VICTORY THAT IS CERTAIN (transcript)

Text: 2 Corinthians 2:14

If you are a child of God, succeeding, triumphing and overcoming which results in victory is your right.
There is an aura, a favor that God puts upon those that He loves, He puts it upon those who are pleasing to Him, those who are in covenant relationship with the Father through Jesus Christ 2 Corinthians 2:15. This sweet savor is what is popularly known as favor and it is a vital ingredient in God's victory formula for our lives.
2 Corinthians 2:15 showed us that favor affects everyone, both the believer and non believer respond to the favor of God on our lives.
Favor will always preceed victory.
Our Lord Jesus Christ needed favor when He was on earth, if Jesus needed favor you will need favor to. Luke 2:52
There is a correlation between your victory and your favor.
The more favor you have the more victory you will enjoy. The less favor you have less the victory you will have.
God is the same yesterday, today and forever, and we see in the Bible that favor is one of the ways He gets things done among His people.

The children of Israel are a classical example of this. They had been cheated, oppressed, and kept in bondage for many generations but by favor a whole nation received her victory and came out of slavery in one day. They came out of Egypt strong, rich and restored. Exodus 12:35,36
Everything they had been denied of, everything their fathers had been denied of in the land of Egypt, this favored generation received in one day.
There are different types of victory, victory is as varied as the different sides of our lives.
There is career victory
There is spiritual victory- Acts 6:10, John 3:31
There is a victory of the soul- 1 Corinthians 2:16
There is material and financial victory- Matthew 17:24 to 27
There is victory over enemies- Daniel 3:19-30
There is victory in the area of academics- Daniel 1: 17, Daniel 1:18-20
There is marital victory- Songs of Solomon 1:3
There is social victory- Luke 2:52
There is victory over the world system- 1 John 4:4
The good news is that in whichever area of your life you need victory, there is provision for your victory in Jesus Christ. 1 John 5:4
It glorifies God when we are successful, His will for us is all round success and all round victory.

Apart from favor we also obtain victory by faith.
Faith is a strategy from God's Kingdom to get the results God wants us to have Hebrews 11:1
It is an absolute confidence in God, a trust in God and a belief that despite contrary situations God will come through for us because He loves us.
Faith is a real and vital force that enhances your victory here on earth. Faith makes the impossible possible and breaks limitations of curses. Faith is the lifestyle we are called to live in God's Kingdom, we need faith to please God.
Every hero of faith in the Bible obtained their victory through faith.
The combination of faith and favor is necessary to see victory. When the favor of God is upon you and the faith of God is in your heart your victory will be certain.
Faith is the victory. If you're in faith your victory will manifest. If favor is on you, God and man respond to you. Faith ensures the delivery of what you have released your faith to God for, while favor ensures human cooperation for it's delivery.
As a child of God, faith is part of your lifestyle and favor is part of your inheritance. Psalm 5:12
Jesus didn't go through all He went through for you to live a defeated life. He died, resurrected and suffered for you to live a victorious life.
According to Revelation 5:12 Jesus has purchased everything you need for you to succeed, you are a joint heir with Jesus. Romans 8:17
And Jesus has given you everything that pertains to life and godliness. 2 Peter 1:3

David was an example among many that God gave victory to. Among all the Kings in the Bible David had the most battles to fight but he never lost any physical battle.
Like David, if you trust God by standing in faith and receive God's favor by obedience you will enjoy victory in every battle of life you have to face
When favor and faith is at work, strategies will be delivered to you by God for your victory.
God is the giver of strategies that lead to victory, and King David understood this. 1 Samuel 30:1-20

Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18

The Importance Of The Anointing

Acts 10:38 The anointing is the presence of the Holy Spirit with a person. The anointing speaks, the anointing directs, and the anointing teaches people what they need to know and do. 1 John 2:27 You need the anointing. You can grow in the anointing. It is also possible to depart from the anointing. The anointing won't depart from you but you can depart from the anointing. You should remain in Him. It is worth it investing time to understand the your anointing, growing in your anointing and obeying the anointing. As you get to know a person better by spending time with them, so it is with the anointing in your life. With the anointing, you can't go wrong. The anointing strategically positions you in God's kingdom and in life. Jesus was full of the Holy Spirit. Colossians 2:9 Jesus had the anointing when He was here on earth. Jesus is our example of what our life can be when we have the anointing. Hebrews 12:2 Jesus knew His purpose. Luke 2:49 Jesus

Navigating A New Year

Isaiah  42:16 Our text passage above shows us God is the one who shows us the path to take and leads us in new directions. Your path matters to God. The way you you choose to take is important to God. Your steps are seen by God and ordered by God. Psalm 37:23 The year ahead of you matters to God too. Luke 13:8-9 Each year God has given you the grace to witness, experience, and journey through is another opportunity to be fruitful for God. God wants you to make the most of the year ahead of you to His glory. Human beings do not always know the way and path to go, we can be limited in wisdom. History shows we do not always make the best choices. The year ahead of us will require knowing the way to go, having the wisdom to make the best decisions and choices. Deuteronomy 30:19 To successfully navigate the year we need to stay in God.. To navigate is to find your way through, it is following the right path to a specific destination. Car drivers either buy a GPS/Navigation device system or
