All Power, All Authority!

 Matthew 28:18

All power is with Jesus the Christ!

All authority is with Jesus the Christ!

It was given to Him by God our Heavenly Father.

Power is the ability and force to get a thing done.

Authority is the backing, the right, the rank or position to use power.

Power and authority are synonymous.

After the resurrection of Jesus Christ, power and authority to do all things in heaven and on earth was granted Him.

What can this power and authority do?

i. It turns curses into blessings.

Numbers 3:11,12

ii. It changes the fortunes of a family for the better.

  2 Samuel 6:11,12

iii. It changes the life and destiny of an individual for the better.

1 Chronicles 4:9,10

iv. It deals with demons and fallen angels.

Jude 6

v. It distinguishes between the real and the false.

It separates the fake from the real, the counterfeit from the authentic.

1 kings 18

vi. It overcomes enemies and puts them in their place.

Luke 10:19

vii. It resists the devil.

James 4:7

Satan is the prince of the power of the air but there is a power greater than this, this greater power and authority is with Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 2:2

viii. It heals, saves, and delivers.

Malachi 4:2

Isaiah 61:3 Ashes are not seen as useful substances. Ashes are waste that's thrown away. Ashes are what is left after a substance is burnt out. Your life may seem like ashes right now but something good and beautiful can come out of it when it's given to God. You may feel like an ash yourself. You may be feeling burnt out from unpleasant experiences of the past, the previous week, the last Month , or the the last year and life's battles may have left you burnt out.
