The Wine, The Oil & The Perfume.

Matthew 25:1-13

The Holy Spirit is too important to the believer.
He is a person but functions in our life in various capacities.
The ministry of the Holy Spirit is necessary to walk with God and do God's will here on earth.
The Holy Spirit is God in you as a personal Spirit you can relate with.
The Holy Spirit is necessary to finishing well and walking the Christian walk successfully.
The Holy Spirit is God's seal upon your life that you will make heaven.
The help of the Holy Spirit is not limited to only the spiritual area of things but also our daily life.
The Holy Spirit can help you in all areas of life - your parenting, your marriage, your business, on the job, during your exams, with your studies, your memory e.t.c
John 14:26

The Holy Spirit also functions in the life of the believer as the wine, the oil and the perfume.
As the 'oil' the Holy Spirit anoints us for spiritual offices, spiritual responsibilities, and for the meeting of the Messiah.
1 Samuel 30:13, Matthew 3:16,17

As the 'oil' the Holy Spirit uses us for exploits.
As the oil of God in and upon our lives, the Holy Spirit activates us and brings out our gifts.

As 'the wine' of our lives, the Holy Spirit totally takes over our lives and issues and uses us in a way we do not often see, expect or can even imagine.
Ephesians 5:18
It can be likened to alcohol.
When a person is drunk that individual is under the influence of alcohol, an agent that has entered their system and taken over their faculties and senses.
I believe this is the degree the Holy Spirit desires to use us, but it all depends on us. To what degree do we yield to God's Spirit?
Galatians 5:25

The Holy Spirit operates as our spiritual perfume.
As our 'spiritual perfume' the Holy Spirit makes us appealing and inviting to those who are necessary to our destiny and life's assignment.
Songs Of Solomon 1:3
As our spiritual perfume the Holy Spirit gives us favor with God and man.
2 Corinthians 2:15
He brings love into our lives - the love of a spouse, business partners, family and friends.
For those who need a husband or wife, the Holy Spirit as divine fragrance can attract favor with the right person.
The Holy Spirit spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of God through us. Jesus did so by the Holy Spirit.
Ephesians 5:1,2

Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18

The Importance Of The Anointing

Acts 10:38 The anointing is the presence of the Holy Spirit with a person. The anointing speaks, the anointing directs, and the anointing teaches people what they need to know and do. 1 John 2:27 You need the anointing. You can grow in the anointing. It is also possible to depart from the anointing. The anointing won't depart from you but you can depart from the anointing. You should remain in Him. It is worth it investing time to understand the your anointing, growing in your anointing and obeying the anointing. As you get to know a person better by spending time with them, so it is with the anointing in your life. With the anointing, you can't go wrong. The anointing strategically positions you in God's kingdom and in life. Jesus was full of the Holy Spirit. Colossians 2:9 Jesus had the anointing when He was here on earth. Jesus is our example of what our life can be when we have the anointing. Hebrews 12:2 Jesus knew His purpose. Luke 2:49 Jesus

Navigating A New Year

Isaiah  42:16 Our text passage above shows us God is the one who shows us the path to take and leads us in new directions. Your path matters to God. The way you you choose to take is important to God. Your steps are seen by God and ordered by God. Psalm 37:23 The year ahead of you matters to God too. Luke 13:8-9 Each year God has given you the grace to witness, experience, and journey through is another opportunity to be fruitful for God. God wants you to make the most of the year ahead of you to His glory. Human beings do not always know the way and path to go, we can be limited in wisdom. History shows we do not always make the best choices. The year ahead of us will require knowing the way to go, having the wisdom to make the best decisions and choices. Deuteronomy 30:19 To successfully navigate the year we need to stay in God.. To navigate is to find your way through, it is following the right path to a specific destination. Car drivers either buy a GPS/Navigation device system or
