Acts 9: 1-8
Having a revelation of Jesus Christ is a life changing experience.
Jesus is a life changer and when He reveals Himself to you your life must change for the better. Saul's life turned around completely after an encounter that revealed Jesus to him.
Having a revelation of Jesus is an experience every believer should crave for, for it has loads of benefits for us now and in the world to come. Mark 10:29,30
Our investments in the Kingdom is never a waste. Matthew 19:29
Jesus is the most important man who ever lived. Jesus is the most powerful person who ever walked the face of this earth and He is the encounter every person should have.
He was 100% divine, yet He was 100% human when He walked the face of this earth.
Jesus and His Kingdom is the investment every business man and woman should make.
Jesus's teaching ministry was unparalleled.
He spoke with authority and taught like nobody else ever taught.
His ministry was creative, fresh, dynamic and colourful. You cannot invest in God's Kingdom with your time, talent, gifts and treasure and go wrong. Matthew 6:33
His wisdom is still being looked into and researched after walking on this earth over 2000 years ago. The mind of Jesus is miraculous and unique. 1 Corinthians 2:16
His significance and importance hasn't reduced since He ascended back to heaven. With the passage of time His relevance and importance seems to be increasing. Generation after generation will hear of Him if He tarries and His people and impact will continue to grow.
Kingdoms have come and gone but the Kingdom of God which Jesus brought is ever growing and expanding. Psalm 145:13
Kings have come and gone but Jesus is the King death could not limit. Jesus is the Master of death.
2 Timothy 1:10, Isaiah 25:8, Hebrews 2:14
Jesus humbled evil Spirits, manifested miracle money, conquered death, cast out sicknesses and diseases, fixed mangled bodies, turned water into wine, released understanding to people, He sent the Holy Ghost, He forgave sin, He came with a Kingdom, He reconciled humanity back to God, He overcame all temptation, He healed blind eyes, He made the lame walk, He walked on water, exhibited divine wisdom and raised the dead.
This is the kind of leader christians are privileged to follow. And following Jesus has privileges. Matthew 12:15, Luke 9:11, Matthew 20:34, Matthew 4:18-20
Even after having an encounter with the Lord Jesus it is important to seek His face for more revelations of Him. One encounter with Jesus is not all there is to Him. Philippians 3:10
Jesus is one with the Father. Whoever is united with the Lord is one with Him in Spirit. When you become one with Jesus evil spirits loose their power over you because Jesus is one with the Father who is the King of Spirits. 1 Corinthians 6:17, John 10:30, Hebrews 12:9
The body of Christ has a responsibility to pray more than ever before that Jesus will start revealing Himself to us more than ever before, and to our family and loved ones.
If truly we want revivals in our church, the body of Christ, among our family members and if we want to see a harvest of souls for the Lord and bring repentance to the world we will need to double our efforts and pray more.
If we don't want to see those we love- friends and relatives end up in the wrong side of eternity we will have to act promptly and quickly.
For us to be motivated for the task ahead we need to have revelations of Jesus Christ.
It was encounters with Jesus and revelations of Him that made the chief of sinners become one of the greatest soul winning instruments in the hand of God. Saul who became Paul.
It was revelations of Jesus that made the disciples of Jesus willing to die for the gospel.
It was revelations of Jesus that made the Apostles and followers of Jesus in Acts 17:6 "turn the world upside down" to God's glory.
Martyrs of Christ who died for the Lord over the years didn't mind doing so because they are men and women who had caught a revelation of Jesus.
They knew the Lord whose cause they were dying for is a master who is worth it.
The questions to us today are-
a) what are we doing for God?
b) do we really know Him?
c) are we investing where it really matters- in His Kingdom?
d) can we truthfully and honestly say we know Jesus as Lord and savior?
