The God Sent

Proverbs 21:1

Our text passage informs us the kings heart is in God's hand and He directs it as the rivers of water turning it as He wills.

A king is a leader and person of influence, usually with great wealth and in a position to bless you.

It is God who directs the heart of a king, it is God who directs the heart of men in the way He pleases.

God connects people, God can put us in the heart of people for good.

God is a God who connects people.

God is a God who links people together for His purposes, will, and assignments.

God brings friendships together for a purpose.

God permitted Jonathan the son of king Saul to love David the shepherd boy as much as he loved himself.

1 Samuel 18:1

There is a reason and purpose for that, it was to bring David closer to the palace, to the royal family and ultimately to bring David to his destiny which is to become king of Israel.

Jonathan consented to David's becoming the next king, which was to Jonathan's own giving up of what could have been his right and inheritance, after all Jonathan was King Saul's heir and the prince of the land. 

1 Samuel 18:3,4

Jonathan became  a friend and brother to David, he was a God sent person to David.

He was used to save David's life from his father.

Another God send in David's life is Micah the first wife of David, she was used to save David's life from her fathers men who came for David's life.

1 Samuel 19:11-17

Jesus was a God send to His disciples.

He taught them, trained them, empowered them, and comforted them for life and the work of ministry.

John 14:1-3

Rebecca was a God send to Isaac, she was a comfort to Isaac after his mother's demise.

Genesis 24:67

Jesus Christ is the heavenly Father's God sent. sent to humanity for salvation from sin, for deliverance and for victory.

The wise men were God sent from the heavenly Father to Jesus Christ when He was a toddler.

Matthew 2

God send's are destiny helpers.

Anyone who is a God send will help you get better.

Anyone who is a God sent will help enhance you.

Anyone who is a God sent will come into your life for your good, to play a positive role in your life.

It could be a role of mentorship, a fatherly role, a motherly role, a spiritual role, career help, academic support, spiritual edification or financial and material provision.

Anyone who intercedes for you is a God sent.

Value your intercessors.

Anyone who is advancing your righteous cause is a God sent.

Anyone who chooses to  spend the rest of their life with you to do you good  as a spouse is a God sent.

Psalm 18:22

Anyone being used to bring you out of shame, hardship, difficulty or lack is a God sent person to you.

Moses was a God sent to the children of Israel in bondage.

Exodus 3:14,15

Anyone who chooses you for good over other people is a God sent to you.

Your God sent is someone who chooses to favor you over others.

Don't chase your God sent person, people, or  family away.

Angels are God sends to people they come to, to those God assigns them to.

Hebrews 13:2

A church can be a God sent place to a people.

A job can be a God sent opportunity to an individual.

An idea can be a God sent chance given to the receiver who acts on it.

A  job, responsibility or work may be a God sent opportunity to qualify you for better things despite its unpleasantness.

Pray that you will always recognize your God sent person, people or opportunity.

In a world where there is a lot of fake, a lot of deception, and presumption it is important we can discern.

It is worth asking for the gift of discernment so we don't miss those and that which God sends to us.

    Thank you Pastor Tosin for this beautiful insight and yes God is indeed a connector.

    He intentionally brings people into our lives for a reason and can give us favour in the hearts of others so that His purposes can be fulfilled through those relationships.

    Our relationships are not always by chance. The friendships we form, the people we meet, and the partnerships we build can all be part of God’s plan for our lives.

    God connects people according to His purpose, will, and assignment. Sometimes, a relationship may be more significant than we initially realise because God may have something greater He wants to accomplish through that connection, my prayer is that He connects me, my family and loved one to the right people, Amen.

    When God puts us in someone’s heart, He can give us favour, goodwill, and opportunities that we could not create by our own efforts.

    I appreciate the writer for always using the right illustration in his write-ups and teaching . May the Lord continue to use you for His kingdom works ,Amen

Out Of The Ashes

Isaiah 61:3 Ashes are not seen as useful substances. Ashes are waste that's thrown away. Ashes are what is left after a substance is burnt out. Your life may seem like ashes right now but something good and beautiful can come out of it when it's given to God. You may feel like an ash yourself.
