John 11:25,26
From our text passage we read Jesus describing Himself as the resurrection and the life, this suggests to me He not only has resurrection power, He identifies as the resurrection!
The power(s) of Jesus Christ are available to us, his family.
The family of God is a supernatural family.
We are a royal, spiritual, kingdom family.
1 Peter 2:9
We are the Zion of God on the earth, an assembly of God's saints.
Available to us in the family and assembly of God is resurrection power.
Romans 8:11
Resurrection power from the Lord is the highest form of power.
It is supernatural power found only with Jesus Christ and available to His people- His church, His saints, His body, found within His bride.
No voodoo priest, demon or fallen angel can lay claim to resurrection power.
It is only in Jesus we find resurrection power.
Resurrection power, if at work in a life brings lifting.
Matthew 28:5-7
Jesus wasn't found where He was buried.
Something had happened, He came back to life; He is risen!
Resurrection power cannot be resisted, it fulfills God's mission.
Evil spirits worked hard behind the scenes, using human beings to resist the resurrection of the Lord, they failed!
Matthew 27:62-66
Resurrection power mocks/embarrasses the enemy.
1 Corinthians 2:8
The powers of darkness were behind the killing of Jesus, but they did not foresee resurrection power bringing Him back to life.
Grace is something enemies don't factor or put into consideration when they think they have us all figured out, cornered or destroyed.
Resurrection power makes the impossible possible.
The One who has resurrection power brought a man who had been dead for four days back to life !
Where men have given up and see an end, resurrection power creates a new beginning and hope.
John 11:40-44
Resurrection power makes things new.
Death was not the end for Jesus, through the power of the Father He resurrected to a new position, status and glory!
It made things new for Jesus and it can make things new for you.
Mark 16:5-7
Resurrection power brings hope.
The resurrection further sealed the uniqueness of Jesus and brought hope to humanity.
Due to the resurrection, Jesus is our living hope!
