THINGS MONEY CANNOT BUY.

Matthew 6:24

We live in a very materialistic World.
We are in times where people see their worth based on their salaries, their profit, and how well their careers are going.
Mark 10:17-22
Material things are not bad in themselves, wealth is not evil but the state of our heart towards money and material things can be a problem.
Mark 10:22
Those who are followers of Christ are not supposed to think like everyone.
We are supposed to think differently from people who do not know the Lord.
Romans 12:2

When wealth and material things take the place God should occupy in our hearts, it's called Mammon.
We are in times when Mammon has taken over the thinking of men's hearts.
When people are governed by money and not God many things go wrong.
Mark 10:23-25
The state of our heart needs to be checked and rectified if need be.
Proverbs 4:23

Material things and money have a seducing power and pull that can pull us away from the right way.
Proverbs 14:12
Money or wealth (material) cannot and should not replace God in our heart.
It calls for perspective and priority.
The love of money and not God has made humanity prioritize wrongly.
Matthew 6:24

We've stopped loving people and started 'using' them, instead of loving people and using money.
1 John 4:20
It's time to place value and priority on God, our fellow man, the Kingdom of God, and the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Matthew 6:33

We won't prioritize money over God when we understand that everything money can get us, God has provided it for us in His Kingdom.
Money can't meet your every need but God does. Philippians 4:19
Money is a defence, and it answers all things but it does not meet your every need.

There are things money cannot buy:
1) MONEY CAN'T SECURE YOUR ETERNITY WITH GOD.
Luke 18:26,27

2) MONEY CAN'T GRANT YOU SALVATION.
Romans 10:9

3) MONEY CAN'T PRODUCE YOUR HEALTH.
Isaiah 58:8

4) MONEY DOESN'T GIVE YOU A GOOD NIGHTS SLEEP.
Psalm 127:2

5) MONEY CAN'T GRANT YOU COMPASSIONATE AND RESPONSIBLE CHILDREN.
Psalm 127:3

6) MONEY DOESN'T GIVE YOU WISDOM & UNDERSTANDING.
James 1:5

7) MONEY DOESN'T GIVE YOU VICTORY OVER YOUR ENEMIES.
Deuteronomy 20:4

8) MONEY DOESN'T GIVE YOU GOD'S BLESSING.
Proverbs 10:22

We need to go back to the cross, we need to come into the Kingdom of God.
The true wealth and happiness we seek is waiting there for us with God's blessing.

Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18

Navigating A New Year

Isaiah  42:16 Our text passage above shows us God is the one who shows us the path to take and leads us in new directions. Your path matters to God. The way you you choose to take is important to God. Your steps are seen by God and ordered by God. Psalm 37:23 The year ahead of you matters to God too. Luke 13:8-9 Each year God has given you the grace to witness, experience, and journey through is another opportunity to be fruitful for God. God wants you to make the most of the year ahead of you to His glory. Human beings do not always know the way and path to go, we can be limited in wisdom. History shows we do not always make the best choices. The year ahead of us will require knowing the way to go, having the wisdom to make the best decisions and choices. Deuteronomy 30:19 To successfully navigate the year we need to stay in God.. To navigate is to find your way through, it is following the right path to a specific destination. The Importance Of The Anointing

Acts 10:38 The anointing is the presence of the Holy Spirit with a person. The anointing speaks, the anointing directs, and the anointing teaches people what they need to know and do. 1 John 2:27 You need the anointing. You can grow in the anointing. It is also possible to depart from the anointing. The anointing won't depart from you but you can depart from the anointing. You should remain in Him. It is worth it investing time to understand the your anointing, growing in your anointing and obeying the anointing. As you get to know a person better by spending time with them, so it is with the anointing in your life. With the anointing, you can't go wrong. The anointing strategically positions you in God's kingdom and in life. Jesus was full of the Holy Spirit. Colossians 2:9 Jesus had the anointing when He was here on earth. Jesus is our example of what our life can be when we have the anointing. Hebrews 12:2 Jesus knew His purpose. Luke 2:49 Jesus
