Psalm 20:7
Our text passage lets us know our the name of the Lord is where our help is and it is more dependable than chariots and horses or the smart inventions of man.
The trust of many people is in all the wrong things, their trust is in things that will ultimately fail them, that's what our text passage tells.
"Chariots and horses" as our text passage mentions, refers to man made devises, structures and systems.
A chariot is a transportation carriage fashioned by men and pulled by a horse or horses.
Horses on the other hand are animals men have learned to ride that enhances transportation and productivity.
What are you looking to outside of God to enhance your life and make you better?
Who are you looking to, outside of God to help you get far or transport you into the league, success or promotion you desire?
They are things that look dependable, strong and seem to be working. they might even bring some form of success but they won't bring success without sorrow.
Proverbs 10:22
Humanity has devised all sorts of ways to succeed and prevail in this life outside of God.
Many successful people by this world's standards are succeeding through fallen angel wisdom and the help of demons in various fields of life.
They are proactively taking steps as spiritual people and moving dark spirits in their favor.
This path does not make people end well, it leads to destruction.
Proverbs 14:12
Self promotion, self reliance, and man made strategies, philosophies and ideas fill our world today.
Many are running with them and to them.
The wise wait on the Lord.
To wait on the Lord is to trust God it, is to believe God against all odds that there will be a performance.
Job 13:15
Waiting on the Lord may not look productive or progressive to the natural eye for a season, but it is wisdom.
Waiting on God makes us win.
Waiting on God attracts miracle solutions to our challenges from the Lord.
Waiting on God shows we love Him.
It shows we have faith in Him and know He has our answers.
There were people who shouldn't have won wars or battles of life but won by a miracle from God.
They waited on God and it was worth it.
Hezekiah should have died but lived 15 more years because he turned to the Lord.
Isaiah 38: 1-9
David was meant to lose to Goliath but he ended up beheading Goliath despite not having a sword in his hand at the start of the fight.
1 Samuel 17:32-51
Israel was meant to perish in the red sea or be destroyed by Pharaoh but the red sea parted to make a way for the nation of Israel, the same red sea swallowed up Pharaoh, his men and his chariots.
Exodus 14:10 - 31
Joseph was meant to perish in prison but emerged in the palace as a ruler of the land of Egypt.
Genesis 41: 14-45

Daniel 6: 16-27
The three Hebrew boys were meant to perish in the fiery furnace, instead they came out of the furnace unscathed bringing God glory in the policy of Babylon around religious worship.
Daniel 3: 14-30
The list goes on in the Bible of people winning by God's divine intervention in their lives.
Your winning glorifies God.
When you win through God, Satan is put to shame and his agents are silenced.
The Lord loves to win by manifesting victory through His people.
Waiting on God makes this happen in our lives.
When God intervenes in a human life or situation, that person wins by a miracle even if the odds are stacked against the individual.
Miracles are what God does, they are natural to God.
May God's victory be seen through you!
