Ensuring Answers To Prayers

Jeremiah 33:3

People pray because people believe God can answer their prayer.
People pray with the hope that things will get better.
People pray because they accept there is a God who hears them.

People become discouraged when they pray but they don't see any result. Proverbs 13:12
We can and we should get answers to prayer. 2 Chronicles 7:14

There are things we can do to ensure we get answers to prayer.
There are laws for life and prayer - Psalm 94:12

When our prayers are unanswered, it is not God's fault. James 4:3
God is a perfect and kind God.
Most times when our prayers are unanswered, it has to do with us, let us look inwards.

God is a God of principles!
When we follow the principles God has laid down, we get the results He wants us to have.

A major principle of life which applies to prayer is SEED TIME and HARVEST. Genesis 8:22
Seed time and harvest is a principle farmers work with.
To have a harvest, farmers work on the soil, seed, and water.
Spiritually we have to do the same thing to get harvests of answered prayer.

1) FARMERS PLOUGH THE SOIL: they break fallow groung to prepare the soil and to get the best out of the soil before putting in the seed. Hosea 10:12
Spiritually, the soil can be likened to our relationship with God.
Let's do everything to fix our relationship with God.
If we have to repent let's do so.
If we to have to forgive or release someone let's do so.
As we do these things we are preparing the spiritual soil for harvest.

2) FARMERS PUT IN THE SEEDS: after ploughing the soil, farmers put in the seed.
Spiritually, we do this by putting our words to God when our relationship with God is sorted first.
Our words are our seeds. Luke 8:11
Which words are you putting to God?
When you pray, you are putting words to God which comes back as a harvest of answered prayers.

3) FARMERS WATER THE SEEDS: spiritually, God's Word after prayer either by praise or worship or godly confessions about what we expect after prayer is what waters your seed.
Ephesians 5:26

The principles are:
1) Get right with God.
2) Pray
3) Praise & godly confessions

These principles will ensure the delivering of the answers to our prayers.

Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18

The Importance Of The Anointing

Acts 10:38 The anointing is the presence of the Holy Spirit with a person. The anointing speaks, the anointing directs, and the anointing teaches people what they need to know and do. 1 John 2:27 You need the anointing. You can grow in the anointing. It is also possible to depart from the anointing. The anointing won't depart from you but you can depart from the anointing. You should remain in Him. It is worth it investing time to understand the your anointing, growing in your anointing and obeying the anointing. As you get to know a person better by spending time with them, so it is with the anointing in your life. With the anointing, you can't go wrong. The anointing strategically positions you in God's kingdom and in life. Jesus was full of the Holy Spirit. Colossians 2:9 Jesus had the anointing when He was here on earth. Jesus is our example of what our life can be when we have the anointing. Hebrews 12:2 Jesus knew His purpose. Luke 2:49 Jesus

Navigating A New Year

Isaiah  42:16 Our text passage above shows us God is the one who shows us the path to take and leads us in new directions. Your path matters to God. The way you you choose to take is important to God. Your steps are seen by God and ordered by God. Psalm 37:23 The year ahead of you matters to God too. Luke 13:8-9 Each year God has given you the grace to witness, experience, and journey through is another opportunity to be fruitful for God. God wants you to make the most of the year ahead of you to His glory. Human beings do not always know the way and path to go, we can be limited in wisdom. History shows we do not always make the best choices. The year ahead of us will require knowing the way to go, having the wisdom to make the best decisions and choices. Deuteronomy 30:19 To successfully navigate the year we need to stay in God.. To navigate is to find your way through, it is following the right path to a specific destination. Car drivers either buy a GPS/Navigation device system or
