Joy For Difficult Times

 Romans 14:17

Joy that rises up from our heart, that comes from within, that is not determined by external factors is a great blessing, it is like a river that runs through a forest refreshing the animals and plants of that forest.

This joy is a fruit of God's Spirit and it refreshes us,

Joy also strengthens us.

Nehemiah 8:10

The joy God produces in us is not quenched by difficulties or dark times, it's not like the joy the world gives.

John 14:27

The joy the Spirit of God produces in us cannot be taken away by man because it doesn't have it's root in the flesh or the physical dimension.

Galatians 5:22

This joy will give you the strength to keep you going in difficult times.

A joyful person is better positioned for success and destiny than the person who is not joyful.

A joyful person is a hopeful person.

A joyful person will also be a thankful person.

A joyful countenance will make you pleasant, approachable, and amiable.

You can be joyful when you're going through difficult times and your faith is being tested.

James 1:2-3

It is God's will that His people are joyful,.

Psalm 47:1, Psalm 45:7

The joy a person from God's kingdom enjoys is not fake, it is not pretense or acted, it is produced by the Spirit.

Romans 14:17

Jesus Christ is joyful, for the joy set before Him, He endured the cross and despised the shame. If we are like our Lord and King we should be joyful too.

Hebrews 12:2

Joy is a nature from the kingdom of God, it is one of our qualities as citizens of the kingdom.

Our being joyful in difficult times is not being unrealistic,  it is joy based on revelation and a work of the Holy Spirit.

In scripture, joy and glory is associated.

1 Peter 1:8

The joy of God is glorious and the glory of God brings joy.

When God's glory and kingdom show up joy will be present there.

The word of God brings joy to dark places because it is light. It is a propagation of the kingdom and joy is an aspect of God's kingdom.

Acts 8:6-8

In dark and difficult times we can be joyful because the greater one lives in us, His kingdom is within us and the powers of God's kingdom can work through us.

It worked through Philip and brought joy to an entire city.

Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18

The Importance Of The Anointing

Acts 10:38 The anointing is the presence of the Holy Spirit with a person. The anointing speaks, the anointing directs, and the anointing teaches people what they need to know and do. 1 John 2:27 You need the anointing. You can grow in the anointing. It is also possible to depart from the anointing. The anointing won't depart from you but you can depart from the anointing. You should remain in Him. It is worth it investing time to understand the your anointing, growing in your anointing and obeying the anointing. As you get to know a person better by spending time with them, so it is with the anointing in your life. With the anointing, you can't go wrong. The anointing strategically positions you in God's kingdom and in life. Jesus was full of the Holy Spirit. Colossians 2:9 Jesus had the anointing when He was here on earth. Jesus is our example of what our life can be when we have the anointing. Hebrews 12:2 Jesus knew His purpose. Luke 2:49 Jesus

Navigating A New Year

Isaiah  42:16 Our text passage above shows us God is the one who shows us the path to take and leads us in new directions. Your path matters to God. The way you you choose to take is important to God. Your steps are seen by God and ordered by God. Psalm 37:23 The year ahead of you matters to God too. Luke 13:8-9 Each year God has given you the grace to witness, experience, and journey through is another opportunity to be fruitful for God. God wants you to make the most of the year ahead of you to His glory. Human beings do not always know the way and path to go, we can be limited in wisdom. History shows we do not always make the best choices. The year ahead of us will require knowing the way to go, having the wisdom to make the best decisions and choices. Deuteronomy 30:19 To successfully navigate the year we need to stay in God.. To navigate is to find your way through, it is following the right path to a specific destination. Car drivers either buy a GPS/Navigation device system or
