Interpreting Your Dreams.

Job 33:15-18
Matthew 1:20-22

God can bring directing to you through dreams!
Dreams can be a means through which God speaks to His people.

The Bible is filled with people God spoke to in the form of dreams.
If God spoke to people in the past through dreams, it means God still speaks to people through dreams today.

God can use the medium of dreams to talk to us because dreams come when we are still and peaceful. When we are asleep God can get across to us because the distractions of daily life is  not occurring around us. Job 33:15-18
When we are busy, working and going about the day we can miss God's still, small voice when it comes. Psalm 46:10
The secret to divine dreams is to understand and accurately interpret what God is saying to us. Genesis 41:39

It is worth noting that it's not every dream that's from God.
Dreams can come from our mental realm, which is the result of things we have stored in our minds or things we have been thinking about.
Dreams can also come from the enemy of our souls to try and oppress us. Some dreams are from the devil. Those are evil dreams, nightmares.
Dreams can come from God. These are divine dreams!

In these times God has chosen to speak to us through His son. Hebrews 1:1-3
God's Son is the Word. John 1:1-5
Jesus is the Word.
So God's Word must be the guide to the interpreting of our dreams. Hebrews 1:2

Divine dreams, dreams from God can be interpreted in the light of God's Word.
As we study God's Word, God will begin to show us how the dreams we've had relate to some passage(s) in the Bible.
We need the knowledge of God's Word and the help of the Holy Spirit to interpret our dreams properly.
The skill of dream interpretation is a skill only God can give. Job 33:23 (KJV)
Men like Joseph of Egypt, Daniel of Babylon, the wise men who visited Jesus, Joseph the husband of Mary, Jacob who became Israel are examples of men God spoke to through dreams.
Even Kings like Pharaoh of Egypt, Nebuchadenezzer of Babylon received dreams from God.

Some understood the instruction in their dreams.
Some understood and could interpret their dreams.
Some didn't understand and could not interpret their dreams.
Having the Spirit of God with us is the major key to interpreting our dreams.
It is God's Spirit that will link our dreams to the Word of God and give us an interpretation.

What Do Divine Dreams Do For Us?

1. They instruct. eg. the wise men

2. They warn. eg. Pharaoh

3. They direct. eg. Joseph (husband of Mary)

4. They reveal. eg. Jacob

May the Spirit of God be found in us to help us interpret our dreams.

Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18

The Importance Of The Anointing

Acts 10:38 The anointing is the presence of the Holy Spirit with a person. The anointing speaks, the anointing directs, and the anointing teaches people what they need to know and do. 1 John 2:27 You need the anointing. You can grow in the anointing. It is also possible to depart from the anointing. The anointing won't depart from you but you can depart from the anointing. You should remain in Him. It is worth it investing time to understand the your anointing, growing in your anointing and obeying the anointing. As you get to know a person better by spending time with them, so it is with the anointing in your life. With the anointing, you can't go wrong. The anointing strategically positions you in God's kingdom and in life. Jesus was full of the Holy Spirit. Colossians 2:9 Jesus had the anointing when He was here on earth. Jesus is our example of what our life can be when we have the anointing. Hebrews 12:2 Jesus knew His purpose. Luke 2:49 Jesus

Navigating A New Year

Isaiah  42:16 Our text passage above shows us God is the one who shows us the path to take and leads us in new directions. Your path matters to God. The way you you choose to take is important to God. Your steps are seen by God and ordered by God. Psalm 37:23 The year ahead of you matters to God too. Luke 13:8-9 Each year God has given you the grace to witness, experience, and journey through is another opportunity to be fruitful for God. God wants you to make the most of the year ahead of you to His glory. Human beings do not always know the way and path to go, we can be limited in wisdom. History shows we do not always make the best choices. The year ahead of us will require knowing the way to go, having the wisdom to make the best decisions and choices. Deuteronomy 30:19 To successfully navigate the year we need to stay in God.. To navigate is to find your way through, it is following the right path to a specific destination. Car drivers either buy a GPS/Navigation device system or
