THE MANIFOLD WISDOM OF GOD Part 2 (transcript)

Text: Ephesians 3:10,11
Last week we began a message that this is the second part of, THE MANIFOLD WISDOM OF GOD.
We discovered that wisdom is that one quality and gift that applies to every area of our life and existence.
We discovered that wisdom is a gift of God
We saw from scripture that we need wisdom to fulfil our destinies and maximise our potential.
We were able to see that wisdom is necessary to live prosperous and dignified lives.
We observed from God's Word that God's wisdom answers to purity, righteousness and holiness for God lays up up sound wisdom for the righteous. Proverbs 2:7

We explored the benefits of wisdom:
1) Distinction- Daniel 6:3, Daniel 1:17, Genesis 41:38,39
2) Direction- Ecclesiastes 10:10
3) Happiness- Proverbs 3:18
4) Long life- Proverbs 3:16
5) Safety- Proverbs 3:23
6) Glory- Proverbs 3:35
7) Rest- Proverbs 3:24
8) Promotion- Proverbs 8:15,16 & Proverbs 4:8,9
9) Increases your wealth- Proverbs 8:18,21 & Proverbs 14:24
10) Wisdom brings favor and recognition- Proverbs 4:8 & Proverbs 8:34,35
11) Peace- Proverbs 3:16,17

There are different kinds of wisdom- the two major kinds of wisdom there is is seen in James 3:13-18
1) Wisdom from Above
2) Wisdom that's of the earth- is not spiritual and is demonic. This wisdom is of the flesh and is not inspired of God

Wisdom is revealed in two major ways-
1)By our actions/deeds (James 3:13)
2)By your Words (Luke 21:15)
The godly, heavenly, spiritual wisdom of God is superior to the earthly, fleshly, demonic wisdom of this world. Genesis 41:1-40
In the same manner the rod of Moses swallowed up the rod of the magicians of Pharaoh, the wisdom of God will always swallow up the wisdom of Satan. Exodus 7:12
The strategies of God, the methods of God, the plan of God, the intentions of God and the revelations of God are more beneficial in the long run to what Satan or the flesh has to offer us.
Wisdom pleases God, wisdom is part of God's blessing.
You can ask God for wisdom and receive it. James 1:5
Jesus died to get wisdom to you. Revelation 5:12
You are entitled to Godly wisdom wisdom as a son of God. Matthew 7:9-11
We are the righteousness of God in Christ- 2 Corinthians 5:21, Psalm 5:12

Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18

The Importance Of The Anointing

Acts 10:38 The anointing is the presence of the Holy Spirit with a person. The anointing speaks, the anointing directs, and the anointing teaches people what they need to know and do. 1 John 2:27 You need the anointing. You can grow in the anointing. It is also possible to depart from the anointing. The anointing won't depart from you but you can depart from the anointing. You should remain in Him. It is worth it investing time to understand the your anointing, growing in your anointing and obeying the anointing. As you get to know a person better by spending time with them, so it is with the anointing in your life. With the anointing, you can't go wrong. The anointing strategically positions you in God's kingdom and in life. Jesus was full of the Holy Spirit. Colossians 2:9 Jesus had the anointing when He was here on earth. Jesus is our example of what our life can be when we have the anointing. Hebrews 12:2 Jesus knew His purpose. Luke 2:49 Jesus

Navigating A New Year

Isaiah  42:16 Our text passage above shows us God is the one who shows us the path to take and leads us in new directions. Your path matters to God. The way you you choose to take is important to God. Your steps are seen by God and ordered by God. Psalm 37:23 The year ahead of you matters to God too. Luke 13:8-9 Each year God has given you the grace to witness, experience, and journey through is another opportunity to be fruitful for God. God wants you to make the most of the year ahead of you to His glory. Human beings do not always know the way and path to go, we can be limited in wisdom. History shows we do not always make the best choices. The year ahead of us will require knowing the way to go, having the wisdom to make the best decisions and choices. Deuteronomy 30:19 To successfully navigate the year we need to stay in God.. To navigate is to find your way through, it is following the right path to a specific destination. Car drivers either buy a GPS/Navigation device system or
