The Missing Part Of Faith

Mark 10: 52
Matthew 17:20
Romans 1:17 Matthew 21:21

Many people do not really understandwhat faith is.
Faith is not morality.
You don't need to be a follower of Christ to be moral.  There are unbelievers who are very moral people by human standards. Eg. Mahatma Ghandi
There are people who are very disciplined, people who don't smoke, who don't commit sexual sins, who are sincere with money and seem to always do the right thing yet they don't have Bible faith.
Eg. the rich young ruler
Mark 10:17-31
There are people who have died for what they believe, people who have determination and conviction. Yet they didn't have true faith, Bible faith.
Some people think because they are moralistic like the rich young ruler, God is pleased with them.
The only thing the Bible tells us pleases God is our faith. Hebrews 11:6

This is why it's so important we truly understand what faith is according to God's Word.
Hebrews 11:1
Bible faith is not mere risk taking. True faith produces results, risk taking does not always produce results.
True faith always pleases God.
Risk taking does not always please God.
Did Lucifer's risk please God?
When Lucifer rebelled against God he took a risk and he is still taking risks today, but does it please God? Isaiah 14:13-16
True faith is not always about having results.
Whether it's academic results, financial results, career success or material results, results don't always determine your faith.

Paul as Saul had results but not true faith. Philippians 3:4-8
If your faith is based purely on results, you can easily give up when answers to prayers aren't coming.
The rich young ruler had results but not true faith.
Luke 18:23
There are billionaires and educated people on this earth who don't have a relationship with God, yet they have results in different areas of their lives.
True faith generates the results of good reports.
Hebrews 11:2
True faith is not belief.
That you believe in God doesn'tmeant you have true faith. Believeing is very important, the Bible encourages and advisesus to believe God.
But faith is what pleases God. Hebrews 11:6
Demons believe in God but they don't please God.
James 2:19

So what is true faith?
True faith is founded on knowledge.
Knowledge of God's Word is the foundation of faith. Romans 10:17
If you don't have a good knowledge of God's Word the measureof faith in you cannot be activated.
Faith is the Word of God activated.
Go for the Word of God!
Knowledge ofGod's Word is the starting point of faith. Romans 10:13-15
But a knowledge of God's Word doesn't mean you have true faith. It could mean you believe the Word of God.
A knowledge of God's Word helps your belief.
Believing God is an ingredient in faith, but it's not faith itself.

What is the missing part of faith?
Works is themisingpart of faith.James 2:14-24
Works is not do's and dont's like many people think.
What use would it have been if Davi believed God could kill Goliath but he didn't allow God to use him to kill Goliath?
What use would it have been if Paul the Apostle believed God can perform special miracles but he didn't allow God to use him to bring about those miracles? Acts 19:11-12
What use would it be if Jesus knew the Father can save the world but He doesn't allow the Father to send him to bring about salvation on the cross? Philippians 2:8

True faith is hard work. Jude 1:3
Works, is allowing God to work through us to bring about His will.
When we have faith with works we will be responsible and not leave what we can do to someone else.

Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18

The Importance Of The Anointing

Acts 10:38 The anointing is the presence of the Holy Spirit with a person. The anointing speaks, the anointing directs, and the anointing teaches people what they need to know and do. 1 John 2:27 You need the anointing. You can grow in the anointing. It is also possible to depart from the anointing. The anointing won't depart from you but you can depart from the anointing. You should remain in Him. It is worth it investing time to understand the your anointing, growing in your anointing and obeying the anointing. As you get to know a person better by spending time with them, so it is with the anointing in your life. With the anointing, you can't go wrong. The anointing strategically positions you in God's kingdom and in life. Jesus was full of the Holy Spirit. Colossians 2:9 Jesus had the anointing when He was here on earth. Jesus is our example of what our life can be when we have the anointing. Hebrews 12:2 Jesus knew His purpose. Luke 2:49 Jesus

Navigating A New Year

Isaiah  42:16 Our text passage above shows us God is the one who shows us the path to take and leads us in new directions. Your path matters to God. The way you you choose to take is important to God. Your steps are seen by God and ordered by God. Psalm 37:23 The year ahead of you matters to God too. Luke 13:8-9 Each year God has given you the grace to witness, experience, and journey through is another opportunity to be fruitful for God. God wants you to make the most of the year ahead of you to His glory. Human beings do not always know the way and path to go, we can be limited in wisdom. History shows we do not always make the best choices. The year ahead of us will require knowing the way to go, having the wisdom to make the best decisions and choices. Deuteronomy 30:19 To successfully navigate the year we need to stay in God.. To navigate is to find your way through, it is following the right path to a specific destination. Car drivers either buy a GPS/Navigation device system or
