NEGOTIATING WITH GOD

Genesis 18:17-33

Many things about the physical realm reflect the spiritual possibilities in the Spirit realm.
Truths are parallel.
This is part of what parables show us.
Parables are fictional stories, that reveal a moral or spiritual truth.
Jesus used parables to communicate spiritual truths on an earthly level.
The reason for Jesus teaching in parables was to make deep spiritual truths, particularly about God's Kingdom easy for people to understand.

If we negotiate in the physical realm, we negotiate in the spiritual realm to.
Isaiah 1:18 shows us negotiating with God is possible.
The word 'negotiation' is a word associated with business.
Every child of God is a spiritual business man or woman.
We are here doing business for God, that's why God doesn't take us to heaven immdiately we give our lives to Jesus Christ. Luke 19:13

God leaves us here on earth to use the gifts and abilities He has put in us. 1 Corinthians 12:7-8
And one day we will give an account to God of how we have done 'business' for God.
Every child of God is a spiritual business man or woman.
Successful business men will tell you that the ability to negotiate is an vital factor in business.
"In business you don't get what you deserve, you get what you negotiate"
In our spiritual walk we can negotiate with God.
People who can negotiate with God get more out of God. It's the reason some sons and daughters of God have more to show than their brethren.
Isaiah 38:1
Prayer is the major way we negotiate with God.
The Word of God is our spiritual business manual
God's Word shows us what we can have and what we can ask. Romans 12:2
We discover from the Word what we can negotiate for.

We negotiate with God in prayer by:
1) Asking Questions-  prayer time is also a time to ask God for what we want and to as God questions about life and issues. Matthew 7:7
2) Seeking and Knocking- What we seek in life and prayer is what we get. Matthew 7:7
3) Speaking God's Word back to Him- Speaking God's Word back to God CAN guarantees His attention.
4) Interceeding- Abraham was negotiating with God through intercession. Genesis 18:17-33

Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18...

Out Of The Ashes

Isaiah 61:3 Ashes are not seen as useful substances. Ashes are waste that's thrown away. Ashes are what is left after a substance is burnt out. Your life may seem like ashes right now but something good and beautiful can come out of it when it's given to God. You may feel like an ash yourself. You may be feeling burnt out from unpleasant experiences of the past, the previous week, the last Month , or the the last year and life's battles may have left you burnt out. Know that out of your ashes can come beauty! God is the one who gives us beauty for ashes. God can make you and your life beautiful! Don't make the ashes your permanent state. God can make your season of ashes work out into a season of glory for you. Romans 8:28 The phoenix is a mystical and fictional bird that burns out after living for about six centuries. After burning itself out it rises from it's ashes renewed, youthful and revitalized to live through another life cycle. Like the p...
