37:23 The year ahead of you matters to God too. Luke 13:8-9 Each year God has given you the grace to witness, experience, and journey through is another opportunity to be fruitful for God. God wants you to make the most of the year ahead of you to His glory. Human beings do not always know the way and path to go, we can be limited in wisdom. History shows we do not always make the best choices. The year ahead of us will require knowing the way to go, having the wisdom to make the best decisions and choices. Deuteronomy 30:19 To successfully navigate the year we need to stay in God.. To navigate is to find your way through, it is following the right path to a specific destination. The Importance Of The Anointing

Acts 10:38 The anointing is the presence of the Holy Spirit with a person. The anointing speaks, the anointing directs, and the anointing teaches people what they need to know and do. 1 John 2:27 You need the anointing. You can grow in the anointing. It is also possible to depart from the anointing. The anointing won't depart from you but you can depart from the anointing. You should remain in Him. It is worth it investing time to understand the your anointing, growing in your anointing and obeying the anointing. As you get to know a person better by spending time with them, so it is with the anointing in your life. With the anointing, you can't go wrong. The anointing strategically positions you in God's kingdom and in life. Jesus was full of the Holy Spirit. Colossians 2:9 Jesus had the anointing when He was here on earth. Jesus is our example of what our life can be when we have the anointing. Hebrews 12:2 Jesus knew His purpose. Luke 2:49 Jesus
